Bushnell Golf Mobile

I like the display. It uses a graphical rendition of each hole so it is easy to see. Some apps use a satellite image which I have trouble seeing when outside in the sunlight. However, it seems to have some trouble getting a GPS lock, as when I'm standing over a shot, the distance shown keeps changing. Also, it thinks I hit my driver 225 yards (not at my age). Really annoying when it thinks I can drive the green a dog-leg par 4 that crosses a stream!

I've had the app for about 4 rounds now, and the GPS distances are spot on. The one problem I am having is with the audio!!! When the speaker is announcing the distances, it's like I'm listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks. It gets really squeaky and super fast. I wondered if it was just mine, so I had my brother sync to it, and it worked just fine. He has the same thing, so I tried syncing to his and Alvin and the Chipmunks again. My brother uses an iPhone, and I have Android. Help please!!!

Have used the app with my Wingman and it does the job. Only thing is that I can only keep score for me. I can not add an additional player and keep their score. I have searched and looked for FAQ's on how to add players to track score, nothing out there on how to do it. I have downloaded, uninstalled and re-installed. Just frustrating when you have another player with you and it won't keep track of their score and embarrassing when it doesn't do it. Nice fancy app but for only 1 person.

Setup went fine until I tried to get the yardage for the hole I was on by pushing the wingman button. When the wingman began to speak, it spoke SO FAST that you couldn't even understand what it was saying. It was like the audio was sped up 20 times the normal speaking rate. I thought the unit was defective so I returned it and bought a new one, and have the exact same issue. Oddly enough, when paired to my wife's iphone, it works fine. Please fix this android issue!!!

How do I add players? I add players to player introductions, but there's no way to see them when in play golf mode or to log their scores. I've clicked every button and went to every screen. looked online as well, and I appear to be the only one with this issue. What am I missing? Also, how do I delete a round? I created a round when trying to figure out how to add players, and now I can't delete it.

I've had this about a year and its brutally bad. I can't even get the app to recognize my phone. Keep getting 400 bad request error message, can't get emails from the account set up, app just is bad. Great when it works but I think it's been successful 2 out of 20 rounds. I just use the speaker for music. I try every now and again to uninstall/install the app but it fails alot. Could be user error too but doesn't take much to download and install an app on a phone.

I upgraded from the lacking legacy app in 2023. Unfortunately, I have found this version of the app to be almost unusable in real time, as the GPS doesn't sync unless I pull out my phone (rendering the remote pointless) and putting my score in requires me to change the hole 1-3 times before I can put it on the right hole. Lots of potential, but the bugs needs to be fixed, not made worse, as they seem to be now. Also missing Disney Magnolia course somehow.

New app won't get past register because it doesn't recognize it as paired. I can still play music, but the hole overview, which I loved when playing an unfamiliar course, and GPS won't open. Basically this app is worthless. Update: Still won't register the wingman, but I backed all the way out and started over as a different device, I believe I used the legacy device, named it GPS. It then brought up the course GPS. It works now, just not under Wingman. So I'll give it a better rating.

Apparently, many people who received this as a gift was extremely disappointed this Christmas. The app issues seem like the beginning of a bad relationship with this product. Couldn't get past registration. App would not send me the code needed to complete the setup. Was really excited but extremely disappointed. Instant return. A product that's been out for this long should work with ZERO issues. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS, STAY FAR AWAY. NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE.

Worked fine until a couple days ago.... tried uninstalling and reinstalling and all it says is internal system error. Won't even let me login. Needs some type of an update or something. I wrote this on the other Bushnell app as well. I didn't even know this one existed. I've been using the other one all year. Need some help here!

App is Awful. Round setup, statistics tracking, etc., is annoying. Really wish there was a way to turn off all the round setup and statistic garbage somewhere in the app. Just provide a 'play golf' option without all the setup junk. The new app also ruined the music playback function, the music volume drops and never comes back up. Makes the music virtually impossible to hear. Also used to never have issue with yardages, now it never stops jumping around. Def ruined a great thing.

I have purchased 2 bushnell wingman views. The first I had to send back do to a few problems. The second one sounds great but the app will not open on my phone. So I can't use the wingman view properly. It says device not recognized: error 53. I have emailed and called bushnell and I have never gotten a response. Too bad. I have froends that use these and This seems to be an awesome device when it works. But if the app won't open its nothing more than an expensive speaker.

The scoring feature in this app is borderline unusable. If you aren't on the hole you are scoring for the app automatically switches to the hole you're on. Even if you try to use the tiny, impossible to hit, unresponsive arrows to switch back a hole it will switch while you're recording the score and put it in the wrong hole. I've never been more infuriated trying to use a golf app.

The phone and wingman have been exceptional products.......being able to transfer this data to my Galaxy watch would be next level though!!! Especially in cart path only situations where I have to walk to my ball......being able to look at my watch for the data would complete the cycle! Just a suggestion for something to upgrade the product! Otherwise, it is pretty freakin awesome!!!

I have owned the Wingman for almost a year, stared out great, distance, fly overs, auto advance and music. As of today, just music as the golf portion of the Wingman is not worth even trying, doesn't auto advance and crashes every hole or so with a different error message that I report. I have location all the time and still no fix. Thank you for a great speaker and thank you for fixing the app soon! - Android user

I tried others with actual satellite images of holes but they are all very difficult to see outdoors. This app is highly accurate and highly, highly visible on your phone screen when outside. Also, it's been very easy on my phone battery life when using it. However, lately in seems to struggle with moving to the next hole even though that setting is enabled.

I can only speak for my course, but the mapping is accurate, and I love this app. It works well, and it is a very useful tool. The scorecard works well. Update: I wish this app. tracked club distance. It seems like all the tools are there to do it, but unless I am missing something; there's no way to track club distances to get your average for each different club.

I have had the app since 10/23. Worked great until this week. Suddenly I was logged out and it said my email was not in their system. There are no options for account recovery in the app. Placed a ticket for support, was emailed a number to call. Each time I call the recording says high call volume and restructuring will cause delay, use call back option for servive. When you do it says "call back option is full, goodbye". Cant even make another accont, because my phone# is with my email. Sucks

Has never worked. Get an unable to perform operation at launch (error 53). The reporting tool doesn't work. The phone queue is full and I get no response from emailing or filling out the form. Avoid Bushnell products. Months of attempts unanswered. Edit Spoke with Bushnell support and told all he could do is notify the engineers and there may be a fix in a future. So if I could lower my rating I would.

Can't even install the app. Won't send me a verification code, says maximum retrys reached, can't generate OTP. Was all excited to set this up as I got it for a Christmas present, and the app doesn't even work. Pretty awful. Update: App installed fine after a couple days. Kind of strange.
