Checkers - Online & Offline

Nice app, fun way to pass the time. However I noticed there's some algorithm here that keeps you from going on a streak for too long. You play for a certain amount of time, rack a good winning streak, then suddenly players with only one or two games show up and play waaayyyy too well for a newbie. I'd believe it if it happened once in a while, but it's all the time. They don't respond to messages, and play perfect. Nope, I'm guessing the game comes up with a fake player to stop the streak.

Forces draws too quickly. For example, you might have two pieces and they have one, but one of your pieces needs to go to the other end of the board to become a king and then return to force the win. It's a guaranteed win but it takes more than 20 moves so they can request for a draw and even if you decline, it forces a draw because you can't do it in less than 20 moves. Also, if you turn the music/sound effects off, but then go to play offline, it auto turns the sound effects back on.

Good app, just one small complaint - there appears to be a bug with the sound, if you switch off sound effects in the settings it will turn off the background music in the app. However, if you then navigate to the vs computer play, the music starts up again. Basically there's no way to play offline without that music playing in the background. I like to play checkers while I watch YouTube or listen to podcasts at the same time so this is a little annoying to me. But other than that it's great!

Ads before a game could even begin. UPDATE: they responded, trying to get me to buy their game. As there were ads before a game could even begin, I thought this was just an ad program as i couldn't do anything but exit the game when the ad showed up. So, no, i won't be paying for a game of checkers when there are ones with no ads or at least unobtrusive ads.

Haven't been able to play online for 2 days this occurs frequently. Even when I am connected to the WiFi. Lastly, someone brought up the draw rule I've seen that occasionally. I had a game drag out for almost 30 minutes because the other player did not agree to a draw we each had two pieces. Please fix these issues. This game is a 5 star game but fix these issues. You do the draw rule when I play the computer it should be the same when I play someone online too. (Able to play online for now.)

would give five stars but the game keeps freezing up or closing itself out, by the time you get it back opened you find you have ran out of time and lossed the game. Please fix or will have to uninstall. I would think with the knowledge to create the game would have the sense to fix the game. Thank you. I'm back for the ( 200th time ) and it's worse now. No problem with my internet. The game stops everytime in the middle of the first game When are you going to fix it and not just look into it.

It's a good game, lots of customizations, different stages you can play with challenging players, you can watch a certain amount of ads to remove them for 24 hours, the only thing that irks me, is that when your playing against a player and they land a king, they will just move back and forth in the same spot until they get a win. This makes me not want to play the game whatsoever. There needs to be something that prevents a king to move from the same space multiple times. Unfair gameplay.

Why do you allow players with millions of points to play beginners? After amassing a million, close out the beginner arena. Also if facing certain defeat an opponent can offer a draw, and you won't have enough moves to get the win. Another issue is if nobody wants to be aggressive the game can go,literally, forever. Limit it to 50 moves ,like real checkers. And lately, when trying to connect, I'm getting the message, can't connect, no internet or we're working on our servers. Time to Uninstall

You can actually change the rule set from English-international, along with 7 other countries rules set of the game. Just got to change it in the game setting. Those who say "they are not forced to jump the opponent pieces, didn't change their rule preference". Didn't earn the 5 star because of the adds after every game, don't like having to close and reloading the game to avoid the add's. But it's not a big deal.

Lots of Ads it's irritating ,Ok some ads is alright but i can't watch lot's of ads ,I download other apps which is having less ads !! Am uninstalling this up, having lots of users for long run was beneficial for users & owners.

Paid for the game with no adds. Now when I play my timer will give up halfway through causing me to lose the game.

Too many adds, it's annoying, especially the one's that you cannot click off or dismiss. It forces you to interact with the ad, even though you're not interested. it's such a shame that developers will stoop to this low tactics. Just for a few add dollars and ruin the user experience. I do not recommend wasting your time downloading this game!!!

I can't freely move my cookie. many restrictions are in the beginner level.

This app (game) deliberately stops playing under the pretext of poor internet in order to win the opponent. You have no excuse to deny what i said.

As I was on the verge of winning, all of a sudden the game just restarted and I end up loosing a game I played so hard. This happens most times when I'm playing with guys that have way higher ELOs than I do. Another time I have five pieces left and the opponent have only one. Just for me to capture that one piece and end the game in just one move, again the game just pronounced draw. That's how i threw my phone in anger and cracked the screen. Fix these issues then you'll get five stars from me!

This game is really enjoyable, honestly. However, there are a few minor issues, like the waiting time when the network disconnects being too short—I often end up losing many matches when the connection drops. But also, today the game isn’t working at all. What’s the problem? Or have you gotten carried away by the praise and decided to mess with us a little?

L app, move on. I mean, how easy to be an "advanced AI on hard" when game just doesn't let player use a move which is not beneficial for AI! I had so many times to LEGALLY outplay AI, and game just DID NOT EVEN SHOWED OR ALLOWED IT AS A MOVE, JUST BECAUSE IT WOULD PUT AI INTO A BAD SITUATION! And no, I am not sending screenshots, explanations and any other stuff to devs. You created, you get money through ads, you must find and fix, not me. I only rate it the way it deserves.

Hard mode of international draughts is a good challenge, but the ads are so disruptive sometimes I cannot return to a game after seeing a text. It just stays in the ad or transfers me to my Alibaba app and I cannot return to game in process. The price is right, but there has to be a version of checkers somewhere that is not so intrusive and disruptive. Update: ads are more prevalent now and he app is sending notifications, reminding me to use the app. Deleted.

I don't know why my location in the Game is Canada? I'm not in Canada😳 Anyway this is a nice game, despite the riggering at times. Love the offline feature. 2. I really wish you guys worked on the 'Draw' logistics. Spending 30min, playing one player who doesn't want to accept a draw and keeps moving away from your pieces and moving one piece up and down in the corner, is really frustrating. 3. I really wish there were more chat options? chats we could buy with the coins we earn? I don't know.
