It seems to be just like the original Brave, but it works great. I only gave 4 stars however because just as the original Brave, it lacks the ability to import or export bookmarks, or to sync. I spent literally hours trying to get the answer from anywhere online. I believe it is a GitHub issue. Leo AI is great, especially because even if you type of search into the search bar, Leo pops up automatically so you can also use Leo to find.information. Very convenient.
It needs a way more improved bookmark organization system. You're at the mercy of a randomized nonsense unordered list for your folders that can't be edited, organized, or made to appear either alphabetically or in order by last use. Way too much scrolling and scanning to locate saved things. You also may not place a bookmark into more than one folder. The browser is great otherwise. But bookmarking is terrible. I will upgrade my review to 5 stars 100% if these vital features wind up happening.
can you please improve your "extreme lag performance when minimizing maximizing an installed web app". also fix its name showing the Apps Name not generic Web App... also why cant you apply chromes split view of webpage do it. also Retain the brave settings in the Sync. tiresome to sync when your settings does not update as well. thanks
Works better at times than the original brave browser at times, the wind vine option might need more info. on what it does as like myself it can change things within a website, so keep that in mind. A great and awesome browser, sometimes it stop playing when screen is off. Might be where I lost connection? I'm not sure, yet. Still good for trackers and other privacy issues other browsers face.
They finally fixed YouTube integration. Used to have to disable Shields to like or view comments. So we now get adblock, miniplayer, audio streaming when using another app or with the screen off, and the ability to set a shortcut to use YouTube (or any site) through Brave on the home screen - and no more broken interface preventing you from liking/disliking, commenting, or viewing comments. This was pretty much my only gripe with the app, so I guess it's perfect now.
Good alternative to the main brave app that started getting ads earlier this year. This browser blocks all ads or popups, even on YouTube. Works smoothly and is smaller size than your regular browser. I also installed it on my moms phone and she can use it easily and doesn’t accidentally tap on ads anymore. Thanks for the alternative to major browsers.
this app is quite good. honestly if your using stock android this is the best browser you can probably use. It has a lot options and makes YouTube on a phone actually useable. has solid defaults the reason why not five stare is because brave has a controversial history. So if you use this be aware of that but as of early 2026. Brave is probably the best in terms of open source android web browsers that focus on privacy without needing a custom android rom. I been a long time user though.
I like it on phone and desktop, the AI is alot better than google's one, the size to display the content fits nicely, but sadly when on youtube, as I have a fold 7 and for some reason the comments doesn't work when I'm watching youtube on my extended screen but can only see the comments when they are on the smaller screen.
I’ve been using Brave Nightly for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a great experience. Everything runs smoothly, and you can really feel the improvements compared to other options. It’s reliable, easy to use, and does exactly what it promises. I’m genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something dependable.
😡 downloaded this SOLELY because it blocked youtube's "are you still watching?" popup and allowed seamless, uninterrupted background play of youtube. today I'm getting the "still watching?" interruption. it wasn't appearing yesterday. undo whatever "update" broke this feature.
No issue found after several years of using it, on mobile and PC. The sync is fairly reliable, browser experience is fast enough and ad blocks work about 40% of the time, depending on the sites you visit.
Most likely the best browser on android, though it has two major downsides: - The adblocker needs some work, ublock origin on Firefox/Edge does a way better job. - A lot of useless features are turned on by default or clutter the UI, which makes the UX feel cheap, if I wanted a bloated UI edge already exist and has more features
ProtonPass does not work. Sometimes its fill in suggestion briefly appears and disappears. icons of web apps that are pinned to home screen look often framed wrongly or sometimes have just a letter on gray background instead of web icon. "Undo" banner for a closed tab stays up for too long and often blocks the control elements on the website underneath. change the duration for the visibility or allow for a swipe away gesture to dismiss.
Very good app but recently I encountered two big problem, first one is that there is no option of dark mode and another one is that I am unable to make google search by speaking as voice search option had been removed.plz, fix this major issue immediately.
like the new shred site data (also it being available while in private/incognito mode) feature , wish it was added to other versions of brave like desktop , default etc
so far i'm loving the experience, its very smooth and clean and boy i love the amount of ads it blocks, and it gives you the option to view them if you choose :)
What is happening with Brave when I visit websites? Creepy ads are popping up. I have been using Brave for years, and this never happened before, but it is happening now. Please provide a strong ad blocker and track blocker
Why even waste time worrying about accessibility if the pull to refresh "feature" can't be turned off? Nothing like filling out the same form 5 times
One of the best things I did in 2025 was finally moving to Brave. It's so light it runs even on my oldest laptop with dual core and 4GB RAM where I can comfortably watch YouTube. Because it blocks the bloat and spying.
The best browser I used, but some features like " *, #, ^ " which Firefox has, there aren't in Brave. If u could add and use that idea in Brave too, it'll get better. For example I would like to search in Bookmarks, so I type "* " in the search-bar and the search-bar will change (I mean it will not search in the web anymore. It only searches among bookmarks). Have a look at Firefox…
