The customer service is garbage. Usually happens when you farm your call centers to other countries. Was told I could go into a branch without a PIN and get cash back, then I tried it multiple times didn't go through. Then was told I could only work with certain institutions and of course they can't help you with a list or a recommendation. Then the 3rd time was told I needed a PIN when inside of an institution. Closed my account

Caution using this card. The company will often offer great rates then when you receive your card and information if you don't check it. They do change the rate. When you notice it after you make purchase or use the card they will close your account without notice and still request you pay full amount with the interest you didn't agree to. After that they keep hitting your credit report. Destroying your credit if you don't pay them. The amount they want.

This credit card and app is the "worst" payments take days, the app is never working. I constantly can't log in, and I am always deleting app and reinstalling. when I do make purchases it always locks my card for fraud. I have had to call multiple times to verify myself to ket a purchase go through. sorry but to many problems to use a this credit card.

THIS IS AN UPDATE!!!!!!! 22 FEBRUARY 2026. Garbage, unstable piece of junk app. After this update it just crash closes. It won't stay open long enough to make a payment, UPDATE, my payment is due, I can't even log in to pay it, all I get is, "it's not you, it's us, our team is working hard to get this fixed, of course you are, as long as you are charging me interest and you prevent me from logging in. Keep playing your games, that's all you are doing.

The card is not a problem. The app is! I am having so much issues using this app. I made payments and were never registered, causing late payments. I called so many times and the customer service representatives helped me fix/change the username, password and I still can't log in. Somehow, the information doesn't match. I have to constantly making calls to check on transactions and making payments. Edited:You asked me to respond in the "Secute message section" You realize that I can't sign in?

it works, but it constantly drops the biometric reading, so I have the passwords saved in Samsung pass, and it doesn't always take. terrible interface; should be able to log in once and see all bread financial accounts, NOT having different logins for each account. And one of the accounts I have through them cant be serviced via this app .

This is the WORST app. The navigation is terrible. There's only ONE option listed for you to make payments and it's linked to your account. You aren't given the option to pay using a debit card which can save the borrower & the lender time when processing transactions. If you're reading this review, make some user friendly adjustments to your app. And make sure you ACTUALLY put a contact number on there too. Some people still like to talk on the phone with a live representative.

2 cards saved on this app. Cannot switch from one card to the other! If I sign out of one card and sign into the other one, then when I try to sign back into the first card again, the biometric sign on won't work and it says login failed. But when you manually enter all your ID and password info, in the app it still says biometric login is enabled. But it's not working. Can you fix this issue?

1/17/26 Thought there would be updates and it might get better. NOPE! Still trash. Don't even bother with biometrics. The app doesn't remember the settings. I thought this would simplify paying my comenity cards. What a joke! Passwords don't work when the same password works on the website. Decides not to recognize bank accounts when the same info was used the previous month. It's time consuming to go to the different sites on my computer but it is way less frustrating than using this app!

Terrible app, worse customer service This app does not work well, it is super easy to set up, then will never let you log in again. Every store credit-card they service requires a separate login. I was finally able to log into ONE of my accounts, but it wouldn't allow me to use configured checking account to make a payment. when I spoke to customer service, the rep was rude and said I was the only one who had a problem, she had never heard of the issues I was facing.

The app seems okay, but I'm getting increasingly frustrated with my Bread Amex Cashback card. It just gets declined everywhere digitally! It got declined when trying to use it on Google Play Store here, it got declined when trying to add it to Dunkin Donuts app, and now it just got declined when trying to use Upside! The card is a PITA! Yes, the information is all correct. I have used many credit cards, none of this is new to me.

Can't connect to my Bread loan account. Despite that, when I go to log in through the website, it asks to redirect to this app every single time I log in. I don't understand why they would have split up apps for accounts that just exist to take payments. Extremely similar yet one has access and another does not. To be honest it seems like bread puts the least amount of effort into serving the customers who get financing loans. All their other platforms and sites seem way more polished.

How is this app even a 4*? The technology is frustrating. If you don’t have an account yet, be prepared for a challenge. Their system has a way of repeatedly saying your information is incorrect when you try to log into your account. You'll find yourself constantly trying to verify your identity ,and often unable to do so because text or email verification is unavailable. It's a very discouraging experience.

Cashback reward redemptions are not streamlined. Other than that, it's a normal credit card app. When the 'Statement Balance' is less than the rewards, you cannot redeem the rewards. It's strange! When I asked an earlier question on the app, I received a standard 'copy/paste' answer that was available online as well. Useless Customer Service.

this is not user friendly. many errors. for example saying that email is incorrect to mail statements, when it is correct. Another issue is when you are signing up for new password it says emails dont match. yep, they sure did. if I have a few different credit cards from the same issuer, on the app, why does every card need its own password? Great concept, but it needs tweaking!

In general works OK. But the huge problem, that the app absolutely does not work while I traveled out of the contry. The bank page also is not loaded with browser. I think for the same reason. Result-i was not able to pay my bill for 2 months. You are asking if I like this app. Neither the bank. Trust me: I will close this account as soon as I get back home and pay off my bills

Doesn't always work! I have this app because it has a couple of my cards on it and I *thought* it would be easier to use on my phone. I was wrong. You still have to have the code texted/emailed to you to log in. Worse yet, at least half the time it won't accept your payment form even though it's the same one that has been attached to the account for years! For instance, today, one card paid through the app, the other kept saying to check payment or add another. Actual website worked though.

As other reviewers have mentioned, I can't access my savings account through the app. It prompts to add a credit card to manage, which cannot be bypassed. It's concerning that a bank, especially an online-only one, would release an app version with such a glaring bug that prevents you from accessing your account, then not roll back or fix the issue for several weeks and counting. I am reconsidering whether I should be trusting them with any of my money.

Your latest update is awful. My statements are too pixelated to read, even when I zoom in; I could zoom in, but could not zoom out. And I got an error message when I tried to pay my bill because it's after 5 pm. (Don't we live in the digital age? Why are EFT payments restricted to standard business hours??) Basically, I'm annoyed & wish I could've skipped this update.

The app works fine if you only have one card with them. If you have more than one, then you can't use biometrics or stay signed in, so you have to constantly log out and log in to make payments, etc, making it no better than just using the website!! if they can't fix the problem of using multiple cards, passkey support would make this whole problem go away!
