Camera Block: Guard & Anti spy

This app is super easy and I love to be able to block people from seeing through my camera just with one touch! When I want to take a photo or do a live video? It's very easy I just press the unblock button. I just found also the microphone blocker which is also a great option (especially since I've been hacked). My hackers better be ready! They're on their tail, almost done! We have their names, & location, they will be prosecuted and the proof keeps gathering!

Excellent app. I can turn it off at will but have it on the rest of the time. I installed it because my android phone was hacked. They, real humans, were watching, messing with emails, and nearly wrecked me. I had to install a microphone-blocking app, too, because of them. And run a malware, virus, etc. scan. Thank you for your app.

Doesn't do what it used to. It had a widget that would automatically open your phone for 10 min, or whatever you set it to. It doesn't do any of that anymore. Now it's just continually triggers spam commercials. They got rid of the widget, it only triggers commercials. There are other options out now, especially since they did away with the best feature. I had the paid version for a while, but it functioned completely differently, the free version was a better app. Not anymore.

A very good and simple app. Works as described, it requires admin privileges, but this is expected. All you have to do is tap block and your good to go. It prevents all apps the permissions to access your camera, take pictures, and upload them online. You know it's working as intended when you try to access your camera and you get an error or retry screen. You can easily enable or disable it by tapping "unblock" or "block". Simple is best.

This functions as advertised. It is very good at blocking the camera at all times. However, the app has poor integration with the times you want to use your camera. If you have a video call in Facebook or Whatsapp, if you want to take a picture or video, you must disable the app first. It is definitely cumbersome for these tasks. I would request integration become more fluid for these tasks. Yes, I want my camera blocked from intruders, but I might decide to use the camera again someday.

I like it. I really do. But one thing irks me. I can't ever find it. It takes me forever to notice the app icon because it's not shaped like a camera. It's a badge with a tiny camera icon and that's hard to notice amongst other apps. I scroll past it everytime wondering where it is only to find it 2 minutes later. Please, would you make an app icon that's recognizable and more...bold so we'll find it easier? Thanks.

Pop up ads with loud audio...are you kidding??? No thanks!!! Over priced app. Has potential but has apparently been designed to make a lot of money rather than provide a great app. Ads are very aggressive and loud. Constant incessant reminders. Blocking the actual app for 2 hours in the evening to force subscriptions? This is just horrible. If you back up and stop being so greedy then you'll probably have a lot more subscriptions because this could be a good app. But it's not currently.

I have to say I'm disappointed. just purchased the premium version for a year but the app is not effective. with the camera blocker enabled I can still open my camera, sometimes the app does not stop the camera from activating other times it takes a few seconds. For anyone concerned with privacy this is more than enough to look elsewhere. Can you fix this please? I mean how do I know what other apps on my phone this also happens with?

every time I open my device first thing I see is your notification saying camera blocked. Someone constantly trying to use my camera to see me and they have part of your app disabled! on your app I can not use the help center because it is used through your app but the one through Gmail i can use because that one they edit it before it reaches its destination. These must be network affiliated stalkers!

There are annoying warnings for apps that don't have camera access (or "ask each time" option), and even for aps that are not on camera blocker's list. please allow the back button to dismiss the warning without closing the app or enabling the camera.

Is hard to tell which app wants to use the camera, every app I open wants to use it including this app... the only thing I noticed that doesn’t it's the GPS app Update: I found whats constantly activating my camera and is Samsung's Smart Face Service. I never use any face recognition or unlock features, I think the android is surveilling me with this service which i can't turn off. Be careful out there.

Edit: Sorry, I spoke to soon. Just realized I'm on Pro trial. Free version does not block camera from 8pm to 10pm. Original: I came from another app that used to allow me to block/unblock camera from notification, but the dev removed that feature. Luckily I found this app that works the same, if not better. The interface is also simple yet plenty of customization options. It also doesn't require camera access, only device admin privilege to specifically disable cameras.

1st week, thought it was great. No ads. Then the app started turning itself off between 8-10 PM and would not let me turn it back on. Next morning, it began giving me scare tactics that 81 apps may be spying on me, and to prevent that, I had to buy the "pro" version. Tried to Uninstall the app and could not, 3 attempts. Finally had to go into settings on my android and force stop the app. Then I was able to Uninstall it. STAY AWAY from this app!

So slow on my S10+ but ok. Except now it's chewing up huge amounts of battery! Going to have to uninstall it.

Amazing App..Makes me feel safe and secure

Puts an announcement at the bottom quarter of the screen every few minutes to tell you the camera is blocked. Unnecessary and annoying. It didn't used to do this. Had to uninstall. I would re-install if they fixed this. I don't need to be told something is being blocked. Just block it. Occupying my screen is just malware.

Absolutely DO NOT nonstop reminder to check apps that have petmission. You provide no option to turn the incessant reminder. WHY? The app also constantly pops up with the overlay notification to allow Camera or not, even without trying to open any app. It also does this when opening an app that is already designated for No Permission. You also incessantly ask if I want your Microphone Blocker. I have it. I don't need to be asked again and again and again and again and again and again. Get it?

This app was incredible, discreet and easy to use. Simple notification when trying to access camera stating it was disabled due to security settings. Perfect for what I needed to be able to bring my phone to work. Now after Oct. 23 the app no longer works and just shows me how to do this in the phone settings. Defeats the purpose of wanting a secondary back up I suppose.

Curious though as to why your notification that tells me camera blocked keeps popping up every minute and sometimes more often than that. Timed perfectly when I'm dialing, messages, but as well as randomly. Today within the i4-5 hrs I've been awake and an hour or less on my s23 I seen it pop up 20 plus times . Unfortunately it disables my flashlight in the process of doing so. Anyone please advise share your thoughts, help me. I work and make a living off my phone. Lost 100k, getn dvorc,

I've been using it for a while (over 4 years). but after the latest update (October 2023), it no longer works. when I try to activate it, it shows me a pop-up on how to turn on the built-in android camera block toggle. and it also started crashing so much that Android keeps giving warnings to disable it. Had to uninstall.
