Cat Identifier - Cat Scanner

As soon as you enter the app, you're promted to pay money to use it. The only thing that this app contains that is free are wikihow articles on "How to pet a cat" and "How to be cat like" and from what I can see from other people who've actually bought the subscription, it doesn't even work properly. This app might as well just be a scam. Don't download unless you want to be bombarded with ads and disappointed.

useless app, so many stupid adverts and gave me so many choices. How is that called an identifier when they give you five options?

This app is just an ad generator. Completely unusable. I'd give it zero if I could.

Another would be zero Stars if it was available! Nowhere in the description of this app does it tell you that it is that you must pay to use! You don't even get to open the app without having to sign up for the three day trial and then be charged automatically. I immediately came here to post my rating and then uninstall yet another disappointing app!

Makes you pay to use it at all and I was gonna go ahead and just give y'all the 2 damn bucks so I could get my answer, cancel, and move on with my day but I can't even do that. Tells me my payment method declined multiple times even though my card is turned on and my balance is sufficient. Y'all really want money and don't at the same time 🤣

DO NOT get this app. I wasted $2 on it and won't work. Every single image of any of my cats I try to use, no matter how clear they are; even if they show the cats entire body or a close up.. doesn't matter! Error every time. I don't know why this app shows a 4.0 because it's terrible, so are most of the reviews, and it doesn't work. They're basically stealing your money; so now I have to find a refund and cancel my $1.99/mo subscription. I Uninstalled and Reinstalled -- same issue. Scam!

Completely useless app that does not do what it claims to do unless you opt in for a 3-day trial after which it builds you $40 a month!! Outrageous! Ridiculous!! The free version of the app only tells you how to draw a cat. This is laughable!! 🤣😹

Don't think I've ever uninstalled an app so quick. You can scan a cat without signing up to the 40 quid a month subscription. Tell me, please how one photo is worth it. But it's nonsensical because I only want to know what breed my rescue kitten is. Why would I pay forty quid a month for one cat. It just doesn't make sense. At least other apps allow the photo scan for free and offer care and advise info at a charged rate. Like picture this, the plant identifier. I honestly don't see the point.

Shooting in the dark. Different results every time I upload a picture, so I tried pictures of rabbits and dogs and it still told me what cats it thought it might be. Same for a picture of my ceiling and a completely black picture. Also sketchy that the privacy policy and terms of service are just links to Wikipedia definitions. I would delete this even if it were free (paid subscription to use camera).

If you take one look at the reviews you will see this is a scam, almost all of the positive reviews are 1-3 words long and just say something like: good/good app. In the negative reviews expose that the app simply takes your money and show the random pictures of cats no matter what you show it, even a black screen or a different animal will show a cat breed!

TERRIBLE!!! Do not get this app. Error every single time. Plus the 5 star rating aren't even people! Their boylts and it's obvious. Plus you have to pay $1.99. plus no three day trial, AND it doesn't even work.

This app is not a good identifier. I have 4 cats and it got one right. Who's a tabby, I already knew that one. The other ones were clearly wrong options. Not impressed and canceling my subscription immediately after posting this.

Doesn't have correct info after scanning said cat. My cat is a tabby short hair mix. And I couldn't find anything in this app that says the same thing. And it couldn't identify my calico cat at all. It said no cat in photo.

absolutely awful and a waste of internet perhaps a waste of money too buti wont try it after using the app

Full of ads and didn't even let me put in an image and constantly prompts you to pay. If you can't use a product before paying, why let there be a "limited" version?

I would 0-star it, but it won't let me. It is absurd that you have to pay money just to figure out what kind of cat you have. You need to fix this. Until you do, I'm deleting the app and not using it again.
