Terrible. A slow, frustrating set up that, in spite of saying "save and next", forgets what you've entered and makes you completely restart each time. It took thirty minutes just to set up the app. The station locator cannot find stations right in front of me, and even using this app is insanely slow. Starting a charge on a "free" charging station has yet to work, and it just suggests I try again later.

I downloaded and installed this app to find out more information on some Blink chargers. It is without a doubt the absolute worst app I have installed on my phone. Even trying to type your e-mail is horrible. Type a character and the keyboard goes away. Tap the text box and it comes back for the next character. Seriously how TF did this ever get released? This is like alpha quality software. UPDATE: The app doesn't seem to work with a Samsung S pen.

update 2/2026: App will still log you out like a champ when you have poor connectivity. sigh. 7/2025: Words do not exist to describe my frustration with having to use this app. I get logged out on a regular basis because the parking garage at work has poor connectivity and it doesn't support NFC. Will uninstall and never look back when I can. App is Garbage: Slow, jittery, flakey. Don't like it, but I have to use it to charge at work. Yuck.

app is janky and needs improvement. the first time I tried to use it to pay for parking at a museum, it kept throwing me "unknown error" messages, even though I was logged in and had a valid card on file. the app did not say that I needed to add a balance to my account, but when I added a balance via credit card, it began charging. they should have had a decent error message that tells you to add to your balance. today I used it again and NFC payment didn't work, starting charge point app. why

The app is glitchy and poorly built. The charging station in Downtown Eugene, Oregon has only one plug in working. Both plugs have been flashing they need critical updates for years. when I try getting the non-functional one to charge with the app, I get error messages. If I want to report a problem, I need to create an account. Fine. It says to create an account I inexplicably have to go to log in, then recover password. I send the email. It doesn't go through. Jaysus. Inoperable.

so far a bit of a learning curve and searching the serial number at night in the cold wasn't fun. neither was getting up at midnight to move the car, especially since no one else is using them at tje hotel. I got to the hotel only to learn their destination charger wasn't available on any of my apps and I had to download a new app, call in to find out how to do it because destination chargers don't come up and have to be entered by serial number manually.

One of the worst apps I have used recently. Janky UI that constantly misses the clicks and closes the keyboard popup. Credit card form doesn't let Android auto fill to work, so for the first time in many years, I had to type the credit card number by hand. Guest mode doesn't work well - it is no faster than signing up. By far the worst charging experience, and that's saying something. edit: tried twice again and still the same experience. Devs should be ashamed of themselves.

This is one of the most poorly made and poorly functioning programs I have ever used. It takes multiple seconds to notice you tapped a field. It randomly leaves fields and doesn't let you put in data. It can't even search for one of it's own stations when I managed to put in the exact charging station code. Avoid. Do not use. Forces you to use a terrible app that requires payment upfront so they can hold on to your money and give you a terrible experience.

I installed this app and as of 1 hour later I'm still not able to charge my vehicle. I can't get into account settings, can't turn off auto refill, it won't connect to any of the four chargers, and when I try to log in, it flashes and then says "session expired", over and over again. This app is the number one argument for not getting an electric car. oh, and did I mention that is incredibly slow? 25% in about 3 hours.

Unusable. Every click takes 10+ seconds to complete even just focusing in a text box. Besides that it's incredibly complicated. You need to register to add a credit card. You are then required to get a "Blink code". To do this you must put $20 into your account whether you opted for the auto-refill or not. Why not use phone tap & NFC? You can request a physical Blink card in the mail - again, why not use a phone? Cost of charging is more than double Tesla Supercharger rates. Don't bother.

App does not work well, even with full 5g signal strength on a new phone. Poor user interface. Constantly prompts me to agree to terms and conditions, after I have agreed once this shouldn't keep popping up. Repetitively prompts me to provide credit card info, despite the station I am attempting to use being free. Using near field connectivity force opened Google wallet, did not initiate charging. I was unable to successfully look up the charging station, and unable to charge my vehicle.

I hate to give a one star review with one opportunity but it was really two. went through length sign up, added $20 to account to find one of the two units at the location wasn't working. didn't find out until I paid. went back next day to use the other. car plugged in for almost two hours, zero charge. yes, both the charger and my car acknowledged the connection. so not I have $20 in my account I will probably never use. geez.

You have to put $20 in your account, to be able to charge. This is really annoying when you're going to charge for less than $2 at a charger you're probably not going back to anytime soon. On other apps you can choose the amount to fill from a credit card. Edit: Received a pathetic response from the dev, not addressing my issue at all. Blink is essentially a scam, since they force you to add $20 minimum.

This is easily one of the worst apps I've ever tried to use. I spent 15 minutes trying to download it just to charge when every other charger just takes your debit or credit card at the source and away you go. I was one of three people who had the same experience One who pulled away as I pulled up and one who gave up while I was there trying to make it work. Save your time save your money it's a very slow charge at best, but when the app won't even work it's pointless.

Absolutely horrible app, it took me several trys to even figure out what app I needed for the charger. The charger says to tap your phone or smart card, or call to start a session. it's only when you jump through the hoops of calling and being told the " charger is unavailable" that your finally told to download the app. The app itself is incredibly slow and will constantly tell you it's "unable to connect" and makes you enter the same information multiple times.

The process is frustrating. I get charged a $3 start fee even when the charging session fails due to a fault in their machine. Every time, I have to call customer support to request a refund for something that shouldn't have been charged in the first place. Their system should be smart enough to automatically waive the fee if the issue is on their end. It's ridiculous—I’ve never had to deal with this kind of hassle with other EV charging providers. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

So bad I went back to gas cars. The minimum cash you can give them at any time is $20, and the auto-refill never lets you go below $10. I accidentally logged in with the wrong email one time. That mistake cost me $20 since I couldn't add less. Even if you don't make a mistake, you're basically out $20 that you'll never get back. If you have ANY other option, do NOT choose this app. EDIT: they have now added a "start fee", absolutely predatory

This is disgusting. They take your money, then make the app absolutely unusable. Every time I go to charge my car it takes 40 minutes or more to navigate all the garbage they throw at you. Worst of all is the menus constantly reloading, which makes selecting ANYTHING a 15 minute process, at a minimum. Do not install this app, do not EVER use this company for charging. Boycott them out of the market.

The app does what I want, but... It is very unresponsive. Page take a while to load. I have to press many of the buttons/links multiple times When entering text data, it is hard to select a box for entry. Once selected, the keyboard option will appear and disappear. Question: if a have Private Access locations, can I get one of those to list as Favorites? That doesn't seem to be the case, so I have to browse all the PA options every time. I marked two as favorites, but that had no effect.

The app works fine, but I'm giving a low score because of the requirement to preload your account with $20 before using any paid charging station. Across all of the EV charging apps with this practice, I have $150+ sitting in various wallets. It's a stupid system and you guys need to do better. Why not do a $50 pre-authorization the way gas stations do?
