Boggle With Friends: Word Game

So this is still one of my favorite games when I can play it and for the last few months it's actually been working well, and of course it's fun. Minor glitch this evening in that you can finish a game against an opponent but somehow it doesn't register, and the opponent will still appear to be waiting for you to play. I have restarted my phone and forced the app closed. Still that being said this is one of my favorite games

I reinstalled this game after uninstalling it due to frequent freezing while playing. While I don't have the freezing issue anymore, now the game frequently gets interrupted with a message about having viruses on my phone and to click the link to avoid having my personal and bank account information compromised. Very clearly a phishing scam and only happens when I am playing this game. I deleted the game again.

Been playing for years and love it, but today, during a game, I received a phishing message telling me there were viruses on my phone and the only way to fix it was to click a link. Many innocent people might fall for that. My question is whether the game actually has malware or if this is simply a trick ad. Regardless, it's unacceptable. I knew it was phishing and to try simply hitting the back button, but others may not know to do that.

The game can be fun. However, the ads are sketchy. They'll either redirect out of the game into the browser. Or straight to the app store. And most tecently, auto download their apps to your phone! And you can't report them to the developer. The listed emails are non monitored inboxes and you have to have an account to contact them in some frustratingly complicated way. Uninstalled after today's fiasco with the auto downloaded app with the fake "exit" button on the ad.

As much as I used to love this game, I'm considering uninstalling the app if they don't fix certain things: 1) I haven't received a Super Mega Prize in months because if I wait a day or longer to play, the Mystery Daily Bonus goes back to the start. This doesn't seem fair AT ALL. 2) It takes TOO long to get rewarded when you play Live Tournaments. I've given up on those. 3) Nothing ever changes. Same bonus rewards, at the same times. Blah. Boring. This needs to be revamped.

I use to love this game & play all the time. I recently reinstalled it and I am so frustrated with it now. It freezes all the time & takes too long to load games. Sometimes it doesn't load at all. I'm constantly closing out the app & then reopening it. There are times that don't even help. I don't know what was done to this app but it sucks now. FYI: I have noticed it freezes if theres a reward or achievement to collect and you don't collect it before you start a new game. Please Fix this!

I used to LOVE this game and just came back after a year. Now it's horrible. Constant freezes. So many ads, my God! 4-screen long, loud 45+ secs. But this developer is famous for that. Since I had to start over, irritated and confused over the massively cluttered UI. Battery drain, just garbage. I never made enough coins/tickets or paid $ to play. I had 11 games started with players who , after 4 days, never played. If you leave, you lose. Uninstalled..what a hot mess. Used to be so fun.

I hoped the latest update would stop the freezing but it's actually worse. It now freezes multiple times within a round. I have to force stop the app just to finish my turn. It's not enjoyable anymore. It just froze twice in the same turn. It's not even freezing for ads - it's the app's reward pop-ups that do it. It used to be fun but they turned it into bloatware. Device and app are updated to latest versions. Now on 18.4.1499. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. It just isn't programmed well.

Update from my initial review. During the daily game, a lot of simple words won't register. It is frustrating to see a word and it won't be accepted. Time wasted selecting the word not to get credit for it. I still like the game, but won't play the daily challenge anymore. There is no way to ask why the words aren't accepted. Uninstalling after years ....................... Love this game. I just play solo, but there are live players you can compete against. There is a short ad after each round.

I've been playing this game for years. Now it constantly lags. You have to wait several seconds for your word to complete. Trying to complete a word quickly (as it was able to in the past) is impossible. Reinstalling doesn't solve the problem as I see many people have tried. The game is so frustrating now that I've lost interest in playing. Look elsewhere for a word game. What started as a fun game has turned into aggravation!

In terms of the game itself : great, exactly what I was hoping for. In terms of the ads: oh. My. God. It is an ad after every game and I wish I was overreacting. It's six minutes of games and three minutes of ads with no way to even pay them to go away. I don't have much time for games (almost done with BSN degree) and I have less time for a game that's actually a commercial. I'll reinstall if it gets fixed.

I love this game and play everyday. There are a lots of issues since the last update. I haven't been able to play the daily event in weeks. It just says to click for results and then I get the circle of death (loading symbol). I still play the other features, but I liked playing in the daily even too. Update: over a month and still can't play the daily event. Second update: it's now July 10th and no fox for the daily event.

Love this game. Woukd give it a 5 star, however, in the last few days very difficult to play. Won't let me make words as it skips letters I have highlighted. My speed is very slow just so I can go over letters to make a word. Extremely frustrating. I've enjoyed playing this and have learned new words and chat with some people I play with. Hopefully this issue is fixed soon.

The game itself is very fun and mostly smooth (though sometimes the animation gets choppy or hangs a bit on my phone). But the ADS! Oh, the ads are so awful! Very long and intrusive. You often have to wait 30 seconds for them to end or click them closed 2 or 3 times. They really ruin the game. The ads are often irrelevant and repetitive. I'd gladly spend money on an ad-free version if it existed, because the game itself is fun. Make the ads less intrusive, or make a paid ad-free version, please!

I've played over 30k games on this app and it seems to be getting buggier. Twice in the last few weeks I have had to reach out to tech support because finished games would not clear from my current games. Also, I am getting kicked out of every match at 15 seconds in, and I have to resume play manually. I've made tech support aware of the glitch, but as of today it's still happening. It's still the best Boggle app I can find. I still wish there were new boards, even if it's only once every 6 mos.

Love this game, but update after update introduces new glitches. This past week, I have games starting on their own. I will have played one round with a person. Next thing I know, I am in the middle of a second round game. I never started the game, never got a chance to select power ups, and the clock is partially through the game. Aggravating. UPDATE: This issue was resolved for a while and is happening again.

I really, really love this game. But the app is horrible. At least 1 of every 3 tournament games I play, the app freezes in the middle of a round, forcing me to close out and lose my place in the tournament. I've noticed the active player count in tournaments is way down, and I'm sure it's because people have gotten fed up and just given up on the app. It's a shame.

I like this app and the games are fun and addicting. I do not like the scoring. Players can use freezes, inspiration and others to increase their score. If I only use one freeze and my opponent uses a freeze, mega freeze, spin etc... their odds of winning increase exponentially. Each player should have the option to match extras with the other player. Not a very "fair" game.

The past few months, game will freeze, & the only solution is to close app & reopen the app. It subracts time from my round, usually 20-30 seconds. It happens every day, & a lot of the friends I play with are having the same problem. This has been going on for a long time...how long does it take to fix this glitch?!

12/8/23 uminstalling this game. The lag is extremely frustrating and unplayable. Maybe when its fkxed i will come back. I love this game but after the last update, there is a lag when trying to create a word. I find I have to delay on each letter in order for it to register. It's not playable anymore. I will end up Uninstalling if it doesn't get fixed soon.
