Brave Browser (Beta)

Good, the media playhead in the background actually can be moved around & does keep moving when audio plays in the background. Ever since I updated to Android 14, it was gltiching out in Brave. Good job! Hopefully the glitch doesn't return. this version of Brave seems better. I just need to reload the video now or bring the playhead to the start of a video's duration and let it play or rewind the video a bit to fix it.

It does exactly what it says it does. And it does it very well. I got so used to not seeing needless ads that when I use any other web browser, I instantly feel the difference. Only one complaint, though. It works so well that when I click a link that takes me to the YouTube website, even the video won't show me ads. But because of how the website works, you sit and watch a black error screen until Brave skips the ad for you.

5 star for Desktop (Computer App) Private browser that seems to works well. Stops and Blocks trackers and the loading of lots of ads. Some Ads but not intrusive. I think it is fast in loading. Like in on my computer. Best not to enable browser extensions and just use the Brave Browser on your computer. I hate being tracked! Brave is a chrome browser. I am still working on the phone app and need to get use to where to find all the settings. It has its own security that only allows verified websites (https) to load to secure your search and "Brave Shields" for security too. Hopefully the phone app will work out as well as the desktop app. I will have to get back to you on that phone app rating.

It takes an adjustment period switching from Chrome browser but surprisingly enough the ads that they present seem to present a genuine amount of information regarding the product there advertising and I find myself bookmarking most of them in order to delve a bit deeper into them later on. At times one could even forget they're getting paid to do it! 5 stars!

The settings syncing is just terrible. I'm having a hard time upgrading from the base version because of the syncing. It has few settings, and it's unclear which device is the primary syncing device.

Well, I've given this app and it's main one a good shot. There is just way too much wrong. It overrides your main browser. It closes your open tabs regardless of settings, it continually opens a new tab on launch, regardless of settings, the player becomes unresponsive when the screen is turned off. It's just a headache that I've spent way too much time trying to find workarounds for. It's not worth it.

Leo AI and brave browser are amazing... I'm tired of sponsored ads when I specifically type in a brand I'm searching for. so often Google gives me sponsored results before specific searches which shows they care more about profit then about information. I also see media bias when searching Google for things. BRAVE browser has relevant results every time so I've changed my default browser finally

I've been using Brave for a long time, but after the last update, it's getting a bit hard to use. The video playback in the background is not working. I need to switch to desktop mode to use it, or if I'm using the beta version, it doesn't let me click on the loop on YouTube or go to the homepage.

Nice browser. A feature I would like to see is top level menu access to quickly delete cookies and browsing data without having to wade through the settings layers. with that, I would give it 5 stars.

it's really good, but can improve. Some unwanted scripts, videos and ads pass it's filter and Google translator integration doesn't always work. Sometimes browser controls disappear and browser freezes, maybe due low memory on my phone, but still this is an issue. Otherwise, it's a really smooth ride with Brave, best browser I've had so far.

Generally great browser I would recommend. in fact I have recommended it to multiple people who are annoyed by the sheer volume of ads on YouTube. anywho, it would be great to see a feature which allows you to fully block specific urls as well as being able to disable annoyances which users may not need such as light/dark mode, history, and incognito functions.

brave blocks a lot of your incoming that I need to get together now 🤝🤜🤛👍🫶🤝👍✅🦻🤝 this app keeps the wolves away from you and gives you time figure it out shields up shields down is the key to success in the office tomorrow so we can meet up with my friends who are interested in my phone never worked rite but now I have no idea what time I will be available all day for this app getting it is been a good experience I actually have no idea what to be ready to use recommend it done thank u

overall ver good im back to brave after a year and I'm impressed by the vast features but right now I'm facing a issue I can't see youtube language change or audio track option in mobile mode while watching video's until I switch to desktop mode

needs easier way than sync to import passwords from other browsers, ideally ability to import from .csv file, sync is buggy and unusable as just will not sync, as as yet not found away to make it work, bookmarks can be transferred from file, passwords not possible. hence 4 stars, but functionality is great, by far best mobile browser, but password transfer is a real let down.

If there's one thing that would make this browser perfect is if it could go proper full screen. Meaning, if the notification bar on top of the screen could also be hidden, then it'd be absolutely perfect, instead of how it currently sits on top, like a black bar.

add the audio change option in YouTube when in mobile view. it will be very Helpful for the users. the audio change option is only in dextop mode not in mobile view.

Massive memory leaks that brick my phone. There's no reason a browser with six tabs should be using up several gigs of RAM.
