This app has picked up on irregularities well. And is accurate in detecting rate. But I really wish there was a way to make a note to say what was going on when I used it at that particular time. Something other than "resting", "warm up" etc. Sometimes I get palpitations and will check my rate. Would be nice to be able to add a note like "palpitations while cooking dinner". Then I can fill my doctor in when I see him next.

Best! Ive used many... I suffer from mental and physical health issues. When my anxiety shoots up, I have to do breathing exercises, and I have to monitor my heart rate. So I know what, and when things are happ. This app really is incredible that works immidiate, and you can print/Share out your own cardiograph!!! That is huge for me I mean huge! You can go back to different dates, whatever you want to do if you're looking for something to monitor your heart rate I absolutely recommend this!

I have depended on this app for years. Hate to say it but it's busted. For some reason under apps on an android phone, it shows that notifications are blocked. Not sure.If that's the problem but it doesn't respond anymore, nor does it read your heart rate.

I have an arrythmia. Some apps don't know what to do with pauses between beats and quit. Most apps only remember the heart's rate; this one's better. I can run it as long as I want and it saves a chart of the heart's beats for that time. I also like the profiles; I give myself a new one each month; that makes reviewing easier. An improvement idea: it would be nice if the user could make a short note (up to 10 words) with each use. The activity icons are nice, but a note would enhance the record.

Difficult to understand, I have an irregular heartbeat and broad complex tachycardia and looking at the graphs it doesn't appear to be showing either P or T waves, picks up the irregular beats and does it with little effort but I think it's algorithm for the graph is basic because I'm pretty sure I'd be a little ill without those 2 waves. Other than that it's certainly a good app to check what's going on.

I have an irregular heartbeat. Most apps stop their testing when they pick up my irregular pattern. I needed an app that would not only tell me what my heart rate was, but actually show me the historical cardiographs so I could show my doctor. This app does it all. It lets me monitor as long as I want and saves an actual picture of what it monitors. Thank you!

Best app out there for checking your rhythm. I can only monitor supraventricular/ sinus / beats/rhythm. In menu/settings you can turn on continious strip. And this app allows you to discard or save and send. Uses your flash. May cause too much heat. Only drawback. Highly recommend. update....it measures blood flow according to my electrophysiologist. it is a great app. It will show irregular beats and heart rate...when it does a little hiccup I believe that is a PVC.

It's simple, no nonsense app. I don't know it's accuracy as I don't have any other device which accurately checks hear rate, so I can cross reference it, but for day to day or for an apparent idea of your heart rate, this app will work (Fabulously, as well). Had an suggestion though, please allow us to connect it to google fit app, will make all fitness realted data easy to access as well as maintain.

Works ok. However, I'd really Ike the ability to send data to Google Fit. It should also detect if there's a heart rate sensor on the device, and default to that if present (instead of defaulting to the camera). I'd also like the option to pay for an ad-free version. I'd pay for either of those things, actually. :) It's absurdly difficult to find a simple small app that just takes my pulse and sends it to Google. This is so close.

Very frequently double counts pulses: when counting pulses by hand shows ~60 BPM the app will show ~100, with double pulses right next to eachother, then the next will be normally spaced. Then, because it only attempts to read a pulse for a few seconds if it reads anything, it will report a pulse around 90 in the scenario above. Another pulee app on my phone does not have these flaws, so this is an issue with the app, not the hardware.

I measured my heart rate same time with this app and and taking reading in a traditional way. App gave me somewhat correct reading once. Other readings were incorrect, example 60/89. This app is not giving proper readings. But I know that camera can be used for this purpose, if it is good enough. Idea is that camera registers rhythm from tiny blood vessels on skin. So without proper light and good camera this is not recommended. Maybe good idea is to use clean finger too.

One of the better heart apps. Great to monitor my A-Fib sessions. Visually tells me what a pulse check is doing - can show my heart Doc. Works great as advertised if used as per instructions. For a more precise accurate reading I would seek proper medical help. Remember this is only an App. I only gave a 4 star because I would like to see an option to add brief observation notes for each session. Can a note option be added? Thanks for this App.

Questionable results - should show the raw data. I can hear my pulse clearly with my head on my pillow, and this app tended to add extra beats every now and again. There should be a display that graphs the actual data, perhaps with the analysis superimposed. Also, in night mode (greyed display) the activity icons don't change appearance - invert their background/foreground to make selection clearer for visually impaired people.

Found this quite good and near enough spot on. I have pvcs and wanted something that could pick them up. This app does that. I can clearly see the pause in my heart beats when I have 1. Although it isn't an app that will try to tell you what is wrong with your heart. I have also found that it seems to add a heart beat every now and again, but this could be movement from my twitchy finger.

No where to connect to a wearable device, so that's a straight up lie. Doesn't work with phone sensor, or front camera, no matter how I hold the phone, or the light power. Unless you have the ability to hold your finger over the camera for a while, it does not pick up much. Pretty useless.

This app says that it is designed with Android wear in mind and is compatible with those devices if a heart rate sensor is present. I checked ever possible menu and there was no such option to utilize my watch instead of the camera. If there is an option the developers either removed it and did not update the store or it is buried in one of the menus that do not work.

Completely unusable. It doesn't use flash to actually see my heart beat so I can't use this app at night which is literally the only time I need to measure my heart rate. It even says that I should try using flash but it doesn't even give me the option to use flash even if I wanted to.

To those who put 1*. This is not app problem, but too small fingure vs. too large camera. So fingure does not cover camera full enough (or you squash fingure too much to get camera covered). I mean I support u guys. This app never works for my wife as her fingure is small. However I insist it is 5* app. I have this app for over 5 years (3 device changed since). Always accurate for me while NEVER works for my wife.

IMO this app is head and shoulders above the rest in this category. It is extremely simple to use, very accurate and records and stores results, giving me something very meaningful to show my cardiologist. One addition I'd like to see is a small text field to allow a recording to be annotated with activity information to add important context.
