This app is software gore. I tried to create an account, but received the error "unable to verify email address". I'm using a valid gmail account. I went to the website (off the app) and was able to sign up. I returned to the app to login, and received an error "contact support". Deleted cache and storage and tried again, same error. No thanks. Maybe I'll give it a shot in a year or two if they're still around.
Like someone else said. Am going to be objective, no free trial? Very weird The games? Very childlike and don't exactly scream 300+ dollars a year Expensive? Very Does it look like it has a lot of potential? Sure, despite the reviews, I still gave it a go, but the games are silly, price far too high, and no free trial. Respectfully, ridiculous.
I was really excited to use this app, but unfortunately I guess it doesn't run correctly. When I tried to start my very first task, it stayed on "installing task & tasks" all night long. Nothing installed. I tried restarting the app, still nothing.
Truly a wonderful training program. The games are engaging and fun, the art style is really well done. The choice of music is great for the games, offering the right atmosphere. Well researched, tutorials are clear and easy to understand, wide variety of topics to choose from and even includes meditations. Thank you for spending the time and effort in developing this program.
3d game not explained well. Sometimes the squares are difficult to work in word game. overall the games are ok
EDIT:: The problem has been resolved! Thank you to the app developers for reaching out to assist me with this issue. 5* service! When trying to do the initial assessment, when it comes to the page where I select my diagnoses, it won't let me scroll up, down, select what I need to, or even continue. I can't get past that part at all. I tried going to the website and it redirected me to the app where I am having issues.
Unlike other popular brain apps, this one doesn't offer free games with progression, no daily workouts. Just a bunch of tests that like to ruin your confidence. There seems to be a lot going on behind the paywall, but I'm not keen to pay after what I've seen so far.
Excellent tool for cognitive skills training.
Cogni is an interesting app. the assessment though are teating for diffrent things but use the same test so it is repetitive. the games i played are alright. i did have the problem for taking the intital assessment that i could not scroll down when ot was asking about diagnosed conditions and won't let you go back when om that page you have to close the app and even woth that i am still not able to scroll down to go to the next page.
Trained Skills doesn't seem to reflect what skills are being affected by the end of the training. Everytime I try to check out a training and click the X to look for another, I end up on the Stats tab, rather than going back to where I were (Train). It is inconvenient. Lastly I think it is in poor taste that even though I pay for a fairly expensive monthly subscription, I have to pay for individual assesments (one time use) that are WAY too expensive.
Just tried it for the first time because I read that it was one of only a couple of brain training apps that have been scientifically tested. I didn't enjoy the games as much as with Luminosity but I didn't mind them. I found that I really like the Mahjong matching game but the other two free games are boring after playing once or twice as it's just the same thing over and over. I would enjoy the games more if they had more variety and a clear goal that you can meet or at least see being accomplished rather than just trying to do the same thing correctly over and over.
The App seems fairly interesting and fun, however, I can only play for 4 min at a time because I constantly get the "installing games and tasks" notification. The games don't seem to wanna install in the background meaning I end up waiting and losing interest. This is only for the 4 free minigames as the rest are via paid subscription, which I assume means much more of the same.. I'd rather just download all once then have to be told after trying to do assessments that I have to wait again.
untested and broken UI design. During the questionnaire, a list of diseased and disorders is presented. on my screen, a Galaxy S24 Ultra, there is no button that allows me to advance to the next question. the app dead-ends on that question.
really good, but i wish the paid games had like a lock or something visual so we'd know to not accidentally click them. It would be nice to add
The app fails to run past the start button. My email address is correct, I have validated it and logged in correctly. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app. I received a text message asking if my email address was correct, despite the fact it had been validated. A message to the app help repeatedly failed to send. After 2 days I can't be bothered with it any further.
it just froze and stopped working, was half way through the test and it just froze, tried restarting the app and everytime it froze at the same point
Enjoyable until the fuelling station game, which seems non-responsive in part. And if you don't get the target score for a game, you get locked out for 24 hours. When returning to the app after this time, I usually end up having to play the fuelling game and encounter the same problems
Takes very very long to load games... I tapped the the button to begin the game and it took so long to load I fell asleep like for 3 hours and when I woke up IT WAS STILL LOADING!?? I took the initial assessment but the first game didn't even want to open... Very disappointed and unsatisfied, please fix this.
Buyer Beware!!! The app is full of glitches. Many games including mandala randomly get stuck and you get sent back to your phone's home screen. When you restart the app you have to start again with the same glitchy game. It's mental torture in the name of mental health!! They won't refund the subscription money. My guess is that it's because they know they can't get any willing customer to pay for it so they have to keep money from whoever they were able to defraud into paying once. Never again!
Just Excellent! Seriously. Try it. My small one uses everyday, have actually diagnosed him via this. Could not put my finger on what his issue was but knew it was not something regular. Just from their tools on their site I have been able to pin point it down to a particular part of a visual processing disorder. It was visual sequencing and spatial issues. Not memory issue/social issue/or dyscalculia which I what school told me. Using cognifit to strengthen these skills. Thanks for empowerment!
