It did freeze up on me once and one time, the pause button wasn't showing, but I think it was because I didn't have a lot of space left on my phone or it could be the battery getting drained. One thing, I always noticed is that if I'm playing a mobile game and it messes up in some way, it's sometimes because I used up a lot of space on my phone because sometimes when I free up space, the game would work better afterwards, but now, it's working great. Addictive and great time waster.
I absolutely love this game! You can tell the developers put a lot of love in the game because the only ads that you can get are for certain awards, they aren't in your face like other mobile games. The gameplay is also super addictive and really thought out. The features make you want to keep coming back too. From collecting enemies to upgrades to heroes, this game has everything it needs and more for a great mobile game.
there is nothing bad that I can say about this game. nothing at all. The advertisements are only existent if you want extra piñata rewards, and nowhere else. heck, there's even a chance you can unlock a rewards mission TO PLAY AN ENTIRE LAUNCH WITH YOUR NOSE. AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS. if you want a fun game to quickly kill some time, this is the best one for you.
It started off a little slow for me, especially not knowing the concepts and what exactly was happening on launch but now it's my go-to game. Biggest pro; NO ADS.* Let me repeat myself, NO ADS after any launches or gameplay moments. The only ad you ever get is from Pinata openings and those are just bonuses that add to the fun, not make the fun. I wanted a game to launch something long distances and I got just that and then some. Solid work from the dev (or dev team) for this banger.
Weirdly fun game. It has a great game loop. You don't need to buy anything to enjoy it, but I've bought a couple of the permanent upgrades because I want to support the creator. Still learning what is what but basically you launch your wrestler towards a boss, then you bounce on gummy bears and through cakes, for as long as you can go. I've been playing it in short bursts.
I would rather pay for games over the free-to-play model... but this game gets in-app-purchases right for me if its going to be there at all. I played the game a lot, it has solid mechanics and game play, the characters are simple but interesting. So I felt it was worth a few bucks to play ad-free when the feature came up on sale for me. Then I played more, and personally found value in other upgrades. By the end I had bought every permanent upgrade when on sale for half price and feel like it was a fair price for the time the game entertained me. In fact, I'm writing this review because I came back to the store to see if there was a sequel or other games that used this more fair IAP model that may be worth my time. Beyond that, I've gotten every achievement in the game except for one, which is hard to get if you don't focus on it early on before the characters improve.
I did it... I've unlocked EVERY in-game item. It took years, but I think I won. I say this to encourage the developers to add skin variants, new opponents, limited special gummies, more boss battles, etc. It'd be amazing. I'm not sure how long I've been playing at this point, but it'd help keep players motivated to keep playing. Rifts get really grindy after a while.
Very fun game with the absolute bare minimum of ads and in-game purchases. Ads are completely voluntary, only if you want to open up a pinata for a little extra cash or a power up. However, the pinatas are completely optional; your progression will never be hopelessly stalled for lack of a power up or money. Great replayability with the time travel mechanic, which also makes collecting the recipe pieces for permanent power ups much less of a grind. Highly recommend!!
Everything about this is great, a perfect step up from the flash version I played on kongregate years ago, I just wish I had the option to keep "buffed out" upgrades through rifts. I go through them so quickly that there's almost no point in upgrading them at all if it's just gonna disappear. Otherwise, great game, 10/10! update edit: you can now do that with one of the new upgrades! I love this game!
Genuinely a good game to pass time with. It actually gives you the option to watch ads for more in-game coin multipliers and piñatas, rather than forcing you to watch an ad every few minutes for no in game rewards like some other mobile games do. Not gonna name names but you know who you are... I didn't know what to expect at first but I really enjoy this in my free time!
I use to play this game as a kid. I'm in my twenties now so it's been quite awhile and met me tell you, it brings back memories. I love this game with a passion. Pros- It's a good game to pass time and have a little fun. It somewhat a "challenge"per say to further yourself ahead and upgrade your stats, etc. Cons- It can be a little boring after a certain period of time. So take breaks ig. The prices in the upgrades increase dramatically. But it's cool tho. It does bug out, but rarly.
I vividly remember playing this on my school chromebook when i was young. it's just as fun as i remember, and the addition of extra characters and challengers has really spiced it up. if you are looking for a good game to kill time, this game is perfect. the only ads are voluntary, the gameplay is repetative enough to not be hard, but interesting enough to keep it entertaining, and the game is unique. honestly one of my favorite mobile games
Edit: Unlocked keeping upgrades after rifting. It's more entertaining in some ways because you get all upgrades at once. They should almost make a new endgame out of this endgame, or at least add a recipe only physically possible to achieve after this is unlocked. Pre-Edit: It's $30 to be enjoyable, but buying the full game reduces the time it takes to beat significantly and there isn't much going on in the end game. I expected more from the end game than a negative exponent.
This game is near perfect, all ads are COMPLETELY optional while giving you a reward for watching one. The controls are smooth aswell as the game overall and I love all the wacky characters, environments, etc. Its a fun to playthrough but I do have 2 main complaints. 1: The game at times can feel a bit grindy ESPECIALLY when your doing the whole rifts. 2: For some reason idk if it's my phone or what but when I watch an ad the game doesn't register forcing me to watch another one for zero reason.
Update 5/3/21: There is a limit to how many times you can time travel and upgrade speed before the game glitches. I still wish they had endless doors mode like on desktop had but it's still a fun mobile game! I recommend it. 2017 review: I used to play the desktop version of this game! It's good to see it as an app. It's a bit different of course but I'm really enjoying it. I love that you can keep time traveling and go farther and farther. Still a great game all these years later.
Fun game with extensive progression paths and enduring replayability. Things slow down when you get down to the final 4 or so character upgrades, but it has a nice steady pace to that point. The art style, character design, and humor/visual gags are well done. Ads are optional and not at all intrusive. You can pay for boosts, but you have access to the full experience without paid upgrades. Very well done.
Played this as a flash game what seems like forever ago. Endless fun, flying through the air at Mach 4 while pounding gummy bears and breaking through chocolate chip doors. The upgrades and opponents are VERY extensive. Love the gameplay, love the artstyle. Just an amazing game. On the other hand, I've been encountering this bug during gameplay that would reset all progress on the next rift door. No idea why. It's a pain.
Ah, I remember the original Burrito Bison, and when I saw this, I thought I should give it a go. Needless to say by my five star review, I absolutely LOVE this game. Flash games where you kept leveling up your powerups back in the day was my elementary school jam. And it hasn't lost it's fun and charm! Great fun, soundtrack, characters, and really an improvement on the original game.
It is a fun game to pass time. I enjoy everything about it. It is a sling-shot Libre-themed game. There boosts to earn as you play through completing challenges, upgrading characters, emenies, and compents, and watching ads. Finally a game where ads are not forced on you. Yes, obviously for extra boosts for free, 10-30s ads are not bad in my opinion. The only con is the challenges are definitely challenging and I just cannot complete some of them. Great colorful fun game!
Everything about this game art style and all is super enjoyable for me, especially as an artist myself. There is no pressure to buy any upgrades with actual money, there's plenty of opportunity to earn upgrades by playing the game consistently... Honestly, my most favorite part is probably the creativity that went behind the names for characters and stuff.
