Booking. com hasn't steered me wrong yet, and I've used them for years. Just earned a big discount on a hotel in New Orleans and saved at least $200 over what the EXACT SAME ROOM would have cost on other sites or even going direct through the hotel. I literally spent 2 hours looking for deals everywhere else, but ended right back at here for my best deal. Recommend it to anyone.

I have been using Booking for years and always had a great experience. The customer service was great. If I had a problem, I could just call and resolution was fast and easy. Most recently, I had an issue with extra fees which weren't advertised. I called customer service, and it was an Ai agent. It refused to transfer me to a person, would not help me, and repeatedly hung up on me. I got no resolution and I'll be deleting the app. I won't be back to this platform.

never using Booking again. they are quick to take your money and will disappear when you attempt to request a cancellation. Called 3 times and had to wait over 20 minutes each time only to get lied to or hung up on and got the run around. Its reasons like this that people do not want to use 3rd party reservation platforms any longer. they "emailed" the property for approval while I was on the phone. called the property hours later and they never received. seriously. dont use them.

I used to book with the app almost exclusively. The app originally used to show total price including taxes and fees. Now, I can't even do that before booking - no option to do so. During reservation it shows additional amount not included on the app, but I have to add that amount myself. What a hassel! I was forced to use other booking apps more because they have the option for me to see total price in search results, which ended up with me booking with this App less and less.

absolutely nothing in the app works. No matter what I try to open, I'm just met with an endless blank loading page. I haven't been able to do ANYTHING from the app so far. I've tried connecting to 2 different wifi networks, I've tried using my mobile data, but nothing changes. Every time I try on my browser, I just get redirected to this useless app. Update: I updated the app and it still doesn't work. However, if you open the website as a "desktop site", it stops redirecting you to the app!

I used to like this application until I had a problem with a flight and had to change and cancel. Basically no support, at none that could really help. their fidelity scheme isn't worth it as well, they count as booking, doesn't matter how much you pay. it was good while it lasted. Maybe it's good for searching, not for buying.

I made a reservation for about 6K. In the confirmation email you sent, I saw a total price of 6K and also a payment amount of almost 12K, which wasn't clear to me. So, I tried to reach your customer service, waited more than 24 hours (as it was written in your automatic message), but no response. I didn't have a choice but to cancel my reservation. I guess it's time to move to another platform. Made a new reservation with Agoda (no strange amounts), and in the end, it was slightly cheaper.

the price guarantee is false. I booked a room internationally for one price; however, when I got there, I was charged another 77 dollars more. I had the choice to cancel the room, but I would have to find a hotel that night at 7pm when I arrived. they said the confusion was an error on the website. I know some people may think I did something wrong, but the hotel site said booking did something wrong. they offered me a free cancelation after the point of free cancelation.

For years this has been our go-to app for travel. On the rare occasion we needed help we called and were satisfied. Now we get an AI assistant who cannot help. We booked months ago, paid in full and 1 week before arrival we were notified it is cancelled. Both parties say to contact the other regarding a refund. I tried to use the app to book an alternative and it won't let me because I've already booked those dates! AI may someday replace humans in these jobs, but it isn't up to it yet.

You can't talk to a human anymore. I made a flight, hotel and car rental booking and I couldn't see my booking in the app. I tried calling, but all you deal with is a AI bot that goes around in circles. I tried to e-mail, but again it is only standard automated responses. So frustrating. Closing my account now. Companies just don't care anymore. Everything to save money. Very disappointing. It's not possible to submit a review. Second time in last 10 says when I try to submit a review, I get stuck in a loop. I give rate and add pros and cons, photo, and click submit, but it takes me again to review page. Then I do it again, but get in the loop instead of submitting. At the end I managed just to give score number. I asked help to edit it, to add description, but no help.

It is a good app until a problem comes up. Customer support is a joke. CS local numbers do not work. Sending messages is useless. If you call them, they will say they'll call you back and will never call. A hotel shared my data with another hotel without consulting or informing me. The second hotel messaged me through WhatsApp out of the blue as if I had a reservation with them. They never used the messaging function of the booking app. I reported it to the app, and nothing was done about it.

EDIT: A few weeks later and my messages still are not working! Contacting a living person working for Booking for help is either not possible, or obscured by layers and layers of automatic answers which I really have no time to go through. For a long long time I am unable to view messages. Even on the other phone, it is impossible. I get email notifications, i see 5 new messages in the app, but no chats are showing.

App is mostly fine. Booking is great. Emailed them to say there's a bug when searching in reviews of any hotel I look at, it reloads the previous page, and CS just send me generic, sorry you can't make your booking, or what is your booking details, which I think is irrelevant seen as it does it as I'm browsing. So yeah, decent app when there isn't bugs.

I've been quite happy until now with the app. Navigation is not always easy and sometimes you have to redo the filtering few times but it's really no big deal. But recently it's impossible to run the app, as soon as I try to open it it directly close. I un-installed and reinstalled few times and no changes. ( it has been fixed thanks )

Really helpful app for booking holiday, mine was a touring holiday, so needed different accommodation each night and this app worked well to keep it all in one place. I would have given 5*, however I was expecting to be asked to rate all of my bookings, but I have only been asked to rate 1 place. I therefore had to go on Google and rate the others, as most were excellent (despite being cheep), whilst another place was overpriced and poor quality, but I have not been able to state this on the app

Payment was successful, confirmed by the property owner. But it wasn't done by them, but external payment provider. Now the app says my card was declined, and that I need to update info or risk losing the reservation. Since it wasn't booking the one that took the money, I don't want to do this so they don't bill me twice. I contacted customer service chat, no response after 24h. Horrible. EDIT: Had to call customer service, they told me I must update so the reservation is not autocancelled.

While app booking process is pretty easy, finding and checking acommodations is cumbersome. Removing ability to filter out dorms (in hostels or hotels), persistently across searches, was really a bad decision. Chats from the property manager (e.g. initial info) are invisible, user is not notified if messages are sent, one needs to look at it actively ("start chat"). Generally getting to the useful info (address, contact, ...) is super user-unfriendly. Property descriptions regularly misguiding.

many things are OK, but one feature just spoils everything in terms of car rental. I am referring to the fact that the car rental part displays the rules in the local language. I mean, what's the idea booking, to display the rules of car rental in Arabic to a user that does not speak Arabic? and there is absolutely no way to change this. what's the point of registering with all the personal data if you then display the contract clauses in an alien language?

Our flight changed and apart from the terrible customer service, through chat and phone, the application still (3 months after the trip) demonstrates only the details of the initial canceled flight! The same with the taxi services (part of the booking), we chatted, they reassured us they updated pick-up and never showed up. Funny thing neither the taxi driver was informed by the application and went to the pick-up spot on time for the canceled flight arrival! Unreliable!
