CoinMarketCap: Crypto Tracker

I like it when it works. I have many problems with the portfolio. Get errors that a coin cannot be saved. Get errors that it's not available. Tonight I was viewing my portfolio and it flashed and all my coin entries were gone. Looks like I need to set them all up again. Grrrrr! UPDATE: The price chart and balance show vastly different amounts for my portfolio. Now this app is totally useless!

After the last update, I can't login into my account. Also I'm having problems with my portfolio news updates, I can't even click on the tab, once I do it just crashes. Edit:2022. So I have been using the app after my last review. And overall it has been good to keep track of basic percentages, but there is a problem I stumbled upon. It would be great if there was a option for "swapping", since there isn't known I have to resort to "transfer in", but this give you a wrong "profit/loss" percent.

I set up an account on my desktop PC, and it works as expected. But trying to log into the app, I was got into repeated cycles of email verification. Following instructions in the email, I reset the password on my phone. When trying to log into the app again, it said my account and password combo does not exist. It also bumped me out the desktop account too. I need to verify the desktop account to get in. Still no luck with the app. Very annoying!

You guys NEED to do an overhaul of your login system, it is the worst in the crypto industry. A month later and I still cannot recover my account due to the glitches on YOUR end. Won't let me reset my password, keeps saying error occured. Can't log in. Can't recover. Email codes don't go through, error after error after error. Doesn't make a difference if I use the app or the website.

This app is okay. Nothing more. I have issues with everything, from viewing the price of cryptocurrencies (will straight up not load most of the time). And price tracking (will get notifications that the price is higher than it actually is). The portfolio works well, though it could honestly do with more features like seeing profit since a coin was bought at x price. Overall, a poor app.

Well, every day when I log in, my portfolio won't load. Then later in the day it will magically work. The last two days I've spent an hour each morning trying every browser, deleting caches and temp folders, signing in and out ... nothing works until randomly decides to do so. Oh, and today the android app won't let me sign in. Annoying when there is a perfect app, that you can't access.

I like the clean new look and the added features. But some of the glitches seem to have gotten worse. At first, it seemed that the horizontal indicators wouldn't move sometimes after being placed initially. I found that any indicator placed on any chart and left for some time becomes stuck and can't move anymore. The price line indicators sometimes disappear when moving the chart or zooming in or out. This seems to happen on any chart. If these bugs get fixed, it'd be golden!

Their data is wrong. For instance when you look up Shiba Token supply it's incorrect. I contacted them about it and they stated they were working on fixing it. Never did. Imagine all of the other incorrect data for others coins? How can you make trading decisions with wrong information. This app is no longer of value. You will lose money.

I don't like the newest version - 4.23.0. They don't have a "$" next to the totals in the portfolio screen, which would really be nice. The "all time profit" screen is only useful if you entered the info in precisely after you bought the crypto in question. I didn't, so that column is a waste of time. I don't get it, you people have to keep changing it for the sake of changing it. The portfolio screen has really taken a turn for the worst.

It seems like a really good app, but there are a few small but should be very easy additions it could add. Like I wish it allowed the option to only include the top 500 and 1000 coins by market cap into the search. Because the top 200 leaves out a lot of coins I follow, but the "All" option puts too many new or fake coins at the top of the list. The more important thing I wish it allowed was to create watchlists that can show on the widget based on the parameters we define in the search.

App was good for portfolio tracking. But like others have commented, the last update definitely made the app significantly worse for portfolio tracking. More than 80% of use was for portfolio tracking. It's the main reason I use Coinmarketcap. When looking at your portfolio you can't see the spot price of a crypto. Give us back the features we had before this terrible update. I hate the idea of migrating all the data to Coingecko.

The last update is garbage! The small pre line-graph was very convenient for a quick visual / acquisition but now it's gone. Also now when you click on a cryptocurrency and hold your finger on the main line-graph the price per coin does not change when sliding left or right, although it did work once but not now for whatever reason. It's got bugs homie. Used to be a quick and visually convenient way to stay on top of price but no more.

As an app, it's good, but as a decent customisable widget, boring. It has limited widget options and no transparency or chart colour settings. At least it supports dark themes, as I would have given it 2 out of 5, but still... meh and will look elsewhere 🫤

With the most recent update to the Android application I can no longer log in. This is not the first time an update from coinmarketcap has done this. SUPER FRUSTRATING! I'm working with their customer support. I'll change my rating if they can fix this.

CoinMarketCap is one of the most useful apps for anyone interested in cryptocurrency. The interface is clean, fast, and easy to navigate, even for beginners. Need To Upgrade Some Of The Things Of Apps There Is No 1 Minute, 3Minutes, 5 Minutes Candle. Add Some Latest Feature To The Application Otherwise Other Things Are Good.....

I don't know what problem you're having with your application, but I don't see any reason why I need to log in every minute. Please resolve your issues because it's causing a disruption.

Can't log in to the app when you have MFA. On the web two captchas appear, but in the app nothing happens after entering the TOTP.

I don't know what to say...Long story short, Wonderful app, great features, always trying to be as accurate as possible and that’s really good. Overall, if I could rate 6 stars I would.
