There are a lot of tools in this app but the lessons could be done better. As it is, it serves better as a companion app with your therapist. If solo, many of the exercises are shown out of context of the lessons or assuming you already have some knowledge of what's going on. As someone with a therapist that doesn't use the app, I like the exercises as they help me organize my thoughts but it is pretty expensive based on that perspective. I could also never get the email summary report to work.
I've used the app daily for over a year and used it weekly in therapy. But now I am not able to login at all! I contacted support on June 19th and they simply says they can't repeat the error in their test accounts and have no answers for me. I cannot access my data (a years worth) or my account even tho it's a paid subscription. So sad! Because it was very helpful.
I'm soooooooo disappointed that the actual CBT exercises are only available in the paid subscription version!! 🥺 but 4 ⭐ because I like the daily diary where I can choose from a long list of emotions, and some physical feelings, and mark the intensity of them. I love the reminder to do this check in. I also love the peer groups! 🥰 lastly, it appears that the "share" with your clinician tool is free, and though I haven't tried it yet, that is an amazing feature! 👍👍
I don't use any of the functions besides the entries, so this review is for that. I like the range of emotions, but it could be bigger. The way you can choose the percentage/severity of the emotion is great. For the part where you describe how you're feeling, it would be even better if there was a voice note option because who wants to type out their breakdown. Not being able to turn on reminders without a subscription is bad.
I haven't used this to much yet. I do like the daily notice they send you reminding you to write in the journal. Or at least do the how you feeling today. And picking the words that best relate to how your feeling. Then you can always save a picture for that day. So far I like it, haven't found any glitches in the app at all. Seems to run very smooth on my phone.without any complications with other apps. I would highly recommend for a daily diary or keeping your notes for CBT treatment.
I did like the free lessons/exercises but subscription is too expensive for what it is. Other apps on Play offer similar services for less. Suggestion - change the font colors for the Emotions list on the Daily Check In. Some of those were hard to read. It's also annoying to have to pick a % of each emotion. You also can't see what emotions you picked on the actual journal page, so now I have to go back and forth to explain why I was 68% anxious. Good content but bad organization and too pricey
You cant try it before you have to pay. I really think that there's a lot of different ways that this app could go and having at least a weeks free trial before you're asked to pay for an ongoing membership is not too much to ask I'm really uncomfortable with trying another subscription without at least being able to try it first. therefore I just uninstalled. I cannot recommend this app.
Buggy, keeps closing, I just installed it, it saves nothing, I do NOT see how this app could help someone if it wont save information, closes constantly and will not let you finish the assessment tests without closing and then reopen and it says never actually submitted. Should have known when it wouldn't verify me properly and I had to close the app three times just to get it work. Seems like it would make matters worse for me, and so deleting..
I love this app but one of the main paid features does not work. I want to download my entries to send to my therapist but the report output is incorrect. The emotions don't match with the correct day, the time of the entries show only the time you downloaded the report and it doesn't include any of the recorded cognitive dysfunctions I logged. I'm really disappointed and will be checking out other/similar apps and won't be sticking with the paid version after the free trial.
I'm no doubt purchasing when I can. Great features and so helpful. better than paper and keeps track of so much. I love it and only had it for two days. Terrific job to the developers and team who created this app. This is what I needed. Great deterrent from distractions that are not ultimately beneficial. Great deterrent from negative outlooks and tracks progress. Oh, and NO ADS! 🙂
I would give 5 stats but the app keeps crashing. It crashes when I scroll. I paid for it because it is so helpful but please fix the crashing issue. Otherwise, awesome. It has great lessons, love the videos, and how in depth it is. The exercises are great but hard to know what distortion they are used for, a description of that would be helpful. Has helped me in times of distress and has already helped change my thought patterns. Thank you and please improve!!
The truth is I really liked this app and would have considered buying the premium but it is really buggy. It would sometimes freeze and I couldn't select anything. It would often open to a blank screen. In the end, I had to delete the app because it was frustrating. Now I am using a product with an inferior interface but it is at least reliable. I hope these bugs get fixed and I'll come back happily :)
Only a small amount of topics are free/unlocked. The majority is pay to gain access. Needs updates, last was 2022. The app is basically a diary or journal entry. Ex: what happened, why it happened or what you think should happen. And there's no response on how to deal with or handle it. I thought it would provide feedback on how things should be. Or options on how to address issues.
Updated review: Unfortunately, I must uninstall this app due to its exhorbitant cost! {I am fine with apps that charge a small one time fee to remove ads, but I REFUSE to pay a monthly fee!} About the app itself (the limited free portions of it): So far, what I've seen is very well organized & contains helpful lessons, informational videos, a personal journal, & more...
It's helpful but you can't really do much with the free version. The app can't even be accessed offline, so I can't log anything or check distortions when I need it on the go. I don't see the point of logging emotions, since there's no way to track it really, no graphs or anything just a list. Basically, for me it's useless right now.
I'm finding it good but none of the reminders have worked once and it's not really interacting with me as I'd thought for the paid version. It doesn't suggest anything or remind you so it's just you filling in the exercises..iv also tried to use the help button and it just says failed not sure if il continue to pay for something that's not functioning properly as it suggests..
I really love this app. Even though I maintain a diary in real life, i write it only once in a week because i dont have enough time to write my diary as it is time consuming. But this app is beneficial. It helps me to track my mood, emotions and my activities in a month, and i can really finish the diary entires within a minute! I recommend this to people who want to track their daily mood and activities. The lessons and exercises are great. I can share all of this with my therapist.
I really like it. I like how it gives you tests to see how your mental state is, and what you can do about it. There's also a good selection of courses/strategies to help with whatever you're experiencing with traumas, etc. Good thing to help when you're away from counselor... At least you can keep tabs privately about your journals/tasks and track your progress.
There are almost no options unless you sign up for an overpriced subscription. It essentially functions as a diary without paying the $15 a month. Not worth using without the additional features and not worth paying for the additional features. It's an app guys, not a paid psychologist be a bit more realistic with pricing structure.
It's really nice but I feel like the list of emotions is not complete. It would be great if the user could his own emotions/feelings to track. I tried the 3day premium version and the food or sleep tracking did not show up during the daily entry, I was not sure how to log it. Also sometimes the app crashes when I write in the Journal and everything is lost. Anyway I will still use it as I like the design a lot and it serves the main purpose of tracking your mood and emotions + journal.
