Call Block: Filter and Blocker

I didn't pay for any advanced features. I needed an app that would just block all international calls and this one has far exceeded my expectations. I tried at least 8 other apps and they all wanted me to pay for this or subscribe for that. I don't get any adds, I almost forgot I had the app until I looked at my call logs and see all the calls it blocks. It doesn't even pop up to tell you it's blocked one, but all the records are there for you to look at whenever. 10 🌟 10 👍

I'm uninstalling this app. While I don't think its a bad app, I don't see how it's useful. It has access to my contacts but yet it asks me if I want to block that contact...Even when I call them...? Surely the developer could make the app a little more intuitve. It would also be more useful if it identified incoming calls of callers Not in my contact list. I'm able to block calls myself just from my basic service. Maybe this App would be more useful to someone that doesn't have this capability.

I have had no problems at all. I get a lot of popup stuff when I get or place a call, but the app has stopped all of the scam and spam junk since installation, and the popups don't bother me. The only concern I have is that if I accidentally click the arrow on the "Block this caller" I have not found a way to cancel that mistake easily.

It's very good compared to other blockers in that you can block calls that begin with the first few numbers. This avoids the robo calls that change the last number. However it doesn't catch them all. When a call comes in the app opens up and overwrites the screen which can be irritating especially when navigating with Uber for example but all in all a good app.

HELP! After uninstalling this app (due to the pop-up prompt to block numbers during a call and mistakenly blocking numbers and being unable receive in-app customer service call backs) I now can't make or receive any phone calls or texts at all. UPDATE: had to reinstall and deny all the permissions to get my phone to work again. Wouldn't recommend this app. Too easy to accidentally block numbers is my main issue.

Worst app I ever purchased. App completely takes over your phone. Forces do not disturb feature. Adds weather and other junk to app screen... making it messy and slow. Pop up to block calls opens for all calls (in and out). Should not pop up for contacts ... way too easy to block a contact by mistake. If there is a good reason for this annoying feature it should be an option that can be turned off in the settings. Ratings I used to decide to buy the app must be fake. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

Honestly, this is app is garbage. Installed it earlier today. It opens whenever I get a call and asks if I want to block the caller even if they're in my contacts. When I got unwanted calls it was not apparent how to answer affirmatively to block. I thought I blocked a number but when I open the app, the blocked number list is empty. Also, the call history does not indicate multiple calls from the same number and there is no apparent way to see this within the app.

this app let's all the scam calls through. so I don't answer and the call goes to the app. then I can set the app to block it for next time I guess. it's not clear if I need to do that. but less scam calls a getting thru. I don't like that in order to get a call to be block it's a feature that you need a substitution for.

Working great so far. I've been pummeled by Robocalls. I used the do not disturb feature and it's jumping on calls and stopping them fast. Also, I can block them all in one place with a simple click. Much better than my phone's settings.

This app does seem to block some calls and texts......B U T T after any call it takes over the screen and shows the call page and blocks the nav buttons on the screen bottom ! There is no escape except to reboot the phone ! This is a fatal flaw.

So far so good, I haven't received one ring, not even a call since I got the app. Would have given a 5 but time will tell. Let's see how things go. I am back after having had this app for almost a month. I had to change my rating because the app is AWESOME!!!!! [Notice the five exclamation points I used to match the five star I gave it]. I love the peace of mind that it gives me, not having to hear my phone ringing every hour on the hour from numbers I never knew existed. A thousand thanks!

Since I downloaded this app and applied my settings to my liking, I have not received many spam calls. I was literally receiving 10-15 calls per day to almost none at all.

thank you for your app the phone companies can't seem to do the right thing and make spam calls use one number so a person can block them so thank you for doing the right thing so far it is working awesome

I'm editing this,after using it a couple days,its been blocking calls I been waiting for and messing me up on getting jobs and calls I been waiting for. It's been blocking everything. I'm deleting this and going to find something better.

I seem to be getting good service from Call Block, thank you! It seems to be fairly lightweight as apps go, and that's handy when using a less than heavyweight phone!

Exactly what I needed. It stops spamming & excessive voicemails. Problems solved.

This app is more work than it's worth. I deleted it after 3 weeks because it didn't even block the calls that were displayed as possible spam... required me to do the work that I was already doing with paying for an app. This app was definitely a waste of my time & money.

So far so good! It's too bad it can't stop the tons of voice mails i get from these spammers and scammers!

The downside to this app is that you still get annoying spam calls . Blocking them only keeps the ones you blocked from calling again . But since there are so many numbers with just 1 digit difference, they'll just keep coming through anyway . All the blocker is doing is giving you the option to block THAT call, something most android phones give the option to do anyway .

does no more than what came on the phone. it still let's all calls through for you to decide whether to block them or not. and let's them go to voice mail to fill up your inbox. still have to be bothered with all the spam calls. I don't want it to ring or go to voice mail. they should be cut off the minute they call. uninstalling.
