Hopefully, it will be an easier way of getting all my books into one place, mostly I got it for the scanner, but it has some cool features. I'm not sure it'll do what I want, which is to export a list of my library. Im confused by the notification time. I wound up getting rid of the notifications, but now I get an annoying pop-up every time I use the app, telling me the permissions were denied. No change in ratings. Not sure about export capabilities yet.
I pay for the yearly membership but I am STILL having issues. When I try to delete books from the list, they always show back up a few hours after deleting. I'll hit "finish" on a book and rate it, but then it just comes back as "to read" or "reading" again the next day. I have had the app and paid for the membership for over a year now, but because of these issues, I am seriously thinking about cancelling my membership and uninstalling the app. Kinda disappointed.
I only browsed the app for a little bit after downloading, so I didn't use all the features. I do not think it is fair to have a 10 book limit for adding to your past/current books read. I will just keep using Goodreads & Libib, as all my currently owned/read/tbr books are stored there. The calendar feature and reminders seem neat, but even if I only start with the book im currently reading, I would only be able to get to 10 books. My goal this year is 52.
I love it so far!! you do have to purchase a subscription to use it at all and there are still ads sometimes. it's only annoying when they glitch out and you are stuck in a seemingly never-ebding ad loop, but you just have to exit the app and pull it back up and it will move forward. I like that it does half stars on the ratings for books too!
It has some decent features.. but I paid for the yearly and still didn't use it after like April of last year. Its so annoying to literally go to the app to start a timer everytime I read. Then it would be inaccurate because I would fall asleep reading so it never seemed to be accurate. I can track books on goodreads for free and honestly it didnt have many benefits. im really tired of everything having a price and then still not being worth it once you do pay. I did not renew my subscription
the free version (only one I've used) is good for tracking books. I don't use all the features, but the ones I have used are not super user friendly you can still figure it out by inputting things and then deleting them. So no biggie there. Also you cannot finish a book on a previous day. If you forget to log it and then "finish" it at a later date it won't let you change the date. I don't like having the stars and cover on my calendar on a different day, But that's just a personal preference.
A week in, I like it, but it's a learning curve. I think it'll grow on me, once I get used to having to set the timer when I sit down to read. Jan 26, 2026 Edited to add ..dropping from a 4 to really a 2.5. Added the app to my tablet as well (so now on 2 devices), synced in the cloud, and now I can ONLY use my tablet for tracking. Nothing syncs to my phone. Tried logging out and back in, and now there is NO data when I open the phone app. Everything is on my tablet.
Love it but have some opinions. I purchased pro with some higher hopes. I cannot access any other ambient sounds other than the "Light Rain." I haven't received any book suggestions. (I have about 10 books entered now that I've read with the app.) I wish there was an option for in-app friends/book clubs. I don't use Discord. Other than these three minor things, the app is great!
This wasn't worth the download. You can't upload your library with a max of 10 books! Unless you want to pay for it. I liked that you can track time you've read but I'll stick with Fable, Library Thing, Goodreads and Storygraph who all offer stats and library/tbr tracking with adequate FREE options. Honestly, this app was really annoying too with ads on every page it was hard to navigate to even get it set up.
I love this app SO much but found a bug when tracking time using percentages. Normally I track by pages but I have an eBook that only has percentages (only using this until I get the physical copy). Once I end a reading session, I enter the % and the app just crashes, doesn't save. I open the app AFTER force stopping and it starts a new session. It's unusable now unless I uninstall. Besides that I love everything about it! I paid for Pro. PLEASE fix this
I really like this app and being able to see what I've actually read has so far really helped me get back into reading. one thing I will say which is also just a personal mental thing is that if you read without the app you must keep your own time of how long you read which can be tedious if you just want to sit down and read for a bit without the statistical worried
I really love the app, but there are still some bugs. The dates are still wrong on the infographics, as well as the reports (even when you choose the dates). However, with today's update the cover pictures are at the bottom of the report again. They did add new costumes today, but they're all Halloween themed. They also added a feature to chat with Bloo, for 50 diamonds each question, so I'm hesitant to try that. (I am a pro member)
**edited since new update came out: so thankful for the option to now add characters!! one thing that I wish was possible was that you could add the same character to multiple books (like for the same series) like maybe add a copy & paste character button type thing. so you could still have a full character list without re-adding everything yourself. otherwise, I love this app and it's the best books tracking app I've found!
I like the user friendliness and overall appearance of this compared to other reading apps I've used, even Libby, which most people in the reading community see as the guild standard. I bought the year plan after using it a few weeks and I'm glad I did. I normally don't pay for apps but I will make an exception when I really love it and think the creators should be supported. Anyways, yes you should get this app. it is very usable as the free version, but paying does offer cool features.
Remind me not to renew my subscription for the next year. I love that this app tracks my reading and the books I read, but it's not the same as the iOS version as my sister said that version doesn't give her issues. I can't add new vocabulary and quotes as I read. I also really dislike that the app likes to not give me diamonds when I watch ads as it restarts to the starting amount at times. There was only one time where I didn't have issues there out of dozens. It could be better.
I really really like this app. I use this to make goals for myself, like yearly amount of books I want to read, hourly goals for the day and month. Overall, its really good other than the constant ads for paying for the app popping up everytime I get into it, which I don't mind. I like that it let's you log out of the app or turn your phone off and still count your time.
I LOVED this app on iOS. when I switched to android I was disappointed to see that my data wouldn't be able to transfer over. still, the app works fine. my biggest gripe, is that I wish I could just put what page I was on instead of having to count the amount I read for that day. I know it's small, but I don't understand why that's a feature missing on android.
Elite Tool for the Disciplined Reader Bookly is the ultimate system for readers who treat reading like a craft, not a hobby. I use it to track time, set goals, and extract key insights from every book I touch. Real-time stats, visual reports, and collection management make it a powerhouse for TBR execution and personal growth. A must-have for self-learners, scholars, and high-performance thinkers.
I really like the app, but there are several bugs, some of them major. I like being able to track reading time on each book. I like the breakdowns of each book you read. However, everytime I try to generate a report for any length of time, the app automatically crashes. If the app is closed and reopened, I have to go and restore purchases to get access to my premium perks, everytime. Also, the achievements do not properly track books when they are completed in app.
I love this app so much! It helped me read so many more books than I have before. I love how you can add books so easily, but the one thing that I do is not being able to organize the books. I can see the books but I can't organize them to like a series. It also was duplicating half of my books, and whenever I tried to delete them, it would take both books away. I mean, I love the app. I just wish those things could be added/fixed.
