Their ATMs and apps never work right and are severely outdated. This makes doing business with CBT unbearable compared to other modern banks. My little credit union even has more recent tech than they do. For example, I keep getting error code 1003 "it looks like we're having trouble loading the application" uses to happen off and on so I know there is no issue with my phone (would suddenly fix itself). Now it has not worked for over 6 months even with app updates and re-installs
Worst banking experience ever. Customer service non existing and too many fees. Only with them because they bought out First Bank which was stellar. Just cancelled savings AND checking. With so many choices out there you would think they would do better or at least try. Customer service said if I don't like it just switch banks...I just did.
The app's mobile deposit feature is unreliable. Continues to give an error even when all instructions for the image capture are followed. Very frustrating!!!
I have been happy with it so far. parts of the app can be confusing, but you can figure it out fairly quickly.
This app used to work well for me. Now suddenly, I haven't been able to even get to the login page, says network busy or error try again, for the last five days, ridiculious. I'm in an area with no branches or ATM near me. Currently would give negative rating but one start is lowest it goes. Not a happy customer
I would rate this app negative stars if I could...I have only been able to log in maybe twice since downloading the app making it impossible to quickly check my account balances or to make mobile deposits (which is the main reason I downloaded the app). I'm really disappointed and Zion needs to get their act together and improve both theobile app and their website.
I don't know why you feel the need to make changes to something that was working fine. You know the old adage, "If it's not broke, dont fix it"? Ever since this most recent "upgrade" the transfer funds feature simply does not work. Just get an error message saying "please try again". I don't use it that often but I have tried it repeatedly since you made changes and it just won't work. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. Still won't work. Please fix. Thank you.
This mobile app doesn't load on latest Android devices. It work well back back in Aug 2021 . This has been an ongoing problem since I have been using mobile app for almost 3 years. Sometime works and some time doesn't work . I am guessing , they want the customers to go to the branch
This app used to be great before the recent update. It is garbage now. You can not read the names of companies from your transactions but have to click each one. There is no running total of your balance like you would see before just amount of transactions and deposits. Tried scrolling to view other months and it keeps returning to current month. Seriously what idiot was allowed to make these changes? No customers would say to do this. Please bring back the old model. Updates should improve.
Mobile deposits is what I would mainly use this for, but the frames are off when taking check photos. Had to try 10 times with different framing in order to capture the check in a way that would submit correctly. I recommend fixing that. Otherwise a fine banking app. Thank you.
This app has not allowed me to deposit a check for years. It's beyond frustrating. I've called the company, and they blame it on my phone OR my ability to put the check in the appropriate location for a picture as well as whether the check is folded on corners. I use 3 other banks with ZERO check deposit issues. ZERO. I would appreciate SOME level of accountability on CBT's part. I have a top of the line samsung,and I know how to deposit a check. Every other bank can make it work, why can't you?
This latest update is absolute garbage, it runs slower and takes longer to do everything. It's very top heavy and switching apps it freaks out a lot, the ui looks dumber like it was ai generated...if you can please just switch banks, this experience pretty much sums up the entire company honestly and I was waiting for this to catch up to the overall experience. The old version was simpler, faster and more concise, it's so ironic they say they "listened"...NOBODY WAS TALKING ABOUT IT, IT WORKED
I'm tired of this app, worst bank app. It blocks my app account all the time and I have to call to get it unblocked. It's soo frustrating when I'm trying to access my card info and can't log in.. even though I have the correct username and password. 😠😠😠
Loved the old bussines app. Main thing I used it for was to deposit checks. Every time I have used this app it says it can't verify image. The one time I did get it to not say that it said the amount of the check was wrong. So have had to each time drive to the branch to deposit it. I'm a sole proprietor so time going to the bank is time lost working.
Works good. Just would love to see the image of my checks deposited via mobile to show up. It only shows a "deposit slip". Makes record keeping very difficult. I wanted to add that this USED to be the standard. Whenever I did a mobil deposit, the check images would show on my online account AND in my printed statements. The only time it did not, is when I entered more than one check at a time. So I began doing them one at a time (i.e. pictures and take care of one check. Log out. Log back in. Do the second check, log out, repeat as needed). This way they showed up as different transactions and all images would show.
No push notifications at all. Zelle is bad, no notifs when you receive money or request. Took years to get face unlock, until 2 generations after Pixel 4 came out. update: capture check went from bad to worse. "Powered by Mitek" auto capture fails often and there's no manual capture option until some obligatory timeout delay.
Update: everything is working. 5* again. App doesn't accept my log-in. Useless until it does. I use the same info to log in to my account through my browser. i already uninstalled and re-installed the app. It used to work. Update, now it starts then gives me a white screen.
The log in home screen is utter garbage! The letters for your password are shown for only a milli-second and I can never get my password correct. Which is becoming a serious problem. The last version of the app showed the letters for your password for a normal one second period. And it worked quiet well, But no it had to be changed to a milli-second for the latest version. The rest of the app works quiet well to be honest!
Complete garbage. It often displays an error message : "The data network is busy or unavailable. Please try again later. " The only thing that fixes the issue is to uninstall and re install the app. Pure trash.
Not impressed. I only need this app for mobile deposit of checks, which is everything it can't successfully complete. I've spoken with their help desk and even gone into a branch. Consistent shortfall. Every check deposit attempt is rejected.
