BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus

I used to love this app, but ever since a 2025 update, the app no longer works on my phone. It opens to a blank screen and hangs (the web version still works). I tried working with Customer Service but they gave up when they couldn't figure it out & ghosted me. Also, how is it possible that this app still doesn't allow you to change your home location? I tried to install in France, but then the app only appears in French, and can't verify a non-French phone number. Sad they can't figure it out.

super easy to use, good drivers, more convenient than buses or trains. just have to watch out for the size of baggage you bring. also be sure to note how tall you are in your profile (193cm!) because some small cars can get uncomfortable. the biggest minus is that they don't have enough drivers going to smaller villages, but maybe as it gets more popular.

This app makes my unplanned trips completely hassle-free! It’s incredibly reliable and easy to use. I highly recommend it to everyone who loves spontaneous travel! You can plan your trip in advance if rides are available on your preferred travel date. Typically, rides are posted a couple of days before the journey, as owners often finalize their plans at the last minute based on availability and demand/availability of co-passengers.

Great experiance of app and finds the rides better. Also for our rides gets the passengers easily. Nice UI and updates. It is very helpful for the environment by sharing rides instead of individual ones and increasing traffic and pollution problems, and economically helpful for people as well. Only one caution I would say not for the app but for the users using it, don't pay before ride completes.

My experience with the app worsened with the last updates. Passengers cannot make reservations for multiple people. In a country like Türkiye, journeys are decided in the last hours and people make reservations even in the last 10 minutes, it is not Europe. The new cancelation rules doesn't make sense. A person who wants to book the journey in the last 10 mins, he cannot do it but he can still contact me and we do the journey together, so no rating. Pricing is still low and not user friendly.

Most of the time, BlaBlaCar is very useful and one of the best options for travel. However, there is one issue—sometimes drivers cancel the ride at the last minute, which puts passengers in trouble. It would be helpful if the app had a feature where drivers clearly mention their cancellation preference in advance, like a 50%-50% option, so passengers know how reliable the ride is before booking. This small improvement can make the travel experience much smoother.

Unfortunately, the UX of the general idea is 10/10, the UX of the app is somewhere around 5/10 for me. One example for all, it is a travel application and it's not possible to set a language of the app. So now the app took the language of the country I'm currently in, I don't understand the language and I'm not able to change it. The communication with the servers is also often unstable and the app then just doesn't work 🥲

the app is really good and i have been using this app from long now. but issue is they are giving too much of add now. atleast 3 adds they give and it waste approx 5 minutes of time to remove those adds. i suggest to have only one add once we open the app. on top of that i usually check the rides for atleast 3 to 4 times a day and every time i need to see 3 adds which waste a lot of time.

Great car pool (Bla Bla) app. Especially for teenagers & working professionals who commute on every weekend basis to go home and enjoy weekends. Also good for riders /owner that they can review and find good accompany. Not only for money only but also for networking too. One suggestion- Secure the app more in terms or data & taxi cars should not include on this. Get fill form with all details and approves only personal cars because drivers doing business on this & ditched. All the Best.

It's really convenient and reasonably priced. People who post for rides here are mostly good people with good driving skills and pretty reliable. Me and my friends regularly use the platform. But yes, if you have to reach somewhere like an airport or something very important where you need to be on time, I'd recommend you use something more reliable because there might be cancellations and some people might get late or something in those lines since there are just normal commuting people.

The location features could be improved for non selected stops too, like if the driver doesn't put any designated stops, it could suggest someone the same person if the pickup could be done via an alternate similar route ( like an earlier left turn instead of 1 km later, not changing the distance, just the road through which one goes) this and the suggestions could have been slightly better. overall a pretty good app, Nice community and all.

The app works well overall, but the location search needs improvement. When I enter a specific pickup and drop point (for example, in Gurugram), it shows rides from the entire city instead of nearby matches. This reduces accuracy and wastes time. Results should be limited to a fixed radius, ideally within 0.5 km of the exact pickup location. Adding a radius filter (0.5 km, 1 km, 2 km) would greatly improve user experience and ride matching accuracy.

I'm reviewing after a couple of years of usage, one thing is was major role playing is in terms of distance showing in colour coding way I.e "close to departure/arrival points icon green/orange" has been removed and it's very difficult to find out whos is near or long distance now...!! #Blabla whatever you update, but bring it back again that feature..!

This was my first experience using BlaBlaCar and it was really smooth. The app is easy to use, booking was simple, and I found a ride quickly. The driver details and trip information were clear, which made me feel safe and confident. Overall, a very convenient and budget friendly way to travel. Highly recommended for first time users as well.

very poor app trying to cancel my ride no response from car owner but no submit button is showing after writing before it shows but once you write it automatically don't show so you are not able to write your complaint. Cancel options should be given to customer most of taxi service person have started using app to make money without using taxi commercial service private owned vechile. many times the taxi owner don't pick up call . The app should show vechile type & it's registered number.

Pathetic Ad management. You are looking for an urgent ride. But you are forced to watch ads. Disgusting. Also there should be filter options like exclude the rides which are already full and have no space. and also sort or filter as per ratings. so that there's an option to select higher and good ratings only for safety purpose.

Really handy and affordable alternative to public transport. Just a few small issues with internationalisation in the app if you're traveling around many countries (if I want English in the app, I also have to use pounds as the currency), but otherwise great.

Excellent platform. But few issues. Issue is not with the app but with the Passenger. Some people don't show up in last minute. They don't even communicate that they had changed there plans. I have a solution for these type of spammer: 1) Passage should pay the amount to the bla bla wallet. 2) If they book any ride the amount will be blocked. 3) Passenger can cancel the ride before 3 hrs without any charges. 4) If Passenger don't show up the amount debited to Rider.

I had a great experience using BlaBla Cab. The booking process was simple, the driver was punctual and professional, and the car was clean and comfortable. It’s a budget-friendly and convenient way to travel long distances without any hassle. Would definitely use it again!

Overall Experience is fabulous! However the App can also provide the following: (1) Option for leaving ratings for co-passengers should also be provided. (2) Another functionality for making boarding and dropping from and to the intended places vis-a-vis places enroute should also be provided.
