Bubble Pop Origin! Puzzle Game

This sort of game often has lots of flashy effects, but Bubble Pop Origin goes above and beyond. Might be good for some people, but it guarantees a headache for me. Also, originally installed thinking the "offline" & "singleplayer" tags meant there would be no online multiplayer elements, and then was automatically entered in multiplayer tournaments. Not a bad game but so very much not for me. Uninstalling to avoid further headaches.

Played this game for years, always with commercials and that was okay, but for a while now it has been locking up during commercials. Sometimes at the beginning and others after the entire commercial has played. It's annoying when you can't finish a game and have to force the app to shut down. I have tried all the "fixes" a couple of times and they never work. Sorry to leave this game behind, but when it is annoying rather than fun, it's time to go.

Enjoyable! I love a game that lets you advance while providing challenging game play and, at the same time, allows you to bank rewards and powerups. Adds are super easy to circumvent by simply waiting a very short time for the "x" to appear in the corner. Or if you are impatient, simply set your phone to "airplane" mode and play add-free!

A mental challenge and a great time passer/waster. I would have rated at 5, but cannot find a list of the "rules", scoring, meaning of the various special bubbles, etc. On the plus side, no ads, no attempts to sell anything (unless I agree to watch an ad). Updating my review... As the levels progress, it becomes more and more difficult to clear all the bubbles with the given 'ammunition'. Additional 'ammo' is available if I consent to watch one or more ads. I'll probably uninstall. Level 200+

Update: I upgraded my phone. Got a fresh start. I truly enjoy this game. Not ad heavy. My favorite game. GIVE IT A TRY!!!! I would love to give this game 5 stars. I enjoy playing it, maybe too much, I've cleared all the levels. It shows more coming soon.. three weeks have passed and still nothing. Now I have to play one of the competitors version. What upsets me most is They still sell booster packages, which have no use when you cleared all levels.

Way too many ads.. playing this game has become VERY disturbing with the long ads. And as of late, the game started cheating me out of points so i cannot obtain weapons after you pass a level.. it has become very clear that this game has become ad oriented, in that they have now made it nearly impossible to pass a level without having to play 3 different 30 second ads. And, should you pass a level without the need for extra bubbles, it will not let you go to the next level without an ad..

It takes 10 minutes after beating a level to start the next. First you have to wait for the fireworks. Then there's an ad. Then there's a pop up for the daily event, then a pop up for unlocks, then a pop up for the monthly event, then a pop up for treasure, plus 2 or 3 others. All with animations that take forever. The game play is great, if you can ever actually play the game. Altogether, the developer is trash for bloating their game to the point that you can't actually play it

The game itself is fine - each level is passable, but some do present an intriguing challenge. However, even without ever choosing to watch ads to get extras, the amount of obligatory ad time between levels (or between next attempts at levels not yet passed) became egregious. It seemed like the game ultimately was an attempt to keep me watching ads, rather than actually playing. I appreciate that free games need to find other ways to pay, but this seemed excessive. Ultimately uninstalled.

I love this game, and the fact that the lives are literally unlimited. All. The. Time. But it's glitchy, and right now there's an event where I am progressing through the ranks, but I can't claim ANY of the rewards I'm earning. It's been this way since I went from bronze level rewards to silver. Maybe a bit before that. But I'll change my review to 5 stars if that gets fixed. ;)

Starts off fine as a Bust a Move knockoff. Then it falls into the typical trap of this puzzle type where the game simply will not give you the bubble you need as you run out of turns. Of course, the game is all too willing to let you pay for 5 more turns with the scarce in-game currency or real cash. Since that elusive color you need is ALWAYS the next bubble up (coincidence???) you know you want to pay them... It could have been better.

I like the unlimited play. But it seems every time there's an update it works more poorly. Currently, I can't play the weekend hidden chamber-- freezes, and I need to close and restart. Freezes during regular game play also, usually when replaying a level. As another person said, takes forever to exit an ad, or again freezes. Sensing a theme here???

I downloaded the game for something to do without thinking when I can't sleep. It serves that purpose. There are about six things that I would do to improve the game. But it is free. I am not happy about the daily bonus going from 125 coins to 75 coins. The bonus coins didn't cost the designer(s) anything. It would be nice to carry over any unused bombs or bubbles.

Don't waste your time or money!! Yes, the game is a lot of fun but very frustrating because the game keeps shutting down, multiple times, while you're playing and haven't been able to play for days!!! I can't even get to the game because it shuts down before I get to it!! I've sent many "reports" to no avail!! So frustrating!! I'm deleting this game!!

It is fun, challenging yet chill, the further you get, the harder it is. However there are a LOT of problems. I have to shut my phone off and then back on EVERY morning so I can watch the 5 adds to get my coins,no biggie. In between levels and during the level I am playing it will glitch and ask me if I want to quit or resume. While playing it also freeze's and don't want to shoot the ball causing you to have to tap on the screen a few times to shoot. And the ball changes color is mid shot.

I love this game! I've been playing it for several years. If you can save up the boosters you earn in the beginning levels, it makes playing the harder levels much easier! Also, don't be afraid to not be able to beat a level. If you just watch an ad (or do something else while the ad is playing), they will give you a free random booster to use to replay the level! Each time you replay that level, you might get a different booster. Eventually, you will win that level!! Good luck, and have fun!🥰

Did I download a game which displays ads occasionally, or an ad generator which lets me play a game occasionally? Extremely excessive with the ads. Uninstalling after just a few minutes. I wouldn't mind having an ad shoved down my throat every other round if it was one I could close after a couple seconds or so. Being forced to sit through an ad THAT long merits some sort of in-game bonus, making the player feel ripped off and making the game not remotely worth the time.

It was fun as I worked my way up the levels. But, now at level 163, the game is so difficult with the bubbles surrounded by barriers, you are FORCED to buy BOMBS and ROCKETS to blast your way through the barriers to achieve levels. And those specialized "Blast Tools" require REAL MONEY. When I can EARN those with game skill, I'll consider playing again when that UPDATE comes out.

It's really fun with ads that are not that intrusive. The problem is that once you hit level 186, it repeatedly gives you colors you can't use 5 or 6 in a row forcing you to burn though your power-ups. It would be better if it were possible to not have to use any power-ups if you're good enough. Still though, have to give it 3 stars because it's a very fun game up to that point.

Update: 6/27/24 The game is highly addictive, so far the ads are much better. I like the cancel feature in case I don't want to use a rocket or a bum or any of the other special bubbles. Most times this cancel feature shows up but sometimes it doesn't and it's still forces you to use it. I Don like being forced to use rockets bombs 💣 at the beginning when I don't need to. Also would like an ad free version. I like this game. Would be willing to purchase within reason.

Don't get me wrong, this is a fun game... Until it locks up and freezes, especially when I have one move left to make three stars. The only way to unfreeze the game is to stop it and kill the app, lose my progress, and lo se all of my saved power-ups. There's got to be another game like this one that doesn't freeze up. I would pay to remove ads, but why do that if the game is unplayable.
