Pros: Easy setup, proof of insurance and policy info right on your phone, you can pay within the app. Cons: No easy access to customer service within the app (although they are great when you contact them) you have to do extra steps to find the link, the payment interface is a little weird in that it always looks like you owe money (although it says "upcoming payment above it in small letters), and they don't have a web interface so you are forced to use their app.

The ClearCover app is a basic one and easy to navigate. It does exactly what it needs to do and is very reliable. I cannot complain. I've had ClearCover for over 2 years and have never had a single problem. When I had to mske a claim, I didn't have to speak to a single person on the phone at all throughout the process.. Which is always the best. Along with the app always functioning how it should, this company has the most affordable car insurance ever. Highly recommend.

I find it super annoying that you can't do partial payments or even double payments. If it's not the current due amount or full balance you have no other options. I also find it stupid annoying that I had to wait until my renewal date to submit a payment because it kept telling me I had a zero balance which caused me to pay late. This app/company can use some major upgrades for things thats literally offered EVERYWHERE!

I started with clear cover and it was nice. Then when my policy renews I was supposed to get a discount for having paid on time and never missing a payment. Instead they raised my costs. I called and ask why they just told me that it was them not me that caused the price to be raised but they did nothing to notify me. Now I'm paying almost 10 dollars more instead of ten less. Pretty deceptive and dishonest practice. I'll be switching insurance companies after this period.

This has been a great ins company for me. They take everything into account when giving u a price and I got discounts that no other company found for me. Thank u Clear Cover! I would like to add that they do charge u $5.00 for paying w ur credit card, which I think is stupid, but hey, it still don't add up to what I was paying.

Basic. But I mean that in the best way. The app keeps everything simple, easy to understand, most info ou ever need is going to be on the first page when you sign in so you won't need to scramble throughout the app trying to hunt down info when you need it. There are some personal changes and additions I'd personally add but that's just preferences. If you have the insurance, I definitely recommend having this app.

App navigation is not perfect. Great prices!!! I pay $113 for two drivers age 25 on one vehicle. FULL coverage ( just no rental, no aaa). Much better than geicos $300 quote and progressives $210 with basic insurance (I had been with them for many many years). Edit to add: Not a 'terrible' app icon per say. But another color for the C would be more pleasing to the eye! Just one opinion. :)

Only leaving one star to get attention of developer, but really love this insurance and app! I've had clear cover for almost a year now with no issues either with company or app, yesterday my Avast antivirus app (which I've had installed on the same device as this app for about 4 months) detected malicious code within the clear cover app. Could be a mistake, but wanted to bring to it to attention in the event that it's not. But otherwise, go clear cover!!

I'm so happy I finally found an insurance company that stands behind their word... The quote that I received stayed the same when I purchased the policy. I've never had any other company do that their payment always increased once I purchased it. I also love the app it very easy to use n I love the fact I was able to do everything online instead of having to go in person or over the phone. Keep up the good work!!! Thanks!!!!!!! 😀

We were for new insurance, and were about to use a competitor. Geico seemed to have the best rate. But as we were purchasing it, they said, oh by the way - the price is now $200 more than what we quoted you! Seriously? But Clearcover quoted us a great rate, and didn't jack up the price at purchase. They're trustworthy.

Could not be any easier to navigate through and pay for car insurance or take a peak at your policy or show a digital copy of your ID Card to a police officer. The only thing that needs to change is to have the ability too add to or subtract from your policy through the app like other companies do. Other than adding that freedom you can't beat this app for how simple they have made it and without still give it 5stars because its a damn good app for damn good priced insurance.

Do not pay with a credit/debit card. When the card expires you cannot change your payment settings. When you call they give you a new quote that costs twice as much. That is if you can get through to them. I've been put on hold 3 times for over an hour. 4 years of payments with no claims and they ghost you. This company has no regard for their customers.

The Clearcover app is user friendly and has an attractive format. Provided everything we have needed so far. Policy declaration page for lienholder, ID cards, ability to make payment early and change payment method. There is a section for starting a claim, but hopefully will not need it for awhile, if at all. Very happy with things so far! Discovered today after 7 months of use that app will not allow a credit card added. Suggests a call for support, but support is closed. Not convenient.

I've been a Clearcover customer for over a year and and I really enjoyed it! The premiums are not as high as others and the towing services provided are very helpful for when my vehicle broke down. I really enjoy the fact that there is someone you can text freely without having the pick up the phone and call because some people are really busy and they don't have the time to be able to spend and call people. With this type of text system, you just as a question or leave a message and when the rep has free time they will reply to you. And when you as the customer has free time, then you can reply back to them too and everything is in writing so there is no need to repeat back a question or something like that. Keep up the good work guys. Hope you will be available in more states too!

The app is easy to maneuver around. The thing that bothers me is the payment portion. I owe $155. The app said $388 was due. I know it's not as I paid for August when my plan renewed. Also the app will say I'm auto enrolled for payments causing me to call every pay period to make sure I'm not because I know for certain I unenrolled. I like that they are reachable on the weekends as I once had an insurance company that wasn't so that's a place.

The app is ok. I just don't understand why for the past week I've tried to pay the renewal. I wanted to pay it in full so I would get the discount. But it wouldn't let me. So at midnight on the due date of the renewal it took out the 1st payment and I had to make a second payment to pay the rest forcing me to loose the quoted discount for paying in full. Smh

8/25/24 NOT loving this company as much as I did a year ago. Premium goes up every renewal and I've had to ask them TWICE to take my payment off of auto( they keep adding it without my permission) I've had ZERO accidents or tickets in 30 years and drive a 2005 truck that is paid for... unexceptable UPDATE: Checked my app to see when payment was due. Showed NO payment due. Just happened to check my email this morning and it says I have a payment due TODAY! WTH is going on!! Glad I checked !

Customer service phone number is an AI that just sends you to their website. Their website is useless for customers and you can only use the app for anything client related. literally the worst car insurance company I've ever had.

It's great for making payments but if you have to change something it's mission impossible.
