Great except for the price. I was using the app for my business while it was free and had everything balanced. Very frustrating to have all my records suddenly behind a paywall. They were still accessible but importing them to another free app was not just possible. Guess I'm stuck paying the fee at least until the end of the year. $2.66 a month for a BASIC bookkeeping app seems steep compared to what other offer for FREE.

Suggestion. 1. Is there any possibility to add currency logo? 2. Also need an option to re arrange the books. 3. Also looking for an option to import data from another app or excel sheet to Cash Book. Now I will given 5 star. There is no any issue with this app currently. I am very happy to use this Cash Book App and it's really easy to use and helpful to entry daily transactions. All of these with no Ads and no In App Purchases!

I got exactly what I wanted: a simple app for recording expenses and income, even on the fly! Its usefulness isn't limited to using your data just in the app: Your file can be exported both to Excel and to PDF. There's abundant room for details too. And, to top off these gems, the design is elegant and readable. I'm recommending it far and wide!

I'm used this app from long time. I’ve been using this app for a long time and was quite satisfied — until now. Suddenly introducing a mandatory monthly subscription is really disappointing. At the very least, there should be a free version or basic access for loyal users. Not everyone can afford a paid plan, and forcing it on users feels unfair and disrespectful.

The developers made a truly bizarre decision to introduce a subscription model that adds no new features, and instead locks *the core functionality* of adding new entries making the app completely unusable. I honestly can’t understand how anyone thought this was reasonable for a cash book app with plenty of free alternatives. Even if they reverse this, the trust is gone and I’m not coming back. Good luck trying to make this work.

Just changed review from 5 star to 1 star. All credit goes to the idiot upgrades and new features that are being forced. First it changed to paid, we were OK with that as app WAS really good, but now even with Paid version, takes about 10 seconds to load a cashbook which is Disgusting. New additional step added to verify and attachment is sheer waste of time. Despite reporting issues it has been close to 1 week with ZERO RESPONSE. It's time to switch to another platform.

I have been using this App for 3 years and was happy with the application. Your team shouldn’t have changed everything to a subscription model. At least one book should have remained free, and the rest could be under subscription. I was using this app to track my expenses and manage my savings, but now if it costs ₹50 per month just to maintain this, it defeats the purpose. It’s not worth paying a subscription just to record my spendings and save money. If possible please keep one book free.

I have been using the app for last 4 years and been one those users who has bring you to this level that you are now imposing the subscription forcefully. Thanks for forcing me to move to other platform. I have found some better platform. You will regret this move. I going to uninstall this app. You could have set limits for entries. And could have used the watch ad for further entries. You could have segregated the types of entries/books for payment. All the best 👍.

I was introduced to this app, I enjoyed it for just a week only for it to switch to subscription. even the lowest monthly subscription is not favourable, why will just a business carry two members and I'll have to pay monthly for that. please we would love you to review that as many of us are already looking for alternatives. small businesses like me has found this useful over time and we deeply appreciate it.

Really an awesome app where we can maintain separate books for separate bank accounts and cash transactions!! One small feature that I think missing is reports are not displayed in the app itself... Hope this gets updated soon... It would be also be great if it also has cash denomination feature for cash transactions. Edit: , it would be better if we could import data for custom fields also from CSV file. Also try to make the report in chart formats in the app itself rather export only.

For a while now, this app has been good. Suddenly, this subscription plan has spoiled everything. I have even subscribed, and I'm unable to unlock features. This is poor for the subscription plan after payment.

Please Remove the subscription cancellation pop-up, it is irritating. Subscription pop up could be in settings. Rather than a recurring plan introduce prepared plans. On a entry, CHANGE "BIG GREEN SHARE" option to "EDIT ENTRY" option. Add "share entry" option to 3 dots below the delete entry option or below the edit history option. Edit entry should be bigger and bigger visible than it is now, it should be in the place of share entry. Please do these changes asap.

i used to love this app. i now moved to another. it was sad when they took away the free feature but i still paid. then to many problems. getting kicked out. once i even had to pay twice. not worth it anymore. this app broke my heart.

To be Honest I have to rate it 5, But after it's update, Cashbook suddenly asks for huge pricing subscription, It's completely unprofessional. And the pricing range is unbelievable. For existing customers, it had put a entire full stop even for a single entry. I think everyone have a downfall, and cashbook downfall may be caused by this.

Need help? Crickets..... The app glitches and crashes when I take a photo of a receipt, requiring me to reenter receipts. I requested help on the matter and have not received a reply in more than a week. A crashing app is useless to me.

I am using cashbook app from so many months and I liked it very much but recently it introduced subscription for even data entry which should not locked by the way if customer is not going what they want from one app then obviously they will switch over to other platform so I did the same. Moved to other platform because I need to move on.

If the team continues with the decision to impose subscriptions even for the most basic features such as page access, data entry, and filtering, then it clearly shows a lack of concern for users’ needs. These are fundamental requirements that should never be locked behind a paywall. Forcing payment for such essentials is unreasonable and will only drive users away. If this approach is carried forward, it is time to move out and adopt a better financial apps
