Canon Print Service

Just like many others, I am having trouble getting this app to work 98% of the time. I keep getting messages that the printer is not available when it actually is sitting idle. I get messages regarding spooling, and it just cycles and cycles and cycles. And sometimes it says it's printing, but nothing prints. other times when I get so frustrated with the cycling after it says "Printing" and I try to cancel it. just like with the spooling, it cycles in perpetuity. Come on Canon, do better!

Basically, it's usless! Every time! Every time I use it, says the printer is not available or blocked. Then, after spending 20 to 30 minutes troubleshooting this and that, maybe it will print but, probably not! Literally, it's easier to email and print files from my computer. UPDATE, I've reinstalled the app. Somehow they made it worse.(Imagine that!) Alone with printer errors, it's also blocking other computers from printing. Google should remove.

Same as all the others; it won't allow me to print about 98% of the time. Making my brand new color laser printer useless. HOW CAN CANON REALLY CONTINUE TO IGNORE THE ISSUE? They make products that use Lasers; LASERS!! Providing a simple, effective app is a no-brainer. Should be a point of pride to have an effective little app when selling their precious $500 printers. I didn't buy it to use as a massive paperweight! FIX THIS! UNFATHOMABLE

I'm surprised by how fast this worked. I downloaded the app, it gets stuck on a useless "how to use" screen and I instantly want to fight the developer. it was like instant rage at a stranger. good job canon. not only does your hardware instill rage but so does your app development team.

using borderless to print sticker when the images are inside the box frame thier ptinters still cut off the top and bottom. i will also bet not 1 person has ever been happy with the ugly dull looking colors canon printers print. They need to upgrade somethingAnd dont ever buy canon printers that have bottom tray only for photos or sticker paper they will not pick it up.

Self-inflicted incapacitation is a new low. Canon has knowingly and intentionally (by their own admission) disabled duplex print support f or MX92x printers, on Android only, for no apparent reason (except maybe to push users into dumping their older printers for newer ones? idk). So I have to go to my desktop to print a doc in duplex. This is otherwise a reasonably usable service, but such draconian behavior is beyond appalling. Soon on a printer near you.

Unreliable at best, really has to work every time or it's useless. Would be good if you could see some actual information about the print queue or printer status from the app rather than the endless 'cancelling...' or 'printing...' notifications

Worse printer I've ever owned. Spend more time trying to connect to the printer than if I had to write the document out myself. Definitely won't buy a Cannon again.

Will not cancel jobs. It just sits and cycles. Does not recognise when printing is complete. It just sits and cycles.

Printer is always unavailable, but if I kill the app then the Google default works just fine. Have printer in different VLAN, but that doesn't seem to bother other devices.

I spend half my life trying to get the printer to actually work and connect to this service. I have to force Direct Connect to get anything printed most of the time... Not impressed.

printer won't connect to my computer after IP4V changing. this worked immediately, but I haven't tried to reuse this app after some time has passed, which seems to be a common issue in other reviews.

Doesn't work anymore at Xiaomi 13T Pro and 15 Pro... My old Redmi 8 however still works with this print service. Very annoying that I have to send files to my old phone, else I cannot print them.

Useless! tells me I can't print using that app even though my printer is Canon. it worked the first few times I used it last year but thats all.

Duplex printing intentionally disabled by Canon. If you are trying to force me to upgrade my mg6150, I'll find another brand that doesn't disable features for no reason.

keeps saying my printers not available so I have to keep finding its ip address and adding it that way so ended up reserving it its own ip address. and a rill sometimes it says not available for a while before eventually finding it

Need help! Canon printer LBP6300 not appearing in the Canon Business app on my phone. Wi-Fi is connected but still not detected. Any suggestions?

It would help if the printer actually did something (print, for example) Actually, I 'vehad enough of this nonsense. I need to lie down in a dark room. BYE!

keep getting printer is unavailable. so frustrating. had this for a few years and never had a problem until just the last 4 months.

Since updating my phone the app doesn't work as well. I have to stay active on the doc I am printing otherwise the printer stops printing and blocks all further printing
