I continue to use Bread Financial's high yield savings account because of its good APY rate. The only issue I have had is I changed my email address and updated it online. This apparently caused my account to go into a restricted state. I rarely log into my account so had no notification of this until weeks later when I happened to log in to check the interest rate. I think I should have received a text message or a phone call when this was done. Otherwise I have no complaints.

I'm sure the increased return on APY is not worth dealing with all the negatives of switching to this bank. Very minimal quality of life features in the app, like it was built in 2015. Very long holds they force onto your money, for the first month it's 10 days. After that, it's 5 days. So after 30 days you still have to wait the normal transaction time + the week long hold + the weekend before you can move, withdraw, or organize YOUR money. Pathetic, and embarrassing 🤷 stay away.

So far does everything I want it to. Only four stars though as it's very difficult to get back into initially adding a transfer account (or at least it was when I installed it) . You have to enter the account information, then verify a couple of deposits... But the deposits are not instant, so you have to exit the app and come back later, and I couldn't find any sort of 'pick up where you left off' option. However once that was done, scheduling transfers is easy and the balance is easy to find.

This banks is horrible. I want to pay my monthly bill. They make it very very difficult either with the app on my phone , laptop or by phone. Everytime I go on to sign the app tells me I can't get in To top it off they won't let you pay at BJ'S stores. I am going to pay balance in full and get rid of this card for good. They have a 1 star rating in Google. What a nightmare!!!!

I am fully aware that Comenity carries the credit cards for many department stores and other kinds of stores. It would be extremely helpful if you could create a portal with Comenity that you could access then add the accounts you have with the other stores in order to make it more efficient to use their cards and make payments on the cards. The development of the app is lacking a lot in this area and for the amount of money the credit card companies make, they need to step up their game.

Comenity's online service is the worst that I have ever experienced. I haven't been able to setup access to my account, Credit Card, pay online, etc... after numerous attempts with my smart phone, computer, and assistance over the phone with one of their technicians. I paid my balance the old way by check and mail. I will cancel the credit card (if that is even possible), or just cut it into pieces.

Since my NFL rewards visa was transfered from Barklay to comenity, I have not been able to access my account, either online or on this app! I set up the online account through the app when I got the new card, but since then, every attempt to sign in has failed. It tells me I have the wrong sign in info, and attempts to sign in with my account number and SSN also failed. I even tried to change my password, and was stopped multiple times with a technical "glitch"!!! I am just about ready give up

Practical, useful, and really great customer service, but mobile deposit is difficult and finicky. It can take several tries before the app will properly recognize and read a check even if you have good lighting and write everything you're supposed to. (Sometimes I even give up and try the next day.) The location of the option to external accounts is a little odd too. Otherwise, it has all the functions I need to monitor and grow my savings account.

The interest rate for the HYSA is great. The three stars is for continued frustration over access to the money and issues with the app. New deposits are restricted from withdrawal. The HYSA has a $5000/day withdrawal max. Since I am using these accounts for emergency savings and property tax savings, the $5000 limit is frustrating. Also, the app is regularly "under maintenance" or experiencing some other problem, preventing me from creating a transfer.

Doesn't work, can't sign in, just like everyone else here has said. My account works fine online, but trying to log in with the exact same credentials on the app returns an error saying that my account can't be verified. I guess I'll just pin the web link in my financial apps folder until they fix this. An app vs web exclusivity seems like a pretty basic requirement for a financial institution these days. I just got my card today and I'm not feeling very confident or secure about keeping it now.

Avoid Comenity! I got approved for a credit card and it didn't come in the mail. Had to call and get new one ordered. Got the card in the mail and activated over the phone. Went to use the card and it got decline. I tried setting up account over this app but it doesn't work, however the browser works just fine. Comenity is completely disorganized! Not worth the hassle!

I need this app for the Wayfair Credit Card, but I can't even access it. Every time I try to sign in, it says the credentials are incorrect. I reset them and try again, and it STILL says they are incorrect. I have signed in on multiple browsers just to verify I am typing everything in correctly, but it's only the app that gives me problems, and support says there's nothing I can do at this point. Update: 1/29/2020, redownloaded the app to try again and the same issue is persisting.

I have two Comenity credit cards. Guess how many I can access with this app? Yup. Zero. The silver lining there is that I can safely assume that (if this app is anything like their website) I'm not missing out on anything but a clunky, unintuitive, unresponsive, extremely limited in functionality piece of garbage software. But like I said, I can't access either of those accounts with this app. So I'm making my assumption based strictly on the login page.

I downloaded the app to have something to easily access my account and make payments. Turns out once you enter the correct information it shows unable to find your account. Currently trying to figure out how to pay online the website. Cannot enter banking info, starting to think they are trying to screw people credit. Do not use this credit card!!!

Drives me crazy! if it weren't for the 4% interest on a savings account I would quit using this bank over its awful app.

Great UI and fast. just like their website. I mistakenly installed "Bread Financial" app last time not knowing this is only for credit cards. obviously it didn't work for savings account. this time I made sure to search for "Bread savings" in all store and this works!

Extremely frustrating experience with Bread Savings. Opening the account took less than an hour, but closing it after 5 years and transferring my funds has taken over a month with no resolution. They repeatedly request information in pieces, take days to respond, then cancel my transfer if I don’t reply within 24 hours. Despite multiple calls and confirmations, my transfer was cancelled again and I still don’t have my money. Would not recommend.
