Can never log in. Crashes whenever I want to enter my passcode. buybuy Baby has become a joke. I ordered something shown as "in stock" but after two hours they told me "part of my order", which actually is the biggest and most expensive item of my order, is out of stock and I can't cancel the order but go to their store to pick up something worth $10. The current waiting time to chat with their customer service is 2 hours and 25 minutes. Wow! Imagine how many people are complaining.
The app was working great, except for signs me out of my boards all the time, even though I am still logged in, but now nothing will load, no pictures nothing. Everything says temporarily unavailable. The prices are higher then most any other places, and it seems like items are discontinued all the time. I also wish there was a feature for out of stock items, where you can get notified when the item is back in stock. I also wish I had more stores closer to me. Also sometimes the app is slow.
Awful. Haven't been able to login for 2 weeks. Contacted tech support, they couldn't fix it and just told me sorry we haven't heard from IT when it will be fixed, just wait. My shower is coming up and I can't edit my registry at all, it's ridiculous. The store has tried to help but they can't. Whatever update was done needs to be fixed.
It is nice to be able to use my phone to scan items onto my registry. They could do a better job of when clicking the item on the registry letting you go to the product detail page. I kept trying to show certain products to people and was only able to see one picture rather than the four or five I could see when I looked at the product before adding to the registry.
Edit - Jan 3rd Nothing has changed with the Dec 14th update. I cannot even find the save for later area even with my cart completely empty. Very upset with how this app is. Original issue November 2022 Incredibly slow (using the latest version) and I can no longer access my "saved for later" items when I have items in my cart which is super frustrating. I used to be able to access the "saved for later" items when I had items in my cart and would select which ones to move to my cart to purchase.
Was quite excited to put this registry together as I'm due in May, right around the corner! It will not let me even create a registry, I put all my info in, click "create registry" and then nothing happens! Huge disappointment. Also, while trying to create an idea board so I don't lose what I like, it said "error trying to create." What is the point of this app if I cant use any of the features, one being the most important, creating a registry. Will be deleting and getting my items elsewhere!
Completely unable to use. Wouldnt let me log in at all. Says a server is down. Randomly crashes. Really disappointed considering sales associates told me I could find more products online using the app and it would be super simple to use. Seems like this is a common problem and complete shock that the company hasn't gotten around to fixing the issue.
I was instructed by the employees at the store that this is the only way to do a baby registry. It's annoying while pregnant to bend down, and up, and move boxes around to be able to find and scan a barcode. If you want to see a product on your list EVERY SINGLE TIME you click on an item it closes the app. Basically other than adding to your registry you can't seem to edit anything!! If the company is relying on an app for registries then the least they can do is make sure it works.
Can't log in since they updated their website. I have tried various browsers between my phone and computer. I came to the app hoping for better results but I still can't sign on. Parents hardly have time as it is. Rather shop online with Target. They have most of the same items with fast shipping or in store pick up.
Extremely difficult to shop with, the app constantly loses my place when I need to switch apps or put my phone down. The filters don't work - you either can't scroll past the first few filter options or it only shows one option when there should be many more. Also I was unable to add a backordered item to my cart today, an empty box with an x came up and did not let me add the item. The features that work are nice but I can't use it to browse bc it redirects to the home page so often.
Was nice to update my registry and track things from an app. However, has many issues with opening or moving from registry to checklist without freezing and closing. Everytime I would open the app I knew it would fail and I would have to re-open and wait for it to respond. Images often didn't load on what I was trying to look at when I selected the actual item.
I love buy buy baby but the update isn't the best and there are some issues. On the app you cannot filter brands, as the brands won't scroll. You also can't filter bottle for "material type" such as glass, plastic, silicone, etc. If these get fixed, I'll be willing to change my review Update: You still cannot scroll on the app to pick a brand. It let's you go through a couple but then it just stops. For instance, im scrolling through the health section and cannot select brand fridababy.
It keeps crashing multiple times a day. I can't even use it. What a disappointment Edit***** I was very quickly emailed to download the newest update. As I had actually downloaded the app a days prior, I emailed back and asked when it had been released. They said that morning. So I downloaded the app again after uninstalling because it had gotten so annoying. It works wonderfully now! And I absolutely love the idea board. Probably a little too much given there's 20+ things in it for future birthdays, Christmas's etc. Thank you for making an easy to navigate app and fixing the bugs. I love your store and website and now i can equally love your app
The only downside I experience with the app is every now and then it kicks me out or if I have to go to a different app, it does not remember the page I was on and takes me to the home screen of the app. I have learned to work around the latter. I do love how all my discount coupons, shopping cart, and saved items list are accurate whether I am using the app or on the website. I also love being able to log into the app and use a digital discount coupon in store.
This is by far one of the worst apps I've ever used. Doesn't save my login info. Consistently crashes. Often times can't make a purchase through the app. Not to mention it's not allowing me to view items upon click. Guess I shouldn't be surprised. The desktop site sucks too
Cannot see the tracking for purchased items from my registry. It was working initially and then with multiple updates this feature stopped working. No way to know when items have been shipped or arriving. APP just completely shuts down. Updates have not been helpful at all. I feel like I might as well not have the APP.
I absolutely hate this app. Constantly closes on it's own, needs to reboot, logs me out which is not convenient when youre trying to keep up with your registery. I've spoken to support who has told me to use my laptop but why when they have a mobile app? I do not want to take out my laptop each time. If I ever have another baby, I will not use them again.
Not sure why buybuybaby wants to make it harder to shop for things, but they do. You cannot add certain items to your registry for unknown reasons. There's no other way to bookmark items. You can't browse multiple pictures on the app. Their mobile website is just as bad.
Always crashing! Not even the website works! Doesn't let me log in because it asks for verification code that they never send! Spent 45mins on the phone to get "help" and nothing was done. So upsetting, not even at the store was able to help. So much for technology 🤦🏻♀️
I love BuyBuyBABY and BBB, like a lot. I spend way too much money. :) BUT holy cow, they really need a new web dev team. Sorry guys, these apps are just bad. So many bugs. I constantly update. Right now, it won't even let me log in both on the app and online. It thinks my account doesn't exist. Trust me, it does. I'm on it multiple times a day. This happens way too frequently. A bit maddening. But again, I do love both companies! Just fix your apps, please!
