Business Calendar 2 Planner

This was my calendar app for years. It's the most customizable and best looking calendar app out there, but over time they've put more and more features behind paywalls, and introduced constant ads: I get two unskippable ads with every new event. I'd be happy to pay a one-time fee, but a $10 yearly subscription is crazy. There are so many extra features in the pro, but I just want a few of them, and they're not worth that price. Other apps do this almost as well and you only have to pay once.

Don't get reminders. Update: I did update the settings, some were needed, thanks. But I still get issues with getting the reminders. Some are recurring so I know it's not me bc I get them sometimes. When I realize I didn't get a reminder, I go into the calendar, click on the day to view the reminders, close out, and sometimes the notifications pop up then. Update: I looked into the settings as requested. Made some changes. I still have the same issues. Update: Battery optimizer is already off.

I continue to happily pay for this app, after several years. It does the normal notifications which most calendars do. But I really like the icons that I can add (and the different colors) so that I can see at a glance what type of appointment I am adding. Four stars because new and updated icons have Not been added. However, I like the ease with which I can copy or change recurring appointments. It's also very reliable -- another must for calendar apps.

It's a potentially really good calendar app but come on man, ads while I'm looking at a calendar and trying to figure something out and plan it kind of throws off the whole point of a calender! And then you charge per month and per year...how about I just buy the app for $4.99 or at most $9.99? Going to find another app...so sad that I really liked your app and you threw it out the window with your greed.

10-2025 I have to lower my rating. Certain calendars stop alerting me to reminders. This has happened in the past but I've just created a new calendar and it fixed it. With this and the subscription fee for pro even though I bought the original pro, I think I'm moving on. I personally don't like subscriptions for apps anyway but was making an exception.

used to like a lot, but the ads are INSANE. 2+ min ads that play when you try to save your entry. **cannot** be closed or skipped (regardless of what the AI canned reply says) unless you want to lose your entry. Most obnoxious ads I have ever encountered. SO obnoxious that I would rather pay for a different app just because they are trying to FORCE me to pay. An incentive (discount etc) may have been a better strategy.

Love the app. But this subscription model for apps like this has gotten out of hand. $9 a year to have basic features like font adjustment on the widget? $9 total for the app would be reasonable, but $9 a year? Subscriptions should be for apps that provide an ongoing service, like Netflix, where they have to run servers and are going to have ongoing expenses for the app to function. Make an annual update that costs for new functions, but leave the app available as is otherwise.

UPDATE TO DEV: The ad was NOT skippable. There was no escape, even after waiting. -This app's advertising locks your phone! I had to change my review from 5 stars to 1 after the Developer of this app decided to take up my whole screen with a game advertisement and deny me escape. Even turning off the phone didn't help. I came right back. My phone is clean and this is not on my end. This is the most outrageous in-your-face 'bend over and take it like a man' app advertising method I've ever seen.

Notice to Devs: I have just sent the feedback you requested! The app still crashes from time to time when searching in tasks! Please fix this bug ASAP. Also, when I selected several events from different days and attempted to move them to a specific day, they ended up spread up across different days (this has been fixed by the elimination of such option by you).

Still 5 stars after 7 years of use. One of few apps that hasn't messed things up when updating. Sorry I now have to change this to 2 stars. The lengthy ads which lock up the phone (no! they can't be dismissed) now make the app scary to use: you are trying to fit in an appointment over the phone, and suddenly it's frozen for well over a minute as this ridiculous game ad tries to force you to purchase it.

I have used business calendar pro for 15 years. the change last year to a subscription structure after previously paying for pro was such a gut punch. the free version is completely unusable. the ads are aggressive. I'm so tired of bleeding money through subscriptions. I just want a calendar that works and I paid for it once. stop No, I'm not reviewing BC1 pro, as the reply says. After BC2 was released, anyone with a BC1 pro app was upgraded to pro features in BC2. They pulled that access

Hello, I've been using the Free version for a while and love the style look. However, the ad experience has really hindered the effectiveness of the app. I understand the need for ads for the free version, but I have same complaint as another review below. There's no "X" or ">>" or backspace even allowed on the ads. If I tap on the ads, it brings me the ad URL. This renders the app useless and need to restart as soon as the first ad pops up.

Works nicely. I use it to merge 2 outlook cals and one Google cal. I do have an issue with one outlook cal arbitrarily stopping to update. while I don't think it's this apps problem, it would be VERY helpful if the app warned me of the situation. Because, when this occurs, you simply think you're free at certain times, when in fact those times are only showing free because a calendar has stopped updating. It seems to be more complicated than it must , but it is the only solution that I know of!

I love this app. I keep the month calendar widget on my home screen at all times. Really efficient app and easy to learn. Every now and then it has a problem loading, but that is rare. Definitely get the paid version for no ads. It also opens up some other options for customization. It's well worth it considering a planner at a store will probably cost twice as much (or more) and only be good for one year. Edit: still using it Edit edit: still using it every day in 2025

The app has been great for years, but recently it has been very slow to sync with my other calendars. Many times I have to manually sync the updates so all devices have the same info. * Changed my review back to 5. Customer service addressed this issue (in response to my last review) and promptly provided me with a solution. Not only great app, but great CS.

This used to be a great application until a couple years ago when notifications stopped working. I have missed many appointments because of this. I got a lame excuse from the developers that Android had changed notifications and they were not able to reliably send out notifications. Except every other application I have has no problem sending out notifications on time. So oh well.

The app will no longer start. Reinstalling the app does not work, and there are no updates. When the app did work, too long of advertisements interfered when I needed my calendar while I was on the phone with doctors' offices to schedule appointments and surgeries. Hopefully they will let us know when it is fixed. I had to transfer all my data to a different app in order to function daily.

My go-to calendar for YEARS. I love the options, how it let's me put in all the details I need, send invites, color-coded, manage multiple accounts. Only complaint is with location - I think you used to be able to put in the name of where you were going and it would find all that info and save it for you. Now you have to know the exact address. It's not a deal breaker, just a feature I miss.

I love Business Calendar! I love being able to color code my "appointments" (actual appointments, but also many reminders of things to do, plus birthdays, anniversaries, etc). It occasionally asks me to upgrade to the paid Pro version, but I personally do not have any need for the additional options included with the Pro version. I tried a few other calendar apps (including Google's) but I much prefer this one!! Keep up the good work 👌 5 years later & Business Calendar is still the best😎🥳🖖

I use this app on a daily basis for my work. I just wish there was a larger color palette to use. I paid for the enhanced version, but never received it so I'd have more colors when needed for my tasks. *I've upped my rating to 5 stars now that the color palette has increased in colors available to highlight events in. The different colors that I glance at per day help me in planning my day.
