Positives: Can change beginning & end dates of collection. I break my colle tion onto subsets so its great for that. Ability to delete certain coins from a range. (They didn't make a 1942 D silver nickel.) Simple design & graphics. Negatives: need more options for images of the reverse (Wheat cents, shield nickel etc) Updated to 5 stars with the added collections. Still would like to see more images of the reverse of certain coins, but it's the best checklist type app I've found.
Super handy way to keep track of your coin collection! This has been very useful for times when I'm out at flea markets, coin shows, or rummaging through pocket change to see what coins my collection may be missing. My only gripe currently is that some coin series are still missing from the list (shield nickels, half dimes, 3 cent pieces, and large cents come to mind). Aside from that, keep up the great work! This app is a fave.
On the surface, this is a nice app. Easy to use, count of each coin, grade. However, there are significant details lacking. You can only pick 1 grade for any one coin type even if you have 2 or more. Many of the older coins are not supported, like flying eagle cents, half penny, 2 cent, 3 cent, half dime, etc. Even on the coins that are presented, many of the varieties are not, like large vs. small date. And the many proofs available are unrepresented.
Great app. Works really well, and the way it is set up makes it easy and fun to look through my albums to update my lists. Hoping to see more coins in the future, beyond the us coins. Update: Still loving this app. No ads, and it's very simple and intuitive. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I would love to see a banner ad so that the creator makes some money from this, and is insentivised to add more coins (such as the new quarters, or non-us coins). I would even pay up to $3 to see more!
Absolutely love this app. I've used it many coin shows and have had other collectors ask about it. Will be trying out the expert/ import feature. I'm guessing it was implemented for the people who change phones. I also would like to add additional collections but I have a work by using the indian cents cents collection and changing the dates for large, half, 2&3 cents. The ability to add custom collections would be great. I collect certain Canadian, French and Mexican coins.
Outstanding app for quick reference to inventory on the go. I use it when going to local coin shops and coin shows and have received numerous inquiries about it. Love how quick and easy it is to add a coin to inventory. I use something else for managing my collection, but for inventory on the go this is the best app out there. One addition I'd love to see is an ability to add a Misc collection where you select year range and mints to include and can upload a stock photo for the collection.
5 star app and this is why...it's very easy to organize and keep collections separated. This app allows you to make your collection category and name it what you want. I put in 5 different collection categories for the half dollar. It lets you add coin slots and import/export without running into an ad or paying obscene amounts just to save and reorder our collection. I'm so excited about this app. I will be putting in some hours today logging all my husband's coins. Thank you to the app. 👍
WOW!!!! What a great app, probably best collection-type app I've worked with! The fact that it let's you "manipulate" dates so you can fine-tune your field(s) of interest or collections, is just terrific. Revision of rating 6/30/24: IMPORTANT: If you later tinker with the title of your collection(s), you WILL loose ANY coin additions that you put in yourself. BE AWARE, DO NOT MAKE TITLE CHANGES AND UPDATE, it's lethal!! I had to redo all my additions... 4 stars, hope to give 5 again soon
Very handy for quick reference to your collection when out and about. I agree with an earlier mention that there should be a spot for "W" mint coins - especially with the 2019 & 2020 short-run West Point quarters already floating about. That, and an update for the upcoming 2021 coins. Other than that, it's been an invaluable tool for me while scrounging through change every night. (Counting cash drawers is a wonderful chance to score some good coins). Very happy with this app.
I LOVE♥️ LOVE ♥️ LOVE ♥️ THIS APP!!! This app is a very handy and convenient reference in my phone of the coins I have and the ones I still need. Much better than having to carry around a little spiral notebook, like I used to. I also like that it shows images of the coins. If I happen to get change, I look the coins up to see if I already have them or not and that determines whether or not I will spend it. Some of them are hard to come by.
I like the collections and photos of the coins, but as others have mentioned, some coins and coin types are not available. This could be remedied by allowing user additions and customizations, including the ability to photograph or scan coins to add of not present. A finite custom group would temporarily enable the addition of a few unique selections, though would require more complex dynamic groups, only limiting additions to available resources (memory, SQL tables, etc.) No $2-1/2 gold coins
This app is supposed to let you keep tract of the coins you have, but it only goes up to year 1998. 22 years are not able to be entered and not all coins are listed in the San Francisco mint years. After inputting the coins you have, any collection can not be edited as far as what you initially saved it as, so you need to start the list all over again.
Great app, I use it a lot to help remember what coins I already have in my albums. My only issues are there are some coin series missing. there is also no way to make custom collections for type sets.
This is a great app for when I am out and about. I have multiple collections for my wife, my kids, and myself and this app lets me quickly see which coins I need and for which kid when I am looking at my change. I also like that I can add coins to collections. I added the W quarters to my National Parks collection, for example. You can also put in grade and notes for coins. Minor requests: please add some of the earlier US coins and please add the ability to move coins around in a collection.
I love this app! However, you should be able to put a checkmark in a box that "Allows space for San Francisco-minted coins" in the "Add New Collection" tab under "Eisenhower Dollars". FYI, a lot of people still don't know this, but from '71 to '76, quite a few Eisenhower Dollars were composed of Silver-Clad (aka 40% silver, 60% copper), along with a few '76-S Bicentennial Halves and a few '76-S Bicentennial Quarters! Would love to see these checkmarks added to the app! Thanks, in advance!
Great Mobile Coin Tool that can be used while out and away from your collection. Sometimes I stop into antique shops and such, when I find any coins, I can look them up on the spot to determine if I need that one. Additionally, you can edit the coins in the app, to add West Point minted coins. I'm sure the same can be done for other mints, coins such as New Orleans, Carson, etc.
This is the best app I have found for tracking your collection. It is easy to track coins from Philly, Denver, and SF mints. The only thing I wish it would allow me to do is change the beginning and ending dates for all collections. It allows it for some collections but not for all. This is a minor thing though and this is still far and away the best coin app I have found

The Coin Collection App has been by far, the greatest coin collection app out there. The whole app set up and the options for managing your çoin collection, is made simple, gives all the information about the coin, and even allowed me to customize my collections. Download this app! You will be nothing but satisfied and proud to show off your coin collection.
Very good, easy to use, lots of coins Edit: Been using this for probably a year now and this new update is amazing!!! Now there is more way more collections, new pictures (you can change coin picture too) and tons more. This is my personal favorite way of tracking coins. You can also edit offline. Thank you very much for making this app.
I love the app overall. Also should be able to keep track of older coins and some smaller things like the 1942 Jefferson Nickel varieties and 1982 Lincoln Cent varieties. Edit: The developer listened to us! They adjusted the app so that we may edit albums that are already made and they automatically added the 2021 coins to albums of current coins! Now I'm just waiting for older coins like Large Cents and Seated Coins and some major varieties.
