Honestly, I have to say this game is pretty annoying. There is an ad after every. single. move. I get that it's a free download, but you can buy things in the game! I understand if there was an ad or two every once in a while, but I stopped playing because there are just too many ads. Maybe if you have patience you can play, but not me. Other than the ads, it's pretty great though.

Way too much emphasis on silly games and "rewards" - the rewards take 30 seconds to move past and all for 1 measly coin and 1 out of 600 necessary points to earn a new (generic and lame) tile style. Up the rewards and offer a more adult (mature) type of interface! I love the game, just would prefer a classier offering. I am a retired educator. I'm over the 'games''!

I love this game. I remember playing it and not being interrupted so often. The ads are awful. As soon as you complete a word, you have to wait a minute or so to get through these ads to be quite specific, the Temu ads are awful. You're in there for like, two minutes waiting for it to go away most times I get frustrated and just get out of the app. I am about to delete it. Some changes need to be made a s a p. I am not paying a lot of money for ad free gaming. Back to my reg gaming system I go✌

I like the game. I always have. it's the same. only problem is they SELL you items that will supposedly remove the ads. And they don't work. ive emailed them, no response. so o suppose it's cool if you don't mind add. Or closing out your window after every turn. if someone doesn't get ahold of me soon. I'm gonna be looking for anther game to play

A lot of functionality problems :1. Too many commercials between each play. 2. Cannot watch commercials to earn coins as they will not play 90% of the time. Very frustrating!!. 3. When making a move with a selected player, the app moves the game to another player before I make my move. This is bad app maneuvers. I like "Scrabble Go" much better. It has a lot better helps with options to avoid commercials for 30-60 minutes at a time at no cost (except to watch a commercial).

2/6/26 I have been playing this game for years now. I have the version without ads. I've noticed lately that things that were included with this now cost extra. For example, word strength is extra. Coins are also hard to earn. You pretty much have to purchase them. There's also another upgraded version. Very disappointing.

There's an ad every time your turn ends, and the ad has to play for at least /5/ seconds before you can attempt to find the tiny button to exit it. I wish I could pay to remove ads permanently, but it's $10 to remove ads for only 30 days! The app takes forever to boot up, even if you swap over to a new app and swap right back, it reloads for another 12 seconds. It's also much more difficult to get free coins then you could back in 2018 - 2020, you now only get 3 - 5 per day.

The pop up ads are annoying. and charging by the month to block the ads is crazy. let me pay a one time fee to block the ads!!!!!!!!! Still very annoyed by the pop-up ads and you never responded to my review. why should I have to pay $10 a month to block ads when you could charge a one-time fee and be done with it. I'm almost ready to give up this game.

There are a couple of things I find really annoying about this app. One of them being, there are times when you I to swap letters w points, just to find that it's not working and doesn't allow me to do it. Another issue is that it takes too many points to swap letters. A third, is that there are very few extra game options you can play. Word Play pops up only every few days. I'm getting ready to get out of this app too many downsides to it.

don't like the 'random' letter picking. its not random, when you get all vowels, or no vowels. Getting coins for watching ads, doesn't always work, and they put a limit on them. They 'give' all the useless things, that you don't need, or use...stickers, badges, color tiles, etc. We just want to play the game! Fix the 'Random' tiles...definitely NOT random!

You clicked the big "X" obviously you want to go to the app store, right? Its still a fun game, but man these ads have gotten completely out of control. The same very long, very annoying ads for games I'll never want that you have to click out of in 4 different ways before it will actually go away. Its enough to make playing this game not even worth it.

This app is 5% fun, 95% annoying. I like the game itself, but so sick of the ads that force you to the app store. No way to avoid that. Idgaf about ads, but I want to click X and move on, no such options here. It also sends SO many USELESS notifications. I turn notifications off for every app for this reason, but this app has the stupid "Come play our game!" notifications mixed in with "your move" to where I just don't even get to enjoy the game anymore.

I used to Love playing this game. But they have installed a update that covers up part of the bottom right part of the game so it makes it harder to retrieve letters when you want to retrieve them. It moves around weirdly. Now, the commercials take over and dont let you back in the game. It takes forever to upload the game. It feels as though Im being sacked down a tunnel instead of playing.

I had this app a few years ago. I recently re-downloaded it, only to remember why I deleted it. It's an obnoxious about of ads! There are even double the amount now then when i played before. I play a lot of games online, and I think this one takes the cake with the most aggressive, annoying ads. I don't mind ads, as I understand this is how you make money, but come on now...this is outrageous!

Trash game. Over many phones and OS versions it still finds a way to turn down volume automatically. The ads are so intrusive you have no choice but to close out of the app and restart it because there's no way to get back to the game even after it forces you to google play (I suggest leaving bad reviews on apps that run non-exiting ads on other apps aswell). Mostly bots, even the one's that don't seem obvious.

I just reinstalled this app after a ten year hiatus, and I've got to say it's overwhelming. I don't need or want any additional features other than playing the actual game with actual friends. But the worst part is the ads. I'm fine with ads showing up in games in general, but there is no way to close most of the ads that come up without force-quitting the app. Very annoying. Needs to be fixed.

This game is fun, but it's the most annoying app I've ever had on my phone. I have every notification setting turned off, and I get dozens of notifications a day. Every one is worded like "time is running out! play now!" I got one 10 seconds after I laid in bed, saying "sleep is overrated when you could be playing!" I play one game with my wife, and we both play maybe 2 words per day. Ads are ridiculous, it constantly starts new games for you even if you turn the setting off.

Tried to come back after a few years to see if they had fixed the ad problem. NOPE! Way too many ads! Not just an ad here and there, but literally an ad after EVERY play you make. Sometimes you can't back out of them. I had to uninstall this game (again). Note to developers: the game has also gotten too 'busy' with all the extra colors, options, add-ons, prizes, etc. I just want to play the word game. Don't care about all the fancy extra stuff.

Great game if you have the patience to wait out the rewards points notifications. It asks if you want to skip all the points they offer and if you select that option, it ignores you and goes through a repetitive offer of points which I'm not interested in. If you select 'next' it repeats process all over again. That goes on for several minutes. It is quite maddening when all you want to do is play the game. If it says 'skip all' why doesn't it actually skip those annoying rewards points?

Solo Challenge is what I love, and I'm even willing to pay $18 a month for no ads and other great perks. However, there are always problems. Sometimes the ticket counter just stops or shows the wrong number of tickets. I see another version allows the tickets to accumulate beyond 30, but I don't know how to get that. As others said, Solo Challenge often gives all vowels or no vowels, making competitive play impossible without buying.It used to be random tiles and the Challengers got stronger.
