Collect by WeTransfer

I've been using this app a lot recently, to move items between my phone and laptop, but also to more easily group and store photos & videos. It's been really great, but the one function I wish was available is creating items that are just text. There is an option to paste things from your clipboard to create a new item, but you can't directly write & edit on the app which is unfortunate. I have mood boards and uni project boards, so I'd love to be able to add written text to them.

I use this app A LOT but am absolutely FRUSTRATED! I can add 2 files into a board and then it won't let me add anything else. I try uploading only pictures one by one, and it will just take me back to the same prompt instead of adding what I've chosen. It's getting to the point where I have to send multiple links instead of just ONE, which is so time-consuming, plus makes it harder for the recipients. FIX IT, or I'm unsubscribing.

As a creative professional I love everything about We. However, I rely heavily on curating inspiration for my work and creative process. We's Collect app massively misses the mark here. I'm find myself consistently returning to Evernote for reliability. Half the time Collect won't show images from links. It regularly doesn't show up as a share option on Android. It Syncs horribly. It's just a bad app. Disappointed I paid to upgrade for desktop access. Would love for We to get it right.

To say the app is a disappointment compared to the simplicity of the web version would be an understatement. Boards take FOREVER to upload even on WiFi and there doesn't seem to be a way to cancel out of an upload once it has started. It is a heavy drain on phone resources. I will continue to use the web version but I absolutely will not be using the app in the future.

I pay for a wetransfer subscription and I keep having uploading problems! It will get to 100% and say it was an error super waste of 30 mins. Also, why does it take so long to upload two 1min videos anyway? Also, why are we able to share a link when the files arent even uploaded yet? Everyone I share it with always asks that same question. ALSO, whats the point of having boards if everytime I want to share them it has to re-uploaded! The app should be like the website and save the files!

The changes are just terrible! I just want to send images not create boards! Ugh! It just took me over an hour to send 75 images and I finally gave up on sending more because it's too time consuming through the website. I never could grasp the app version. Please listen to your consumers. Whoever suggested and approved the changes is woefully incompetent!

App didn't work at all. Several attempts were made to share videos and not a single one worked. Only one video successfully uploaded after many attempts. My suggestion is to use bluetooth to pair your devices together and click the share button on photos and videos. Super fast 1gb video takes about a minute. This app takes nearly half an hour and you still get failed downloads. If you're not nearby than goodluck. I'd suggest Google Docs or Bluetooth over this app anyday.

At first when i discovered the app, it was like i had found a gold mine! It did everything i had ever wanted and mire! Now with the new update; all of a sudden the app doesn't work anymore on my phone. I can kinda get away around the glitches if i send something on my computer; but the phone version is completely useless. I really hope they work out whatever is wrong because i need this app in my life. Ugggh

Google pixel 8 pro - the close and login buttons are trapped in my nav bar, as a result back button or scrolling through the forced popup does nothing, and I can't access the app. though I can see when I click the back button the shared media space I was trying to access it forces me back into the popup with the inaccessible buttons. doesn't allow autorotate so can't get around this

I lost absolutely all my files, videos, and photos that I had saved for a while, and they were very important. Without changing my phone, without changing anything, I lost everything!

it's a good app that saves documents well. the only issue I have with the app is that some documents don't open in the app

I love using collect to share photo albums with others. Easy sharing and storing of photos.

This app would be so great, but it has many problems, for example, I uploaded some photos and videos in Boards, from my gallery, and after some time when I tried to look at those photos it said "Download failed", even if I tapped Try again it just wouldn't download the photos, basically I lost all those photos and videos. Other than this, sometimes when I try to share photos and videos from my gallery to the app it just doesn't upload them, that's so stupid.

This app is perfect if you want to loose all of your files with a single step. You just have to log out once and *magic* your files disappeared. Thanks to this great app I lost a lot of money as I had to scan almost all of my analogue pictures again. But there is more: as other reviewers have written, syncing takes hours and hours if it works at all. When syncing is stopped once (for example due to bad connection) you cannot start over. Also a lot of bugs e.g. doesn't let you log out/in.

This used to be a super simple and efficient way of sending larger files. The web version is still great, but this new version of the app is terrible. The update installed two app icons which possible pointed to the same thing, and it was nearly impossible to simply send a large file to a friend. Uninstalled. Time to go back to dropbox. Shame.

It may be that people prefer this app over the old wetransfer app, but for simple filesharing this app is a nightmare. Sharing creative ideas, yep, I can see the benefit in that. But simple file transfers or file sharing has become a lot more bothersome. What was wrong with selecting a couple of files and click send to share them with other people.

We transfer use to be great for transferring 100s of photos in under 5 minutes. Now they've changed everything making it a tedious task; you now have to create boards in order to send multiple photos, and you can only select one photo at a time to add to their board. In the past you use to be able to select photos straight from your gallery and send it right away. This is such a fail for wetransfer! The old version was a thousand times better! Whose genious idea was this?!?!?

Has a lot of bugs and glitches and not a lot of meaningfull feedback options. There are inbuilt deficiencies when it comes to syncing your boards via PC vs. app, certain content just won't show up, for instance web links. The app bugs so hard from time to time that your only option is to uninstall/reinstall it, and that's not a meaningful existence to have in the 21st century. All in all, sometimes good, just barely, but mostly not. Too bad, too too bad.

Nearly always fails to download content sent to me. I might as well use a browser to open sent files instead of this app and Google Drive/etc to host files. Once something has downloaded, the unintuitive GUI doesn't tell you that you have to SAVE the file (as most apps automatically do). It also doesn't save in the "download" folder on your phone, and there's no way to choose your save destination/folder. Anyway, I really don't recommend this app.

This app use to be easy to use and did what I wanted it to do which was to share a large number of files with other people. With this new update, its become absolute trash. I've had to read tutorials on how to share files and even then its convoluted and requires others to have the app. We don't want this new feature "boards", its unnecessary and quite frankly its annoying me. I've uninstalled the app.
