BookFunnel

No options to; have it read aloud to, so I can listen+read. Not able to categorize/organize my books. Not able to highlight or Annotate/ make notes on it.Can't make it to scroll up, only allows swipping. Hard to get into a book without smooth/good transition in page. Only accepts a few formats not all. I only really use it to get access to books I can't otherwise. I am just going to leave it at that, there can definetly be more than a few improvements on it.

It's not a terrible app, but it has a bad habit of rearranging my books out of the order I put them in. If it didn't do that or seem to glitch, sometimes when I have to exit out of it and enter it again, that would be welcome. Some more options for organization and customization would be appreciated, especially if you could choose where the downloads go. Also, why does it not sync across devices?

you usually can't get to your list of books but it does exist, I've been there. Opening the app takes you straight to the download code page. I try to reset my password but it says I have the wrong email, the same one it just accepted. I can't find any access to customer service. There are lists of books available for free but getting there is next to impossible. If I have a link it usually works but frequently not. The app sucks for the reader. There is lots of support for writers

Isn't a bad app for reading books but they don't give many options....at least that I have been able to find or easily access. I wish they would let you highlight books and take notes as I review for work and take notes while reading. But they have been the easiest way for me to download books, especially reading when offline. Once you download you don't have to wifi hookup to do it again (Amazon, ugh, for ex does that with some). I really wish bookfunnel would put some better functions

Works very well! I downloaded this to read books on my Kindle app, books I'm getting through a non-Amazon book club. At first the books didn't show up in Kindle, but I followed BookFunnel's very clear suggestions, and all has worked well. I've had trouble with one book, but BookFunnel's customer service has been quick and helpful, and the problem resolved. I highly recommend this app!

I have trouble reading small print, and the app does not enlarge print size, only space between the lines. Sometimes, I read a new word, but I have to stop reading, open a dictionary app, and look it up. It would save time and be less distracting if I could just highlight the word and find out what it means. I like everything else about it.

Something is seriously wrong with the app. I tried to read a novel to review: each chapter was less than 1 paragraph long (a few were blank) and there was no connection between scenes. I finished in ~3 minutes. Then I went to book funnel online and found the rest of the book's text. It seems like the app just gave me the first paragraph of each chapter. But none of the buttons in the app did anything and there was nothing to click on inside the chapters to get to the rest of the text.

For the most part, this is a really good app. So why 2 stars? If I am outside, my phone adjusts to light accordingly, but if I am on BookFunnel ,I can't adjust the light to read because of the app running in the background. This is very annoying as the weather is getting warmer & it is nice to be outside. For this reason I am considering uninstalling the app as my enjoyment is limited to staying inside.

Downloaded this for a specific book series, but it's becoming more trouble than it's worth. The app keeps pausing randomly, or even closing altogether while I'm in the middle of listening. I will not be sear hing for more books in this app, still deciding whether to keep just for the ones I have. Can't find anything as far as troubleshooting, either.

Reading in this app and changing page appearance no problem. Problem, having to reset every time you open your book. Example: I prefer to read with a black background and white lettering. I have to reset these preferences every time I open the book. Can you highlight favorite passages or take notes? No If you open the book in a different app then those functions are available through that app. My one wish is that when you open the app it would open to the library instead of enter code page.

Well, I'm sorta just writing this, hoping they'll reach out and fix my problem. I'm trying to login to get a book that was linked to my account but they keep saying "your new here let's send you an instant password" and I never get the email so I can never log in. If I can't get in the app or the website, I can't even collect a book I've been waiting on.

Used to be great, now not so much! This used to be a seamless app that worked in conjunction with email and other apps. Just use the link, go back to what you were doing. Since the latest update, I can't even close it without closing everything else. The back button doesn't work it just sits there. And I have to instruct it to put my book in my kindle, instead of it automatically doing it as it used to. Crazy! Please go back to previous version! It was awesome, and I'll give it 5 stars again!!

I only downloaded this app because it was the only way to get the audiobook of an author i enjoy. And I would never use it again if I had another option this app fails on every possible level it has flaws that I did not even realize were possible until I experienced them on here. Audio books do not play correctly the app refuses to close progress is not saved there are so many problems I literally do not have enough characters to outline them. App has bugs I did not know what possible.

The program works great. The greatest thing since sliced bread! I cannot tell you how many GREAT books I have been given for free by authors. It allows you to read many different genres of books to see if you like them. It let's you try early books of authors and realize that you want to read every thing they every write, great program!!!!!

4 days, several tries in app and on computer, and an email to help, still haven't received a password/validation email to create an account and access the books I bought through Facebook (yes I checked the spam folder too. Nothing there either). This app sucks. I guess I have to go to the authors of the books I purchased days ago and request refunds which I probably won't be able to get because they're digital. So about $50 wasted to learn this app is garbage.

Very clunky app. I purchased a book/audio book combination because I learn faster when I listen while I read. But the app only allows one of them to be opened at a time. I can't download either the book or the audio, because it says they can only be opened in the app. So I can't play the audio in a separate app while reading the book in this one. I won't be getting any more books on this app. it's borderline useless to me.

It works but needs improvement. It works well enough to consume audiobooks and I've not had any trouble getting access to my books. The problem is that it doesn't integrate well with Android Auto as the app is not recognised as being in use when Android Auto is running. So if I try to use the back and forward buttons on my car, it will think I want to go back or forward in the last Android Auto app I was using. Needs Android Auto integration.

Serious disadvantages for listeners. The quality of the product is quite good and I support the idea of authors being able to deliver audio books without Amazon. But. You can only listen to the books on the book funnel app which is not compatible with Android Auto or car players. The result is having to use phone controls instead of the built in hands free of most modern csrs.

Lost stars for two main reasons. 1. First book I bought freezes at the seven second mark. Seems to randomly effect books, though always freezes at the same spot on any given book. Only fix is to skip the chapter or restart the app. 2. No Android Auto integration. Update: if anyone else is having the issue mentioned above, try removing the audio book from device and re-downloading. Not changing start rating though. App shows books downloads complete even if they have been interrupted.

The best app ever invented I do not go out much, and reading has always been my passion. With the touch of the screen I can get my book up on front of me and you can set the font ro whatever size suits you plus the backstreet colour can be changed. The app holds a multitude of books but the one you might be looking for in your bookfunnel library can be found in seconds. I have more books in my library than I will live to read but I'm always up for a challenge. I love bookfunnel. So easy to use
