I'm LOVING this app! It's a bit slow sometimes, but the ability to set up "project lists" is an absolute game-changer! This app doesn't just guide you to the right bays for your items, the project list section shows a path on a map which is the most efficient way around the store to pick up everything on that list. It's 2024, and someone has FINALLY put customer convenience ahead of impulse-buy profiteering. Thank you Bunnings, that's very Australian of you!
Decent app. I like how it gives Aisle info for products. Coupe of improvements needed though 1. It's quite slow in searches. Your API needs improving to speed things up 2. If product not available you can 'check other stores' but only shows 5 or 6 stores. If product not in any of those (it's happened many times) then your next option is 1 by 1 searchbofnother stores. Need ability to see just stores where it IS in stock
the search results are not able to be filtered by customer rating. This is the only way to find a quality product. this is an option on the website, so I thought the app would be more user-friendly and make the experience easier, nit the case! Also, 99% of the people are using thai app to buy stuff from bunnings, not some marketplace seller! we've already got ebay, Amazon, kogan etc for buying that junk. bunnings is tarnishing their name by allowing it, plus it clogs up the results.
I have no idea what they've done, whether it's the fact the 3/4 of the search results are online only "marketplace" options, or the integration of AI, but both the app and the website are SO HORRENDOUSLY SLOW. Virtually unusable. I'm on a 1 GIGABIT per second internet connection and can barely load images when all I'm looking for is a lamp. honestly so disappointing. I'm only using the app because the website basically doesn't load, and the app is the same.
there's been some improvements since my last review. easier to navigate. but the one thing that still bugs me is the "special orders" and that there is no option to have the "special order" items removed in the filters. I can't be the only one that wants to browse the items that are in-store only. edit - clicking the filter "in-store" makes zero difference to the "special order" items.
The app is fine it's handy to look up and organise products I need. It can be slow at times. The big issue I have is the sheer quantity of products shown. There needs to be an option to permanently block both online and special order results. I like that these items are available, but when 75% of my results can't be found in store, I'm just scrolling continuously till I can find what I actually want. If there's an option to change this permanently then I will adjust my rating. also get rid of AI
So much trouble with losing my cart after spending hours making a big list then showing up in store to have it disappear. App is a massive battery draw just in background use and searching is so slow and often crashes. There's no way to zoom in on the tiny item numbers when showing a staff member to find something that doesn't have isle info. Searching is terrible with lists of irrelevant listings and special orders coming up first. Note pad and pen is way more reliable.
This app is totally useless. I can’t even sign in. It just keeps failing, and the OnePass connection doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried multiple times, restarted everything, checked my internet, nothing. If an app can’t even handle basic login, what’s the point? Super frustrating and a total waste of time.
If i wanted to browse Temu's entire catalogue of dropshipped straight-to-landfill garbage, I'd shop with Temu. I want to use the bunnings app to find products I can pick up from down the road -now-. Its so hard to find what im looking for when i have to wade through hundreds of 'online only' products. Coupled with the fact that the app is so slow lately and search is next to useless, it's just not fit for purpose and I dont use it. Sort yourselves out.
This app pisses me off .. Too slow and keeps logging me out automatically then loses the items in my cart, making me start all over again only to experience the same problem over and over again... A viscous, useless cycle of errors.
Doesn't download receipts: when I click, "Download Receipt", it just shows the Share options and doesn't download the receipt 🤦 I can't see anywhere to add paper receipts I was given. I gave Bunnings my One Pass and Flybuys details, at the time of purchase, so they know the purchase was made by me - so why can't I add them? Simple stuff.
I love this app, it doesn't matter what store you're in it tells you where the products are for that store. You can save a shopping list in the app before you leave home so you know where everything is once yours in store. Which Aisle & Bay. Bay numbers are odds on the left, evens on the right. There is a white label on the left hand side of every bay, first 3 numbers are the aisle number, second 3 numbers are the bay.
just as slow as the website with the same lack of information for any product. you'd think Bunnings, which makes so much money would make a website that actually works. but I guess having an app is another vector for convenience we never knew we didn't need. 1 star. just as pathetic as the website and a complete waste of time. needless 'technology'...
I do love this app. favourite features are finding available stock items and aisle and bay numbers when trying to locate items however, it has always been so annoyingly slow. I pray one day when i open, you will have fixed this issue
Is a very poor search engine and many items in store are "unavailable for click and collect". The reviews people can leave are very helpful, but the app seems slapped together with lots of holes.
Both the app and website are the slowest of any site on the Internet. It is unbearable. I don't have this issue with any other website or app. I am on a Google Pixel 9 Pro. I have tried on wifi and 5G. I have tried multiple browsers... the site sucks. I can literally wait 30 seconds for search results to show.
The app is super slow when looking for products in the catalog and has been that way for a long time. It's not a one off thing. Do you even know what UX means? Surely a company as dominant and profitable as Bunnings can get this right.
Absolutely God awful. Holy cow. I've just spent 20 minutes resetting passwords, updating details, adding phone numbers THAT I'VE DONE A HALF DOZEN TIMES BEFORE. If I ever buy from here again, I'll just walk into a goddamn store.
Very friendly and helpful staff, items are very easy to find when using the app. I use the app all the time to create my shopping list. Thank you, Bunnings.
This app is awful. It fails to login because the login screen has trackers and therefore gets blocked. It fails to work with my VPN I'm not about to weaken my security to buy cheap (not inexpensive) hardware from a company I have little faith in This app should be discontinued until it catches up with current user security issues No trackers please No 3rd Party cookies Try being decent internet citizens rather than your current rapacious information collection.
