Caller ID, Phone Number Lookup

This review is based on the app prior to the 11/10 update. This app WILL NOT WORK if you are not in an area of SUPER FAST internet. You just get an error message that says you need 3g or higher signal,(even when you do), but message blocks most of screen so it is hard to see even when person calling you is someone in contacts list and you want to answer. Also, I could find no way to correct the location it listed automatically for one of my contacts, even when I had it listed correctly. Sorry.

I like that it allows you to see who's trying to call. However if it is someone you need to speak to it won't let you answer. It blocks right away because a certain amount of people said it was spam or scam. I get it not everyone wants to talk to police or auto impound, jail etc. Some rare occasions it's quite useful. They were not blocked so it just after many attempts of trying I'm having uninstall. Sad it has potential that Is why I rated the way I did.

Had a call identified as spam so didn't answer. Checked message left by caller and it was from ANZ bank Fraud section. A call to the number was then about possible fraudulent activity on my account. Seems I can't change the number being identified as Spam in the app. This needs to be addressed if I am to consider continued use or deletion to follow.

Very useful app to us. I can find easily through this app wether can i talk ? or to avoid the caller.

Indeed the app does what it is supposed to do - it gives a hint about incoming calls from unknown numbers. But I'm surprised that the app has so many downloads, compared to some competing apps, which provide extra features. For instance, you can see the community members' comments regarding a phone number, in a competing app - the feature which is missing in the Caller ID app. That gives a better understanding of who is calling. 3 stars for being an average app.

very very nice.. good efforts. Satisfactory app. Just give more options to customize app according to personal choice but without compromising caller database. 5 star for call identification. dont discontinue the app.

Ads after people try to call me? Lol definitely not accepting that. Edit: hi team. If someone attempts calling me and I do not answer / reject the call - I receive an ad before I can get back to my home screen. Honestly, this is unacceptable for the amount of calls I take during a day. Edit edit. Hi there, I can't record it as it happens when someone phones me and I don't take the call. That would require me to have a permanent recorder on.

As soon as I downloaded this app and they knew what my phone number was I started to receive a load of spam calls. (More than 20 in under 4 hours) Do not download this app. Once you do you will be bombarded with spam calls. The only way to stop the spam calls is to change the settings in your phone to only accept calls in your contact list. I gave the app 1 star because zero was not an option.

Installed 2 weeks ago and had several unrecognised numbers. I answer but dont speak as directed and each ring off so obviously rogue numbers. No info at all on here either when calls arrive or after. Thought this app was supposed to stop them, actually had more since installing. Probably coming out!! Update 24/05/21. Given benefit and not improved but now getting ads when I open my phone. 👋 bye to it. Answer to comment shows they don't care.

Still pretty new on my phone but has so far identified several spam calls and has a nice interface /display for managing calls. However I don't serán option to pay for the app and get rid of all the ads that appear. Thanh fully I don't remember seeing the ads when just rejecting a call, it's only when I query the number. All the same if there's no way to remove the ads, I will be removing the app.

I've been using Caller ID for several months. Now it asks permission for a known by name number to share! or report it as spam. This is strange and untrustable in some ways. Now the application keeps popping up. It was very good but it became annoying. I reinstalled twice but same issue. Now no more. It was very good. Thank you.

None of the below features has been implemented yet. Shows that the developer doesn't care. Decreasing my rating. 1. Interface needs to be better as there are lot of white spaces between call history. 2. Huge flaw as it cannot be set as the default dialer but only as default caller id. 3. Filters need to be provided in the Contacts section for sorting by "most dialed", "most received", instead of simply arranging in alphabetical order.

So far it's grand, I downloaded it to try indentify an unknown number but unfortunately it did not unmask it. It displayed the names of the people calling when I didn't have the number saved. My main issue is that its constantly a notification in the notification bar that you can't slide away. Id rather it just pop up when there's a notification than always staying there so that might make me uninstall.

This App is Fair enough, Simple & Nice. It uses from Mobile handset what are required for it's smooth working. Not even Forces us to make it Default Caller ID App. 🟩 If Possible, pls provide it's add-free reasonable small price ONE TIME Payment Version.🟪 Kindly update: if we enable it Full Screen, it hides the "three dots" of the original screen, hence we can't use three dots features during call, such as call recording etc...Regards-

I don't like this app, at all, but I can't find the one I need, where ,it lets me block the call myself, and also delete it, afterwards!!!! There is no way to delete any of my calls, from anybody, and all these draining my battery, and meanwhile, the calls r adding up!!!! Please give me a suggestion, if u can, on a better call blocker! Thanks in advance!!

All this app does is show contacts you have already on your phone. It doesn't show caller ID of those not stored in your phone, nor does it give anything (surname, sm links, location, true ID, etc.) on these contacts already in your phone - as other similar apps will. It does not give anything on any unknown callers or people you call. Other similar apps will sometimes give at least some info on unknown callers (name, location, spam, etc.), this doesn't. What's the point of this app?

I switched from Truecaller to this simple just call identication. Truecaller is hacking app as it sleals your information and will get more spam calls. I deleted my account in Truecaller and uninstalled it for life. We only need caller ID feature and no other extra stuff so this Caller ID app by aunumber is best. I will spread the good work to my friends and family. One request: Don't spoil this app by adding unnecessary features. If you stick to just Caller Identication, you will be successful.

This apps popover notifications were so frustrating! I was unable to accept many incoming calls due to this notification sitting over the "Answer" button, and the notification being unresponsive. I'm on a Samsung A32 5G with decent 5G service, so I wouldn't expect network performance to be to blame. I recommended this app to several friends who have mentioned similar issues. This issue may be limited to specific phones/ carriers / situations - so I'm not criticizing the overall product.

Poorly designed app. Misses all the block numbers. When you try to add a number manually, it says 'invalid format'. Of course, it does not tell you what format it wants. But dont worry, no matter what format you will try, the error will be the same and all your attempts to bloack a number will be in vain. Delete !

This app worked ok, way back when I installed it (about 1.5yr ago). But since updating it RECENTLY, it kept flashing up on my screen, so I couldn't use any other apps on my phone, which happens to be a Samsung Note 9. So I uninstalled the Caller ID app, due to it being extremely frustrating, constantly flashing up on my screen and not allowing me to use any other apps on my phone!..
