Superp utility app. I've been a free user for many years and I didn't hesitate to purchase the premium that I noticed when I changed some devices around. Despite having the option to continue to enjoy it for free after a short ad to do a fairly one time action, I honestly wanted to show support to the designer. The one touch widget is extremely handy for me as am hard of hearing and I use several bluetooth components used across several different devices.
This tool is awesome! I freakin love it!! It creates little desktop widgets for each connection. You just touch the widget to connect, then touch again to disconnect. When connected, it shows you the connection status, the battery level, etc. You can also control connections through the app itself, which has a lot more options available. It has ads, but they're not obtrusive. Anyway, great tool! Wish I'd had it sooner!
Bluetooth Audio Connect Widget addresses a pain point in Android (Pixel 3); Google made disconnecting/connecting to Bluetooth devices disjointed and ugly. I've been using this app for years. My old headset could only connect to one device at a time, so I used this app to switch from phone to laptop and back. Works great! My new headset connects to both phone and laptop concurrently, so I don't use the connect/disconnect as much recently. I do continue to view the battery percentage.
When I remote start my car, the bluetooth does not kick in automatically so I have to go through so many taps to select my car's bluetooth. I installed this app yesterday, and this morning all I had to do was tap an icon on my home screen and my car connected. Thank you so much to the developer of this app. I paid for ad free. It is worth it! I will add another star once I use it more without kinks.
Well, it's installed on all my devices. Need I say more? Awesome app to control the connection state and much more of already paired devices. It is not for pairing devices, even though some folks might think that's what connecting a device means, it is not connecting, it is pairing. Your phone/tablet is quite adequate doing that.
This app does exactly what I needed it to do. Since Google removed the Bluetooth popup menu when you tap on the settings tile I was looking for a way to easily disconnect from my BT devices while keeping BT on that saved me from having to navigate all the way to my settings to do it manually. This app does exactly that in a very clean and discreet way. Great job!!!
Update per feedback: I turned off the priority setting (beta) and problem solved, thanks! Great app, just what I needed! however in the last few days (since the May 23rd update maybe?), Android 15 on Moto Edge+ 2023 constantly shows a Priority notification from BAC that pops up in notification bar, then closes. Force-closing the app stops it, but of course then the widgets are broken.
Android 16 broke Bluetooth. Tom has fixed it. It's even better than Android 15. I can now one tap toggle my Bluetooth connections from my home screen rather than dragging down from the top, turning on Bluetooth, selecting the device and then it possibly not connecting properly. Great work!
Does not fix the Android problem. The device is paired but not used as system speakers. Android 10 with Pixel 2 is awful! Now with a newer phone: does not connect audio. does not install widget after watching ad. Chrome with Whereby audio goes to the phone speaker. Uses call channel. Want to connect the channel live to my head speakers. No can do. Because in a meeting cannot boot my phone.
PLEASE allow custom Shortcuts when clicking the widget. My headphones have all of its settings inside the Bluetooth device information in Bluetooth settings. Thank you a ton for this app. I was struggling with Tasker, KWGT & other apps. I wish I found this sooner. Also, I really wish I could join the Beta ;-;
Great app and bought it. but a after a few days/weeks now the ads have reappeared. how do I disable them again? edit: issue fully resolved! it was a mistake on my part.
Saves time, don't have to go to settings to connect Bluetooth device Extra features: - control what audio input app use, if you have bluetooth earphones, force the app to only use that
It's a widget app, it doesn't show when the headphones or speaker is connected by popping up but it manages the connection by displaying how much battery is left as a widget.
absolutely useless application, has a bunch of options which never would ve helpful. I expected at least setting up bindings of gestures, or showing them. instead we have an unskippable ADs
Great app and works well with all of my audio devices except my Beltone hearing aids which is the main reason that I purchased the app. I thought they would come under the category of headphones but that doesn't seem to be the case. It takes me to the list of paired devices and, fortunately, Beltone is at the top of the list. When the hearing aids are connected to my phone via bluetooth, phone calls on my mobile have a lot of feedback so I need an convenient way to disconnect Bluetooth.
When I first got it, it worked like a charm. I use the single device widget to connect to Android Auto adapter in one click. I do gig work from my car and get in and out 30+ times per day, and need a one click homescreen solution to prevent having to click through multiple screens and then navigate back to my homescreen every single time. Saved me about $3000/yr in lost income! Yes I did the math correctly. Except now it doesn't work with the latest Android update. Just opens Bluetooth menu.
This app may work as described but I wouldn't use it. Although it has a free version, it requires a credit card authorization at the final step in order to use it.
Does what it says it does and just works! - allows me to place Bluetooth connect/disconnect buttons on the phone home screen.
This is the app I was looking for. Offers enough customization to look good on my home screen and does what I want. it's a shame it can't just connect my headphones with the click of a button but that's an android limitation. Still much faster than going through the Bluetooth menu. Cheers
It is a very cool little app, easy to use, and looks cool, I have an Audio Pro C10 and an Audio Pro C3. I can easily switch between them. Thank you very much for your hard work. Edit this is still one of the most important apps. Thanks for the update, Tom. 2nd Ed, this is still one great app that's constantly updated. I just brought an audio pro c20, and this app still works great.
