Books and Audiobooks

I love audio books. I found some of my childhood favs on here. I do still have the books, but I can listen to them while I do chores. I am trying to sort and downsize bc i want to move to a Tiny House in Spring 2025. Have been wanting one for a while now. This makes the chores & process less daunting & less stressful. Also, this app and most books seem to be free.

Best audiobook app I have found recently. Give all the appreciation for the developers. However, I wish it could simultaneously play audio while automatically change page for me. Also, I think an offline version will be the best, since we can use this app on car or where we can't find Internet connection. Still, I want to thank the developers again. Wish you guys achieve far more in the future.

If you've been listening to LibriVox audio books on YouTube but were missing the "read along" experience because you didn't have a copy of the material with you, this is the application for you! The LibriVox Community has put together a most excellent collection of talented readers and I am sure you will enjoy the selection of novels, poems and short stories found here. My favorite feature is the option to download audio and/or text versions of the materials.

Nothing works! I can't find any book, even the most popular ones. It just shows nothing. I don't understand it is my phone or why doesn't any audiobook app show anything on my phone? And plus it has too many ads. I mean I opened the app, and I have 4 ads straight!! Sorry guys buts it's a little annoying. I just want to listen to some books😢

I like the app because i love classic literature and most of them are in the app but i think they could expand the book genres, maybe some self development aswell.my issue is that the app would not work without internet connection and whenever i travel with metro, the audio cuts off which is quite annoying since i downloaded the app because i wanted to listen to books on metro to avoid people staring at me while im reading a book!i wished it could just download the whole book and work everywhere

I have installed this app 2 times before. Everytime it eventually stops working. I am to uninstall and install it again and again. Now, I am going to install it for 3rd time. It's a brilliant app for both reading and listening the books at a time but this one problem make it inefficient. Hope you will fix this problem. Thank you.

Although I have been listening to previous studied classics I can say not only as a professor but also as a writer I am impressed and satisfied with what I have listened to. Nevertheless, I must admit the selection of titles is quite limited and somewhat lacking a broader selection of more modern masterpieces.

Some of the readers are too hard to listen to but there are enough good and even excellent ones to choose from. I mostly listen while I work and a poor reader is a distraction where as a good reader allows for a comfortable atmosphere for focus.

Why do people expect the latest books to be free? This app has lots of great free books. Listen up people, you won't get the NY Times Best Sellers. Writers do not give their books away free. You will get exactly what the app says. Books whose copyrights have expired and are now in the public domain. So of course you can find them other places and on other apps. This app is easier to use than any I have tried.

Love this app but some of the volunteer readers are hard to understand & there's some noise interference on some of the recordings. I do love that you can follow along and read while listening. By far one of the better audio books around!

Frankly speaking, this app isn't quite good at all because when I begin using it, it stops at a point and keeps long before it works again. It can take a day or two to come back to it's normal state. There are also somethings I need which I don't get. Although it is a little bit helpful, it should be checked adequately and improved upon if you should ask for my opinion

Just press play button and let the voice guide you,in lots of interesting title's... it's great experience (at least it's good for your eyes 👀) and this is one of the better app's of that kind,without any bad issues or problems,and books are with good narrator and translation,the things that are very important for good understanding and good app!

This is the best app if you are lazy to read. It makes you want to know what happens in the story. Your pronunciation improves as you hear the words being read. I would definitely recommend you install it! Novels at times may be boring to read but this app makes reading entertaining.

I truly love this App!! As a nurse I have a few patient that are unable to read to themselves anymore and they just love hearing old stories they heard as a child plus anything that strike's their mind or interest. I Thank all the reader's I would go into names but I'll let everyone else decide for themselves. I also enjoy a story on the way home from a long day to unwind. I love that my young adult children enjoy this app as well as the grandbabies LOVE when I read the text version.

Four ads before even starting the book, wow. Not to mention that it took forever to load more books to chose from and then they wouldn't at all. Tried restarting app, boosting phone, etc. But the ads are just too much, that's pretty aggressive.

Very good and I love it also the voice of speaker is suitable and really nice, man or woman. but not easy to work there is no page number and there is no mark liner But Google play has had this ability. There is no page mark. As vital issue I should tell that there is no compatibility between sound and text. If you lost the line so it is very hard to find. But I as a free app it is an briliant application and very help ful

Terrible. Tried to read and listen to "Alice's adventure" - the audio starts from chapter 1 but the text starts from chapter 5 and you can't find the chapter 1! The same situation is with any book about Sherlock Holmes. Any your move is followed by ads. Don't waste your time!

Absorbing the contents of audio books through audio is a wonderful way to enjoy and grasp a good book. I recommend audio books to people who love to listen to a good story it's so much more better than reading. It makes it enjoyable to read a book through listening and much faster to finish a book.

The reader does justice to his work. I suggest a correction on one particular thing, that the reader has no pause. Once you stop, get ready to start afresh! ... Please adjust the speakers to honour a pause.

great app great selection, read yourself, read along, or just relax, listen, and enjoy. very few adds which you don't even have to sit thru hit x and move along so they're not even noticable, and i seriously hate adds and delete all apps with any normally. anyway back to my book, enjoy! 😎
