Brilliant - exactly what I was looking for! Update: I'm stilling using this app daily. I have lost almost 2 and a half stone since I started my weight-loss journey around Christmas time. This app has been instrumental in my weight loss, and its barcode scanner takes the faff out of calorie-counting massively. In my opinion, Nutracheck sh*ts on MFP.

The first problem I ran into was when I decided to purchase the monthly plan. I downloaded it from the Google store and was going to set up the subscription that way. I do not keep my CVC number stored in Google, so the payment wouldn't go through. I went into my Google account & added it, went back into the app, and the only option it gave me was to pay through ITunes, which I do not even use. I deducted another star because because when entering food, it's too complicated to adjust portions.

This is a great app, I enjoyed using it before they pulled the rug out from under me with the free trial ending. I don't remember even seeing anything about trails. And they excuse this by saying they don't run ads and they have pictures for the products, yet half of my selections are blank or don't show up at all so I have to make do with a substitute that I can only hope matches closely to what I'm actually eating. No way is it worth paying for to track calories.

The calorie counter features works fine. I really liked the app and was ready to buy it. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get pass the authentication for buying it. It doesn't accept my password and reseting it impossible. The app keeps resetting to the login page. The developer needs to be fired. It does not work when trying to reset password or even logging in. Let the user enter his or her password.

It works great, letting you input your foods for meals and snacks (and having a big selection of items) and tying your fitbit to it to automatically count exercise... until the free trial runs out, and you're limited to five food item entries a day. I understand wanting to have different tiers for free vs paid, but that just feels deceptive and unnecessarily limiting.

Good app but not free. I spent a while inputting all my food and syncing it to my fitbit and adding all my personal details. It was working out really nicely. And then i got a notification that the free trial would expire in 5 days (sooner if i added more food) and to keep using it, i'd have to pay $5/mo. Wish i had known. I wouldnt have invested so much time into setting it up.

So, I'm not a big guy. In fact I'm a small guy. I'm using this app to actually track my calories to make sure I'm eating enough. It's really smooth - easy to use, simple design. Some light metrics to help balance the diet a bit more. The ability to ad stuff and then later they are added to the prediction of what you're typing is very nice. I went so far as to pay for the year because after a week free I decided I wanted to use the whole thing. Really good

The app has been great for tracking my calorie and protein intake. It also helps by showing you foods that have high calories so you can avoid them. Furthermore, you can scan barcodes to automatically add foods to the log. It also links to my Fitbit and adjusts the available calories according to my activity. So, far I am able to eat more and still lose weight by being smarter about my approach to eating with this app. Note, having a digital food scale has helped with accuracy of food intake.

This app is only free for 7 days. Then you have to pay or lose all your information. I don't see that listed in the description or anywhere else, unless you prowl around in the app for a while. The subscription cost is about $30/year, which would be fine if they were upfront about it. I wonder what else they were not upfront about? Deleting.

This app says it's for everyone, but when I downloaded it, I could not create a food diary. It says I had a lite membership and five benefits, but of what I could not figure out. It's too confusing. I would like an app to track sodium, cholesterol, and saturated fats, along with total calories, carbs, and fats. That's all premium membership on all the apps I have looked at.

I was about to give a great review until I realized that they automatically put you in a 7 day free trial. It says I have 7 days until the trial expires and I'll have "daily usage limits (5 items per day)." I won't know how terrible the free version is for another week-but should I waste my time on something where I'm going to lose all functionality in a week?? I was really hoping for something that rivaled free MFP from the olden days.

Love the app and have been using it for 2 months now, and it's helped me a lot in losing weight, gaining muscle, etc.. but in the exercise logs, it doesn't keep the weight added. it just says 12x0, for example, not 12x55kg. Another thing is that the lbs don't stay. The measuring system keeps changing back to St, and it's quite annoying, other than that amazing app.

The counter itself is actually very good. I deducted two points because it mis leads you into believing it is free. Once you sign up you start getting pop ups telling you your "free" trial is about to end. I considered buying it for the ridiculous price of $39 a year, because after all they are trying to make a buck but my only option to pay was through Google pay. I refuse to pay with Google pay. For that they lost another point.

It's a free 7 day trial but they don't tell you up front. Lite version is unusable it only lets you put in 5 foods a day. Wasted a lot of time entering meals that would've saved me time later on before it gave me the "you have 3 days left" message. app is ok but not something I'd pay for. missing quite a few products that had to be manually entered & others were in there but the information was incorrect. I would've spent less time putting everything in a notebook now I have to do that anyway.

I loved it! It will let you enter each item and and it to your own meals or you can choose to get the information from the list of meals they have as an option. I think it is perfect for anyone. You can also add exercise to it and let it track that too. The rates are very reasonable to for monthly or yearly. You pay less than you would for most gym memberships.

Looked up free calorie tracker. This came up. Not free...BUT it is FULL ACCESS free for 7 days without putting your card info in yet. So that is THE BEST WAY TO SELL IT!!!! I LOVE the app. It's amazing with the barcode scanner, has every exercise to track, GREAT recipes. Just AWESOME. If I could afford the monthly fee, I'd pay it.

amazing app! I love how easy it is to find every food and ingredient with the scanner. It's especially useful how I simply scan an item and add it to my meal and it tracks all the calories, protein, saturated fat...etc. and then compiles everything in a bar chart. it even makes it fun to track the daily fruits and veggies intake and water intake by partially filling up an icon until you meet the recommended daily amount. I would definitely recommend!

This app is fantastic!! I started intermittent fasting about 3 weeks ago and wanted to see how my caloric intake impacted my journey, so I took a chance with this app, and it has been amazing! From the barcode scanner, to the recipe creator, to the fact that it syncs with Google Fit, and so many more reasons, this has been an excellent tool for the job! ❤️

Awesome for those who tend to over eat like myself. Gets easier as you create meals for yourself within the app. I even use it for recipes now as it has the best nutrition calculator. Tried several others for recipe storage and nutrition and haven't been as happy. My only real gripe it that sometimes foods won't be saved under the first letter of their names sometimes, and like for wild blueberries, I have to hit "P" under "Private selection wild blueberries". May never stop using app, idk.

I paid for the subscription because you can log exercise &calories and it was simple to use. After 2 wks, i noticed that the app does not record calories correctly, items are not added to the 5-a-day when it should, theres limited exercise options, and youtube workouts, Exercise times does not match the calories burned. If the app is not recording anything correctly, how can I trust this app to help me.
