Boost Config

I just dropped Boost for good. I've had their service for almost 3 years. About 2-2 1/2 months ago, I started getting error messages, that my SIM wasn't registering, or that it wasn't compatible for my phone account. I called several times, even bought a new phone, which I was scammed to pay a lot more than getting the upgrade. Didn't realize it until a few days later. I called again. They kept saying, it's showing that the phone is working from our end, and in the middle of several calls, poof!

Worst service I have ever had. For the last week, all 3 of my lines have not been able to use our data. We've only been able to use calling and texting. I tried to speak to customer service and was "troubleshooting " with a complete fool. Either I continue paying for junk service that I can't use, or find a new service provider. I am going with option 2. Do NOT waste your money!

Useless, same as Boost. I can't get the data part to work, their so called tech support can't figure it out (pretty sure they know the carries is worthless, but they need the job). When I asked for a refund, they told me that would cancel my account, and I would lose my number. When asking to port my number, I was given a phone number to call, which no one answers. Worst experience ever. RUN AWAY!

Troubleshooting with "customer service" is complete dogmatic trash. One dummy to the next. Indian "Engrish" is as cloae to English as you are going to get. Never seen such incompetence. They could not find the APN settings to work with the phone. Used it in a Samsung phone and it worked after restarting. 🤷‍♂️

don't think this app works correct on my phone because my phone rings but i can't answer phone calls & after 10 almost 11 years of being a boost mobile customer i am thinking of dropping the service. also the lazy guy at the Belleville illinois boost mobile store rather eat and text people then actually help me and in almost 2 hours i was the only customer there

It's clear from the comments that I'm not the only one experiencing data issues. I've been paying for this phone for two months, and I haven't been able to use it at all. It's frustrating that there hasn't been a fix, especially given how many others are facing the same problem.

cannot use wifi calling. customer service is terrible. I got transferred three times and was hung up on each time after waiting on hold for twenty minutes each. no ability to solve the issue.

How many of these WiFi apps does one phone need I've got a couple from Boost, Google, Android, & the T mobile app (was pre installed) wt.. why?? UPDATE 11/2025: 💥💥AFTER 15+ years, all the $$/month, 9 phones, various add-ones, and go ahead adding my family after first few years (6 accounts) ⚖️ They're willing to lose me as a customer b/c <$20. Last month i made 2 payments by mistake, but Boost agreed cover this month. Sat. called to verify, but after few mins they flipped..$18.65 🔌

I am trying to activate by downloading. This app appears installed in Google play, but isnt anywhere in app list. It doesn't appear to work, because the instructions to connect do not appear when I restart.

August 22, 2025 This failed last time. Not paying my phone due to economy. Let's see if I keep my wifi? Update August 30, 2025 Lost wifi calling. Boost config info online states that app is the one that allows wifi calling without an active plan. One week ago, it was a yes. Today, NOPE. I had this phone for five months. Just found out today when I tried wifi calling.....it failed Again. Boost config is a lie. According to my update time frame...active plan is a MUST

this was never installed on my phone it was supposed to be my network for my data but it never worked so they gave me AT&T 8 stead

Never has the internet,a been piece junk. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone especially if you live in Gilmer TX 1 bar showing & even 5 bars showing,constantly losing internet,not sending messages all the time,lost & dropped calls, app not worth purchasing,beware unless you like getting ripped off?

This app is supposed to help with connectivity to mobile network. WHY THE HECK WOULD THIS APP NEED ACCESS TO MY CONTACTS AND THE ABILITY TO MODIFY AND DELETE CONTACTS AND SOME OTHER UNNECESSARY PERMISSIONS😠.🥸😈 TRACKING APP,BLOATWARE,MALWARE. THIS APP IS A BACKDOOR WHICH GIVES ACCESS TO HACKERS AND VIRUSES

rotten to the core. now it deleted the APN that took me 3 days with customer service to get my phone to work for 15 with AT&T cell towers then off for 15 minutes. AT&T won't have all of the spectrum they bought from Echostar/Dish/Boost until mid 2026...the least Boost could do is unlock this phone early so it will work natively with AT&T which us only thing available in most rural areas. sucky customer service!

I haven't been able to make calls with my boost service at all and my data conks out very often and when it does my signal fully drops and my phone says emergency calls only. And when I try to make a call it won't even ring it'll just say Carrier unable to make calls or something like that. My phone calls can't come in and I can't place any out. Boost has gone downhill and I'm sick of it. And they keep telling me to update this app and it does nothing. Worst phone company ever.

honestly these people have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. I bought two lines, they set up three. they refused to give my money back and gave me in-store credit. I decided to cancel my service. the tablet I bought would not even access the internet from home. they told me they would unlock my tablet. when I did not receive the email I called back, then they told me I would have to wait for a year. then they told me to go to the store where I bought it. Pissed off!!!

horrible apps, bad reception, & even worse customer service. it's like talking to a braindead child trying to accomplish anything with your account.

boost mobile downloaded on to my phone to fix my mobile data. didn't work. I'm Uninstalling going to drop boost if they don't fix soon been a customer for yrs.

Didn't h3lp fix the issues with my phone at all! I've been with Boost for 7 years and now all of sudden I'm having problems receiving and sending texts, my calls drop unexpectedly, as well as missed calls. My phone was perfectly fine a week ago, now I'm having all these problems. If you don't don't fix the issues soon I'm going to another phone service!!!

This app just appeared on my phone and it will NOT uninstall... It's been over a year and I can't get rid of it... I don't have Boost mobile or Dish Network so I really really don't want it on my phone... No response from the developers so I assume it's just bad... I have it disabled but I even have to re-disable it every so often... I think the whole app is a fake but Idk... What I Do know is that it takes up a Lot of storage space so I'd like to know how to get rid of it... If possible...
