Clean My House

I've been using this app for years and I LOVE it. My only issue is that there is no dark mode. The widget is dark, but if you tap on the widget to open the app, you are blinded with a white screen for the full list. I assumed this was because I use the free version and not the premium, but I don't see that on the list of premium features. Also, the last time I switched phones, I had to completely recreate everything. I'm sad to see being a premium member won't fix that either.

For the most part, I do like this app. And I have been using it on and off for many years. My big struggle with this app is that I cannot manually change the order of the tasks. They have 3 organization categories (time of day, category, and task name) that you choose the order of priorty for. The way my brain works, I prefer to have them set individually by myself in the order of which I will most likely do the task and not have them forcibly lumped together by room. I'm looking for a new app.

Love this app!! I no longer have to ask myself when the last time I cleaned out the fridge, watered the plants, changed the kitty liter, etc. because the app has it all recorded and will let me know when I need to do it next. I actually find myself getting excited about what will pop up on my notification to clean that day! Very flexible, easy to put off a chore till next month or move it ahead of schedule without messing things up. Free version is great as is but bought premium to show support.

I like that I can categorize and really break down jobs around the house and to be able to spread things throughout the week so I'm not trying to get everything done in one day. The only part that I am not happy with is the option for setting a reminder.. which I have.. yet I receive no reminders. I've applied them.. removed them.. checked my phone settings.. nothing. What's the point of offering reminders if they don't remind you?

I really like how this app allows me to break things down into tiny steps. My biggest gripe would be the lack of cross-device syncing. I would like to be able to input on my Chromebook (because it's easier to type on), and then have the list on my phone (which is more portable). It's enough of a hindrance for me personally to make me regret paying for the premium version.

I have had the free app for a few years now on a few different phones. I love the simplicity of the design and how customizable the tasks are. The widgit give me easy, quick access to see what is coming up, or what I've missed! As a self-confessed slob it's helped me organize some bigger chores to manageable bite-sized chunks and checking tasks off feels so rewarding! I switched phones recently and was even able to transfer my save data from one phone to the other. Very happy with this app!

this really helps me to stay on track. my only suggestion is to be able to view history--i.e. select date on a calendar and see all the chores that were completed that day. sometimes seeing what I've accomplished previously motivates me to keep going! I bought the full version which was awesome too get started. I love how you've made it easy to edit the template you get with the full version to be able to totally customize to your needs. thank you so much! to those considering it, get it!

I've used the app for 3 years and have enjoyed it. It definitely helps me keep track of my cleaning. The manual process of restoring backup to my new phone however has been nothing but painful. After following the directions word for word and manually transfering the cmh files, I get nothing. I'm afraid I'll have to start all over.

I have been using this app for well over a year and love it! The customizable tasks paired with the already made master list made it easy for me to begin using. I absolutely adore the timer function. Housework is a beast and with the timer I can make a game of the work and try to beat my own time. What I would really, really love is to link my personal cleaning list with other family members so they can mark theirs off when completed. We could even make a game of that!

Edit: this app is getting worse, just like run my life. The so called improvements are the opposite to me. And the new widgets look awful. Awesome app! Had a problem with language settings, mailed and it was fixed within a day, excellent service.

Edit - down to 1 star. The backup does not work for moving to a new phone. Other users have stated this too and there is no fix. What I was looking for. Perfect clean interface to track daily weekly etc. chores.

The method for backup and restore DOES NOT WORK to transfer data to another phone, as Android won't let you copy anything to system files. We need the capacity to create and restore a backup to/from any folder of choice. Otherwise it's useless. I've just lost lots of data.

simple, customizable, essential. one of the few apps I have found valuable enough to buy the paid version of. cleaning tasks, home maintenance and car maintenance tasks, everything goes in here. my one wish would be that they allow multiple people to access one list, so a house could share chore history.

I used to love this app, it was my most used app by far and made my life so much easier, I even got to paid version I was so impressed, which I never do! BUT my phone broke yesterday and so I installed it on another device. That was when I discovered that it does not back up and so I have lost all my progress. Some jobs I only do every 6 months and I had over 50 jobs on there, which will take time to remember as I input the as they arose and I didn't make a note elsewhere. Gutted.

I've been looking for an app like this for years. installed it a few days ago, and am only using the free version but I love it. I'm not sure about what advantages premium offers. only one I can tell is the free one you have to type your own list. so I'm extremely happy with the app and the free option, especially as I can't afford any subscriptions. brilliant app! a tutorial about how to set up would be great, but that might come with premium.

Brilliant App, really user friendly and has helped organise all the things I usually keep in my head! It's great to be able to tick them off a list as I go. Only upgrade I would like to see is the ability to share the app (and contents) with other members of my household so they may also help with the chores!...making it available on family library would solve this.

This app has saved my sanity! I was getting overwhelmed trying to remember all the things that needed to get done. Took me about 30 minutes to load all the tasks, set the days and repeats. I set it up so all the tasks are broken down and total time I spend on housework is less then an hour a day! The house has never looked better and I am no longer overwhelmed!

It used to be great but something has happened now it sets random filters so I can no longer view my day reliably and have to log out and back in again to remove them. I don't put them on, and even when I clear them they stick. I did pay for the full version, which I felt was good value and worth doing at the time, but wouldn't now it has this bug.

Great app, does exactly as I need it to. Would be better if I could set actual times for tasks as well, and better yet, if you could make a shared account, so other people in a household can all see the tasks and work on them as well. But it does the basic job. Will help me tackle housework whilst pregnant and with a toddler running around. Great for making routine and patterns.

I use to have this on my old phone, I love this app, it keeps me movitivated and helps me keep track, loyal member since it cane out, I just lost it when my old phone broke, but I'm back.... Keep the good work up. The only thing I would suggest on the free side, could you add the days of week, so we can just click on the day No complaints at all...
