Universal TV Remote Control

Ads, ads, ads, more ads, and then when you finally get to adjust the volume, you get another ad after the first click. Then you get an unskippable ad for an obvious scam. Oh, and then you close it out, because the last ad crashed your phone, and then you sit through four more ads. Hey! It's back! Oh, wait, another ad... and this one uses the false (x) so you can't close it.

It works I guess, but I literally can't go 3 button presses without an at least 15 second ad.

I've used apps (games, tools) before with ads, and fine, but this one, what the... it ridiculous, you cannot even touch the remote, basically every 4 clicks there's an ad, common... I know ads pay for this stuff, but every 4 or 5 clicks??? It's like watching a movie and every 30 seconds you get 2 minutes of ads. It will take you like a 2 or 3 days to finish an 3 hour movie.

The fact that you want me to pay and have to mange though apps to use a tv remote is ridiculous. I was unable to find a tv remote app from roku. So I will just go buy another one. And take this one off. If I could give this a lower score then 1 I would. I only wanted something to be able to use as a remote since my kids messed theirs up. But I can see that this is definitely not a option. Please do not waste your time on any of these as I tried most and they where all just as bad if not worse.

App immediately tries to charge you for use, I couldn't even use the app because an ad completely covered half the screen. What services are you charging for? Especially at $8 a month or $21 for a lifetime of use? Couldn't even use the app because of the ad, i won't even bother trying to reload to see if it'll actually work on my TV if that's how my 1st experience was. Not worth it at all when other free apps exist without ads

Adds pop up every about every 30 seconds then I have to reconnect to my Roku device! I have to go through this about 6 to 8 times just to pick out one program to watch! Then get hassled about going premium! Lol...I'm going to another remote and uninstalling! Complete waste of time to download! My wife downloaded a perfect one that automatically connects to our Roku when opened and no adds! There out here, just keep looking!

It functions well but lol you guys want 11.99 a month for the ability to control the volume? Wow that's the stupidest thing I have seen in a while. I get you guys need ad revenue to run the app but just put an ad at the top of the screen or only when I start it or something, not locking off the volume buttons. I just installed the official roku app, it doesn't work amazingly but I can actually fully control the TV with that until I can get a replacement remote. Don't support this company.

it's a good app and easy to use but i gave it 3 stars because if you don't pay 11.99 a month for premium you will get a ad every 5 buttons you use on the remote inside the app and it could be the (up) (down) (left) (right) or the (ok) button and it still counts and it gets really annoying when you are trying to find a show... Please fix this problem

It has ads that pop up while you are using the buttons.. so it takes you strait to whatever website it was. Also you have to pay to use things like the power button and the volume (only to turn it up tho??) I lost my remote and was gonna use this for the few days it took to get my new one. Used it for one night and honestly just deleted and didn't watch tv instead😅

TRASH. GARBAGE. HORRIBLE. Worse ever. Wants 7.99 a month for a remote. Otherwise an ad pops up ever 4 clicks to the left or right. The ads are very long and never stop coming up. Even spyware that instantly crashed my cell. Turn the volume up 2 click, wait 3 more minutes to turn it up another click because of an AD. THEN YOU GET ONE CLICK FOR THE NEXT AD. PATHETIC CREATORS. I usually will create my own app just because of people that are wicled like this creator.

Well, I bought a Westinghouse 42 inch Roku tv and it sucks , I should have looked at it closer , if you loose your remote control your just going to have to shell out more money to them. You'll be able to turn the power off and on but that's it , no control buttons and as far as down loading their app and using your phone as a Roku remote you will have to pay them for that to , I was able to get one of the remote apps to work but they don't give you anyway to control the volume unless you pay.

Only 3 stars because literally every couple times you press a button an ad pops up and that's quite irritating how frequent it is. Not even always the quick ads either it's the ones that take 5+ seconds each before you can skip. When I first downloaded it there weren't nearly as many then after the first day it got ridiculous. Also for some reason the volume up and power button options are a premium lol But I mean the app does work fine you just need both phone and tv connected to wifi.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I had this when it was first created and it was never full of ads. I switched phone and since I barely used it in the first place unless I couldn't find my physical remote I just decided to install and try it again. Unfortunately it's not the same. Way to many ads and its just plain annoying. Such a disappointment.

It is KINDA free, and it SAYS it doesn't collect all your personal info, BUT... If you don't pay for it, using it requires deflecting one or more ads every time you want to click one thing. Basically AOL interface. Okay if you're only doing one thing like turning on headphones, but to use it like a remote would be insufferable.

Do not download this app. It tricks you into signing up for another game site and you never get a remote. If it asks for a credit card, don't do it. I got charged $40 twice for 2 different unrelated websites. Fortunately my bank notified me and I was able to cancel the subscription and told me they would reverse the charges . I'll never fall for that again . I'd give -5 if I could but it's not even a zero

shouldn't have to pay $30 FOR A REMOTE APP. EVEN CONTROLING VOLUME COSTS MONEY. And if you click any button more than once, it'll pop up an ad, to get you to click on it before you realize you did. deleting this immediately, and telling my friend not to use hers (Since I literally just told her about this app, before using it...)

This is a Roku remote, not universal. Not to mention it forces a subscription in your face the second you touch anything. Ads are everywhere. Couldn't even use it if it were to work on my tv (which it doesn't.) Complete waste of my energy. Time to go back to looking for my remote. Please just download the Roku app.

The app didn't let me do anything. I watched ads more than I could use the remote. The buttons seemed blocked (until I watched the ad) and even though my TV was connected successfully, everytime I hit a button it'll redirect me to an ad. I understand the need for ads if I'm using it for free, but it was just too much. Couldn't even use the remote properly. If this is your way to push people to buy premium it won't work, people will just get pissed. Don't download this app, it's trash.

I had to watch 5 ads before I could even click on what I wanted to watch. It is very annoying and intrusive. I understand needing to get your money, but there are plenty of apps like this that don't push ads on this scale. I would never pay for your app. I'm deleting it because the ads aren't even worth using it for free.
