CapCut - Video Editor

absolutely infuriating. the app would randomly decide that spaces were optional in between words, and trying to fix that problem always made the entire process either completely difficult or just so messed up that I had to delete the video and try again. Plus, it would sporadically decide not to apply any chosen fonts to my text. sometimes it'd be an uppercase, sometimes it be in lowercase. but as far as I could tell, it's decisions were completely random. not remotely worth the money.

I like the app and all, but they NEED to fix the lagging. Whenever I make a video it lags almost the whole time and my phone just lags after. The only way to fix it is to get the pro membership which is 10 dollars a month. If they could just fix that, and not make it so you have to get the pro version, this would be 5 stars. It could also just be my phone, but I'm 99 percent sure it's the app.

I used to be really happy with this app. Its okay, but it became really money-hungry and not only that, but it also basically has no good audios. I've also been having the problem where I just can't comment. Like that feature is completely gone. All it says is "commenting isn't available in your region" and same with some templates. My only highlight is the community, if you find the right people, they're nice. Just fix your problems Capcut. . .

This app is great, I wouldn't trade it for another. But I did 3/5 stars? Let's say I made a little edit I spent DAYS on. I finally finished, and I deleted the photos I used for the edit because I have no reason to keep them. When I go back to my edit, it says, "Video or photo is deleted or moved on your device. Recover it in your album." I absolutely hate this.If there's a way to fix it, PLEASE do. If you can't, then I might consider leaving. Either way, I love your app.

I loved this app and would use it to make my edits. I still am currently just until I get the hang of a different editing app because the app has become usable if you don't buy Pro. I loved Caput because it was easy to use and didn't have a watermark. However that has changed as I now have to jump through hoops to be able to make my edits.

It's a good app, don't get me wrong. Easy tools for a good outcome, but you can barely access ANY tools. Almost every tool is under a pay wall, and it's more worth it to purchase fully a better editor than buy a subscription for Capcut. I'm sad about the downfall of such a nice app, but I'm not surprised either. Only recommend if you're willing to hand over some cash for a subscription.

Beware when using for Tiktok. I signed up after seeing a 7-day free trial promo and was immediately charged $9.99. I never got a free trial and now I want a refund. I'm very upset by this. It is false advertising. Then, to use this app on my mobile device, they want to charge me another $10.99 a month for standard, not even Capcut Pro, but that wasn't disclosed when I signed up for 9.99. I'm just going to use Canva instead. They offer more and are much cheaper for the same quality.

Okay, this app has amazing templates and stuff, but there isn't a wide enough variety of sound options! I also think having to pay for FONTS is pretty stupid as well. I think there should be more free things, as long with more choices of songs. I'm pretty bad at editing, so I dunno if you already have this, but I think being able to add our own sounds from our gallery would be nice. Thanks!!

Easy to use and keeps me entertained for a long time, Helps with creative thinking and you make friends on comments and when you post! i personally don't like the fact to be a creator you have to be 18 and up, Many kids use it and want to post but they can due to age restrictions, I think capcut should change that detail but other wise a very fun app!

I like the app, however, I had it for over a year and noticed that I was charged twice in January. when I checked I saw that I had 2 subscriptions to capcut, but I checked past months to see and I only had 1 charge. So, another subscription just magically appeared out of no where. I requested a refund and the customer service is horrendous. they told me it has been resolved 2 times, but it hasn't and now no one is responding to me.

I love the app a lot!! It has an easy design, so you can get around about anywhere with tons of tools! one problem I have is that every once in a while, a text, overlay, or an effect will move into a different place after I stop selecting it. When I select it again, it moves to the same spot as before like it didn't even happen. It still appears at the same time I want it when I play through, but it's just a little annoying. I find you guys making stuff Premium when it wasnt P before, but its ok

loved this at first after upgrading. paid for a whole year, then, after a month or told me the upgraded features i paid for were unavailable. now I'm trying to cancel before they hit me with a renewal and can't find a way to do so. the help menu said open app go to membership page and cancel. I see no membership page. I don't want to have to contact my credit card but will if I have to someone please contact me within 5 days or I'll contact credit card.

it was fine for free. it was fine with the pro ads. but now I can't even import a video ( I just made it with capcut) because somehow it's the wrong format. so capcut doesn't even support its own content it makes. the mp4 file capcut just exported, capcut can't import because it's the wrong format??? do not download this app. they keep taking away base features to make you pay for pro. hide your money.

It's very good for beginner editors to become like a pro, So if you do it right your edits will come out beautiful so on here just practice and everyone will think your a pro editor. Edit. Since it's been re-download in the US it's been glitchy and freezing. EDIT. I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app cause it keeps glitching me out of the camera and if i move something in gallery app that's on my phone it won't even show up. EDIT. I still have to do that but it's less often.

Today I am trying to edit my video, and unable to achieve my goals because of my experience. During my editing process I was not able to change the fonts, accordingly, add captions, etc. I cleared the cache, forced shutdown and nothing was unable to help. besides that, I'm unable to sign in. it took long to load for it to go to a black screen.

It used to be my favorite editing app since, but now, I'm not so sure. Because, tell me why every time when I try to do something on there, it always has an 'error internet connection', even though, my Internet connection is doing just fine. And then, when I redownload the app, I stay stuck at the main menu. I'm confused. I thought that capcut was for editing, not just being stuck at the main menu, over and over again. I'm very disappointed. Other than that, please fix your app.

CapCut used to be so good. Now everything decent needs a Premium or Standard subscription. I've noticed the reviews have gone down loads, and yet nothing is being done about it. All you can make without a subscription are really basic videos, literally fade in and fade out is pretty much the best you can do. No other mobile app has this many features, there are no alternatives. You need a subscription, which is exactly what they want. In the end, CapCut became about money, not creativity.

This app is a default for editing. Its like a beginner-friendly starter pack... At least it used to be. Now, you have to pay for literally EVERYTHING. Things that you could use for free a few years ago now require you to pay for Capcut Pro, which is just a waste of money if you dont use Capcut regularly. I'm not exaggerating when I say almost everything needs money in order for you to use it. Don't bother downloading this unless you're desperate.

The auto lyrics feature won't work. Every time I edit the batch and hit the checkmark, the lyrics don't show up on the screen! Just an invisible box where the text should be. I tried it twice. It's very frustrating and a waste of time. I am thinking of removing my premium subscription. What's the point of paying for these cool features if they're not gonna work

This app is a scam. It tries to get you into a monthly subscription constantly. I already pay a yearly subscription but it's not enough for these thiefs. In their latest scam, I used to be able to generate automatic captions for my videos. Now when I generate the captions and try and export the video it says I'm using a pro feature "Identify Filler Words". I am not using this, I could care less for this, I don't need this! I've tried to delete it and I'm stuck and can't export the video!
