The game is an interesting, educational clicker. The ads are optional and give good rewards. However, more than half of the ads are straight up pornographic and explicit. For that reason alone, I CAN NOT allow my children to play this, which is a shame. They like science and would really enjoy this game, but the ads are highly inappropriate.
This is a great and fun game but recently I've hit a bug where my phone freezes during the Cosmic Event Universe Upgrade section. I can play the rest of the game no problem, but when the universe upgrade event occurs, where the green particles show up with different colors, my phone comes to a screeching hault. I have to shut it down and put it away because it's just unplayable. This is even on Low Res mode too, still bugs out. Other than that, fun game, but this has to be fixed!
As idle progression games go, this one stands out as one of the best. Lots of side branches to explore, great BGM, and most importantly, it's actually educational! I love the little blurbs explaining each node. If your kids like this sort of game, this is a great one to give them. They'll develop stronger math skills and pick up biology knowledge without even knowing it. ;)
JFC this game is busy. Maybe the glowing reviews were about earlier versions before they added a bunch of fluff to it, cause I can definitely see a good game under there somewhere. But it's constantly being interrupted by popups and unlocks and new features. Is it so hard to understand that I just want to play an idle game and explore the advancement tree?
I've been playing for around 6 months now and have been having a very fun time progressing through all the different simulations. One complaint I have however is that as of the last couple weeks, I've noticed that the optional ads for boosts and the like frequently contain not safe for work content which makes it very uncomfortable to play this game in public/at work.
I absolutely LOVE this game. I've been playing for years. I even play on steam with a different account as well as the Alpha app. it's beautiful. So, why only 4 stars? well .. for the last month or so it randomly crashes on me. More so in the Beyond garden which is heartbreaking because that is my favorite one. I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. I don't know what else to do.
First, I rarely rate a game. That being said this game has really caught my attention. It's not just a tapping game either as the game gives you plenty of currency to use to further the evolutionary trees in the game. Do you pay to win? Sure, if you want to be competitive. What is great though is how fun the game is (and never an ad unless you choose one) without ever buying a thing.
i love this game. its fun & relaxing I like that it's not just one view to play from. there are also lots of side games to play. i wish they were longer though. 2/3 days is so short of a time. the cat expansion came up during Christmas and cuz of work i didn't even get to play it. that made me sad. maybe it can come back another time? perhaps also extending the length of time we can play the specials would be nice too. i mean when you consider sleep, work, etc we need more time 🙏❤️ thank you
I absolutely love this game the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I reached maximum progress rather quickly and once that point is reached there is no point in playing anymore. I really hope an expanded content update is in the works. I have increased my rating to a 5 because of all of the additional content that has been added since my first review.
I love the game, very high quality and the new updates are amazing! However, there's one problem with the Explore event (currently Outbreaks), where it seems to not open. I can click "Let's Go," and the graphic content warning screen will spawn under the pop-up instead of closing it, and when I click continue, it seems to do nothing. Please fix this, I really enjoy the Explore events and would love to play them more!
Probably the best idle game around. The visuals are great, the flow is good, and advancement doesn't feel like a slog. It's informative and easily understandable. I have not been forced to watch a single ad in this app, but I chose to watch ads for various bonuses/boosts because they are not forced on me. The devs do a great job with keeping things interesting and making the waiting actually rewarding. A+ game, I highly recommend.
Great idle generator game. This is science oriented around evolution and extinction. dinosaurs and such. you continually build up and then break down your 'simulation' to come back faster and better on the next try. its a satisfying game loop with a lot of little side quests and bonuses. ads seem to be strictly for boosts, so you can play regularly without being pummeled with ads.
This is genuinely one of the BEST games I've ever played. It is so interactive, it's so fun to upgrade all the things, there's a new thing every few days, and it's very chill. You can spend time unlocking new things and it feels amazing getting the achievements or you can leave it idle to build up more points! YOU chose your game play style. Genuinely recommend this game a lot, it's very good.
I'm a biologist by training and a futurist by temperament. Cell to Singularity covers it all! The science is solid and the vision of humanity's future is inspired. The interface is graphical, but isn't cluttered with useless animations. As an incremental game, it's well-balanced between automatic advancement and player input. An excellent experience! 👍
I left the game for over a year, I was devastated thinking my save was lost but no it was restored. I got a welcome back boost and gifts along with a tutorial of the things that changed. this game is so full of love it's amazing. I wish there's more variety in events (last I played there were only 3?) but it's very fun and very easy to progress even without ads which nowadays is such a rare treat.
I have been playing this game since the start, but now the ads are getting to the point where they should be considered malware. it was bad enough that they were forcing open my app store, but now they are forcing Firefox open to load spam ads in my browser no matter what I do to prevent it. for that reason, it's a 1 star due to the cancerous, intrusive, malware acting ads. pushing long-time players away is a special kind of strategy.
I don't know what the problem is necessarily but every time I am playing for more than 2 minutes the app freezes and gives me an error message saying something went wrong with your Google play, some might say it might be because it's your Internet it's not I have 5g plus great connection with everything else I play, no other games I play do this. can I get some help? (edit) at this point the game is unplayable it keeps crashing every time I try to load the game, I cleared the cash and data
Excellent game overall. Advertisements are "optional" in that they are used to accelerate item drops and in-game revenue rates. I really like the summaries for each discovery! My biggest nitpick is that the moon does not appear to revolve around the Earth at the proper rate of once every 28 days approx. I am curious if other orbital rates are inaccurate as well. Ultimately, this is a great idle game and quite informative! It is well worth the time if you are into science at all.
I love this game. I'm at a point where I've gotten most of the basic achievements and its challenging to get the rest. Totally keeps me entertained. There are no forced ads, and watching ads gets you items so you can play without paying. There are also codes you can look up so you can get more free perks. I wish that once you have completed the civilization tree several times, that more would unlock instead of the same thing over and over again.
Education and addictive, it's very fun to play, as well as insightful on certain aspects of life, as well as the different modes being interesting and nice to play. Edit: though I wish the spaces where you see animals (dinosaurs and the main simulation) were more interactive, like you can move within the spaces, interact with some of the animals, more motions and (maybe a joystick and such)
