User friendly. Easy to browse nearby showtime, add food for pick up. Just a few clicks and movie with snacks and drinks will be ready for pick up just before the movie starts. No more lines, no more stress. Food ordering can be difficult to navigate, I wanted to go back to the ordering screen to add more snacks. I pressed the back button and it took me out of order screen all together. Unrelated offers pop up upon completion of purchase. Trying to sell subscriptions and credit card offers.

I love our local Cinemark theater, and have found good value in being a movie club member. however, the app can be really buggy and frustrating. It's great when it works, but aggravating when it doesn't. The last time I tried to purchase tickets, I had to do it on the website because I couldn't get the app to work. The tickets I had selected kept showing up as taken, and even though I deleted them from my cart and started over, it wouldn't let me select them again.

it used to be great. I was a movie club subscriber for years and I finally pulled the plug BECAUSE of the app. It is now filled with ads, it crashes, when you add tickets to your cart and go to check out it will be empty and then you have to wait for those seats to become available again so you can finish what you were doing. And for whatever reason it just absolutely refuses to save my login info, saves the biometrics just to take you to the email and password login.... it's obnoxious.

I really wish I had better experiences with the Cinemark App because I am using it weekly and there is an issue getting tickets 90% of the time. Main problem is not being able to complete a purchase due to an "error," after which the seats I selected show as taken even though they aren't. I always have to go back & try again 10-15 mins later, at which time the tickets I initially chose show as available. The error also occurs multiple times in a row on occasion. The website isn't any better.

Honestly the app crashes on me and logs me out constantly despite me clicking the keep me logged in every time. And sometimes it's to the point I have to login to the website because the app just will not work at all. One time, every time I tried to login, I went through the process, it looked like I was logged in, and then the moment I tried to buy tickets it said I needed to login. But when the app actually works, it's a decent app and easy to navigate

App changes the date you selected. Thanks to this app I lost money by paying for empty seats. It's too easy to end up on a date you didn't select when cycling through different shows times. Please make this clearer, when you are looking at a different day. Very frustrating and the policy is they won't refund. I don't enjoy paying for empty seats.

Mostly reliable, but you can't see any reference to a movie rewards movie ticket reward (redeemed with points) on the checkout page and you can't decide how many available movie credits you want to use. If I want to use credits for the adults and just pay for the children because that's cheaper than the monthly price of the movie Rewards club, then I have to make two transactions, one using credits and one paying separate. Unnecessarily inconvenient.

It's a terrible app. I continually have to sign in and go through the two-step verification at unexpected moments. It moves slowly which makes things difficult if it decides it makes you want to sign in when you're in line at the theater to show your ticket. I have never been so frustrated, and reinstalling the app doesn't make anything better.

I left a great review before but now I have to edit it. it would be great if you didn't have to continuously have to go through the entire process of choosing a theater, picking a movie, updating a cart that you have absolutely no access to except when doing all of these things. you need access to whatever is in your cart. also a one click purchase button would resolve all of these repeating steps. Not too happy right now!

Lately, I have not been able to sign in to my account. I will click on it, put in my information and it will always redirect back to saying there was an error try again later. I have updated it, uninstalled and reinstalled it and I'm still having the same issue. Really sucks that I can't get my rewards or see what I have on the app. Before all of this, the app was great and super helpful!

The app will randomly log me out sometimes for no reason. I have 2FA on, biometrics as well. Everytime I relog back in, it says "Remember this device" but it also still forces me to put in a code I received via email or text to confirm i'm me despite the numerous times I've selected to remember my device or the number of times I've had to go through this process. "Remember this Device" is one of the biggest lies the app sells. Edit: 3 weeks later, still the same issue, no response

edit: fix this trash now. I go in to buy tickets just to tell me my cart is empty. so when I back out to go add them to my cart, they are unavailable because the system thinks someone's trying to buy them. Then you have to wait 10 minutes just to hope they are still available for you to snag again. it's very annoying. app could use some work. It crashes or kicks me out sometimes, but nothing too big. I dig the movie rewards! it's a great monthly movie rewards program.

This app has more technical issues than apps that are 100% free: clearing out food orders, making you start over, and loading slowly while other apps work great. Also, the amount of ads they hit you with for third-party businesses AFTER you just purchased a ticket is ridiculous. It's unnecessary to have me click "No thanks" to four different offers every single time, especially if I'm a loyalty member and pay a monthly fee. I'm here to watch a movie... not apply for a credit card.

App is generally great. I can easily view movie times and book tickets. There are just 2 things I would like to see improved. If you exit your cart before checkout, you cannot return to it without re-booking your tickets and concessions. When you do, you've doubled what you've added & if you don't catch it, you're paying for double the concessions. You cannot order food and beverage after the movie has started from the app, despite this being an advertised benefit to being a member.

Extra charges on everything (The processing fee costs more than a ticket; extra charge on concession even if I'm picking it up). Highly disappointing process. It really doesn't seem worth going to the theater anymore. At least things were saved to my cart, but if I backed up at all, I had to go through the whole process again just to access the cart. Makes no sense.

The app doesn't have "cart" that you can reserve tickets and return to purchase if you want to look for other tickets to buy before purchasing them all together. Thus, all your "reserved tickets" that you save are not visible, and going back to re-select them keeps them from being available since you already put them in the "black hole" of reserved movie ticket space. Uggggh. They were the last available tickets for that show...very disappointed. It was going to be for a last minute date night.

I don't have too many complaints about this app. I've never had an issue with tickets purchased and it's now my preferred way of getting movie tickets. The app is easy to navigate, it can run slow sometimes. Sometimes the food orders don't go through or can get lost. Although in my experience the staff of our theater has been good with handling those instances. Overall, it's a good app if you're a movie-goer. I love the membership too.

Totally useless app. There is no point having an app that logs you out every time, then makes you go dive into other apps on your phone so you can log in . Furthermore, why have food ordering when only two items are available to order online? Example. You can order a popcorn and soda combo, but you can't just order popcorn. Or just a soda. Doesn't make any sense other than forced upsell.

Overall I like the app, it's the only thing I use to book movies. The biggest gripe I have is that for some reason, I can never see the full food menu. Ordering ahead and skipping the line is a huge benefit, but if I want to order nachos or something similar, I have to wait in line, which negates any convenience provided by ordering with the app. If that was fixed, it would be 5 stars.

The App is just like the theater, absolutely wonderful! It is easy to use! It is not always as fast as I want it to be, especially when showing my membership code at checkout. However, the app gives you a full breakdown of your membership and rewards and is just great. You get real time seating options and have access to Cinemark theaters all over the US.
