this was an amazing app! but since I updated my phone to a Samsung S25, this app is no longer supported on this new phone. So while you can still view the old pictures you took, you can no longer record new ones. Very disappointing, as this is the only one I know of that also records sound with your 360 pictures. Please put out an update to fix this!!

I thought I should update everybody. there's still no information on where to pick up the 3D viewer. I mean the cardboard viewer. there's no place to go and pick up the package and there's no address that you can actually email them your address so that they can mail it to you. still no information. why not? 😔 that is really really stupid. I don't even know why this app is still here. I reviewed this before. I did it 2024 asking but I got nothing. you know why I got nothing because they know

This app is best. It just don't configure headset controllers. I request the dev team. Please make it compatible to configure headset controllers. I have LG U+ Slim VR headset and it's controller are Pico Controller. Thanks

new update tanks app usability, it keeps backing out 2 seconds into the video viewer

I'm still waiting for my "Eureka moment"... and waiting and waiting. If you're having trouble falling asleep or you like fidgeting this is for you, but you're still just as far away from viewing VR as you were before downloading it, it's a viewer tool, NOT a viewer inself. The one thing the ad IS is that it is misleading. It does work bare bones though.

Add an option to bind buttons. Instead of tapping the screen, it would be nice to press the volume button, or a button on a headset. I'd also expect a setting to adjust the size of the screens. Small VR sets don't work as well on large phones, and phones with 2:1 screen ratios. Also, you shouldn't be allowed to charge more than $10 for any of the google carboard sets.

It is good for people who use the cardboard br headsets. I know it is not meant for people who dont use it but I would still like to. My headset does not have the button on the top right where I can click on the screen on my phone. I would like to use the relax feature in artic mode and look at the fox & birds. But to click on a button, i have to continually take my phone out and do it manually. If the feature that allows me to hover over the button to select it, that would be more convenient.

Two stars for a fun idea and making a successful connection, but it just doesn't pass my bluetooth keyboard through and without that it is pointless. My keyboard works fine everywhere else. Also, the display for the left eye is larger than that for the right and both are shifted from where they are in the standard cardboard viewer app. I received warnings at startup that it was for an old version of Android. Needs work to be useful.

It doesn't really do anything. You can get all the vr apps from the play store. It doesn't access any app except Google Expeditions, also available on the play store. 360 videos is just a youtube link. It may be convenient as a link app, but since it won't transfer to the SD card, it's not worth the space it takes up.

Pointless Like many people I have found the latest version of the app to be pretty useless. A few years ago I had this app for taking panoramic pictures to send to my son in Japan, he also had a cardboard viewer. But the new version doesn't have any way of taking pictures or even uploading old panoramas from the previous app which I still have saved.

I would have given a previous version of this app 5 stars, but the current version has removed the VR version of Google Earth. I have not had the opportunity to travel very much, so exploring the 3D models in VR through Google Earth was a fun activity for me. But without any warning or input from users, Google has taken that feature away, and there's not much going for the app without it. Unless you want to play Arctic Journey over and over, just skip this one.

If it were to be updated for larger screens (Pixel 4 XL) it'd be perfect. As is, if I don't select a viewer, everything is fine. When I scan a QR code for a viewer (even one I meticulously calibrated) it shoves the lens to the right, with the centerline cut through the left lens. I then have to clear cache to get back to usable state. Other apps have no issues. Otherwise I love it and have use it off and on with my Moto X and Pixel XL with no issues. Maybe a calibration tool built-in please?

I used to be able to select things with the little circle on the screen while using the viewer, now I have to take my phone out of the viewer, select something, put it back on. ABSOLUTE JOKE! GARBAGE! And why do I have to have a cardboard viewer or one with a qr code? Mine doesn't have a qr CODE do I need to spend more money now? Honestly 1 star is too much! You ruined the VR experience!

After installing and while using my phone had brown lines across the screen and a faded screen which was what i would see when using vr also. Would have to turn off then turn back on for it to go away. Deleted the app. However it continued to happen from time to time even after deleting. Over time it worsened. Would become more frequent and would have to turn the phone off for longer. Got so bad I had to factor reset. Helped, but didn't fix it. Downloaded couple years ago.

Google as per usual investing in cool things just to drop them a few years later in the search of the next best thing. Realised that not only be street view is gone but also the actually cardboard camera app. I still have it on my phone but wanted to show to someone else who couldn't download it.

Very useful for the calibration of the 3d engine and for the automatic correction of the lens parameters so you are able to the recieve the consistent experience every time with all different headsets etc. But when I am scan my 3D VR lenses box label I just always can se the type of my VR viewer is: Default Viewer and there is no any other choice is available. So for me right now that app is useless really. I hope this is useful for the of owners of another types of VR head set. 😆

Cannot set up my vr glasses. I don't have the code. I had to spend a hour hunting online for the no button QR code. But somehow the app had one eye looking forward one eye at 90%. Useless, but I couldn't reset to normal cardboard vr without reinstalling! I appreciate they want to make it easy for kids, but where's the advanced mode for adults to customize glasses setup. I don't get why with no button I cannot just stare for 5 seconds at the menu choice to select like other vr apps. Arrg!
