Hi Caltex team. I was wondering if you could make it possible for the app to scan QR codes from printed paper receipts and codes for the car wash and the vacuum system. that would be a big help if buying more than one code and using them on different days. just saves losing the piece of paper like I occasionally done 👍🏻 just to add Porirua staff member on Friday and Saturday nights is really helpful, fantastic service, same for the other night staff too. thank you.

After updated, app now works. Though, you still cannot use the barcode scanner to scan your card in, you still have to input your card number manually. It tells you how much saving you have saved until now, today's saving, and a map of your nearest Caltex. You are only able to login to one card at a time; for example, if you and your partner have two seperate cards and would like to see both card's savings, it is not possible.

Can be very frustrating to use. 9/10 times, it will come up with Location Services not on or Not at Caltex station (when neither is true). This can take several minutes to resolve and is a pain when several other cars are queuing up behind you! This happened again today and I gave up waiting for the app to locate the station, as there was a line of impatient drivers behind me.

As described by SOOOOO many others here. The latest update seems to have screwed it. Can't see my latest Discount amount. Tried uninstall, and now I can't get it to reinstall. An endless loop of emails and retry. The support is non-existent with the usual, "sorry but it's been referred to our App team" and up to 3 days wait. I need fuel now, not in 3 days. If I can get the Z App to work, why isn't this a clone of that App?

Terrible UX. I linked my card to the app and get a screen with a barcode, which presumably means it's good to go. Filled up but was told my card isnt set up properly. Sigh.. Paid full price. Went online to see if it needs to be registered that way but after filling in a long form I got multiple errors. Gave it another go in store but didnt work and was told its a common issue. Such poor execution for edge cases and horrible experience for first time celtex customers.

Pointless app. Been driving for 35 years and I always FILL my tank. This app does not have that option. So, you need to calculate (tank is 2/3 empty, roughly 40 litres @ $2.37. So about $90 worth. Furthermore, I have my credit card loaded on Google Pay, and my loyalty card loaded in Stocard. So, all I do is tap & scan my phone, which is *much easier* than using this app. And I can do this without having to put on my reading glasses. The app is not bad - just pointless.

Can't even register. You select to login with email (no register option, only login) it says it will send you a link. You get the link and click on it, which takes you to the play store with two options - to uninstall or open the app. You open it, and you end up at the same screen that says an email has been sent to you. If you resend the link, you do the same loop again with the same result. Pretty bad.

Pay in App keeps asking me to turn on location services. They are always on. Sometimes when I search for nearby stations it shows me where I am on a map, and tells me I am a hundred or so meters away from the nearest, when I am right there! Is this only happening to me? Maybe you should study the BP app and try to copy its reliability and quality.

I have used this app a LOT it is easy to use and automatically adds my discounts to my purchases including Airpoints and my gold card. Where it falls down is its ability to email receipts to my email address like is done @ Noel Leeming & M10 among others. I was told that this would happen if I loaded a (some) credit cards into the app and paid in app. Hmmm One of cards I use is a BNZ Business card, not recognised on my phone. Caltex know I have email attached 2 card why not just send email??????

Pulled up to station to find all pumps were on pre-pay today, which meant I had to step outside my comfort zone and use the app. Wow talk about easy Walker me through step by step re what I needed to add or do. Like greeting my regular cashier but for random stops when not at regular station, definitely feel confident to use this again.

Omg! What a rigmarole. 1st off, the session timeout doesn't automatically cancel the hold on your card. DONOTUSE if you are relying on your money. Have contacted customer service 5 times. Outlined the issue and they have done absolutely nothing to fix it. The hold on the card doesn't often come back for many days and customer service did not care. Absolutely horrified. No fix for this issue. So the app puts a hold on the card and then session times out. The session time out needs fixing now.

No password or any kind of security on the app yet you can load a credit card and use the app for fuel payments. This has to be the worst security of any app eith pay functions I've ever had and using it is most likely a breach of your bank terms and so you would not get refunded if used fraudulently by someone else. Do not load any payment options on this app!!!!

This app needs work as it is unreliable. It has now failed twice so I'm deleting it and I won't go back to Caltex. The first time it didn't seem to unlock the pump, but I filled up and found it had deducted the amount from my card. The second time it just hung for over 5 minutes saying it was checking my bank. I eventually drove off so I could fill up at Mobil instead. It still took a $300 hold on my credit card. Both times the shop workers said they can't help.

The app itself works reasonably well but requires mobile data or a WiFi connection to give the QR code to be scanned at the till. This didn't used to be the case and shouldn't be necessary. Also the app does not terminate properly using the back key - need to force it to close. Whenever a new version is installed it updates my default card to Flybuys instead of Airpoints which is annoying

Like several others I was unable to verify my email address. I also tried: a different email address from a different provider; and a different web browser. I haven’t seen a useful solution on the app website or in a Caltex response to similar 1* reviews. The instruction in the app to ”Please open it on your phone to verify your account. Then you’re all done.” is incomplete because you have to click on the link in the email.
