Voice Recorder

I have tried many apps, either they had too many adds or were over complicated, shared my personal information, or were just, well, horrid. This app is exactly what I needed. It's easy to use, you can share recordings, the sound quality is excellent, and they don't collect personal information. I'm a musician as well as a writer so I was very happy with the sound quality and the ease of stopping and restarting recordings. Best of all after using it for an hour there was 1 small ad ! Love it !

This app is to recording what Audacity is to editing. It is complete. Its sound product is outstanding. Recording can be done from an external, Bluetooth, or built-in on the device. Files are saved in common formats. There are no proprietary files to export. Activate location, and it will save the most precise geographic info available. I may have subscribed twice, but it is worth the investment. I am a musician and sample collector. It records what I hear as I hear it.

I like everything about this app, especially the cloud sharing. but I can't give it a good review because of a major bug. I do a lot of pausing/playing when recording while also going to other apps to look at references and I've discovered that if you're recording in the background while multitasking, and pause and then play the recording, it completely cuts out huge chunks of audio. I've even disabled battery optimization but it didn't help. EDIT: they fixed it so im giving a 5 star review!

this works great. I use it to take meeting minuets for a non profit im in. I can hear everyone clearly, even at the far end of the room from me. It really does pick up every sound. Papers rustling, clocks ticking, etc though so be mindful of that. There are ads, but they arent intrusive or in your face so its OK. It's easy to go back and listen as well so I can copy what was said accurately when I do the minuets.

I was impressed with this app for 12 hours. Transcriptions were decent, the sound quality was good, advertisements were minimal, and the free version was awesome. I loved the free upload to Google Drive. However, when I subscribed, to see if I could then search text, I could no longer open the settings. Every time I tried, the app crashed🥺. If this app were able to search my transcriptions, I would reinstall the free version.

I love how easy this is to use. However, there doesn't seem to be any options to take recordings and set them as ringtones. If there is, it's not clear to users what it is. EDIT: really wish the ads weren't a thing. I got a full screen pop-up one telling me my phone was infected, yet when I ran my anti-virus it found absolutely nothing. Way to allow scammy ads and give users a heart attack.

Wow this app is amazing & free! I just tested to see if I can use it tonight for my nursing lectures & it's more than I expected. It let's you record while going to different apps/areas of your phone, or while your phone is "resting". It also transcribed everything I was saying for free. It also let's you play different speeds while listening to the recording. I hope I can use this app with my iPhone, since right now im using an android phone while my iPhone gets repaired. Overall love it!!!

I am highly upset! I have had this app for atleast 3 years or so, and it was pretty great, gave it 4 stars...until the recent update. All of my recordings, almost 200 lyrics, melodies, potential songs...gone, sadly deleted... And without warning! To me that's like a musician chillin in a coffeehouse, writing lyrics in a notebook, and a barista walks by, grabs the notebook while you're not looking, and chunks it in the trash. Downright heartbreaking.

I really like the availability of controls for playback (looping, playback speed control, folders for organising recordings). It's outstanding relative to the competition. Almost plays the role of both a recorder and player, except it falls short on the recording side! The saved files are buried in android/data and you can't change the save location. Would be perfect otherwise.

this app had the main things that I wanted. clean user interface. ability to categorize. transcription. cloud storage. sure, there are more features that you have to pay for, but just for a few bucks you can remove the ads which is the main thing that I can't stand. I will never stop using this app.

again, ran into this issue with cropping my mp3 files where they either won't load the 2nd copy the same way I cropped it, or it won't load properly at all. I have an audio I cropped today that sounds perfectly fine and accurate, but the duration says 0:00, the line of duration cuts forward and backwards erratically, and when I import it elsewhere there's a part of the outro cut out that I didn't do myself. This is my only issue, the app is great otherwise but please fix🗿

*okay but not perfect.* 1. Doesn't let you listen to recordings whilst recording them. 2. When it doesn't record silent parts, it still shows you an incorrect time on your screen so later you realize your recordings are actually shorter than you thought and even generally the time is often a couple of seconds off. 3. Gives you ads. 4. Makes you pay for premium if you want extra features.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP!!!...I recorded almost 40 mins of evidence, only to find that it was only 1:15 from the start.... absolutely dissatisfied because the app clearly indicated 36 mins of recording when I finished recording. What a waste!

I'm having trouble sharing recordings. When I try to share them with other applications, it says "recording not supported," even though the compression has been completed.

Like it, much clearer recording and no adds so far after 1 recording. Much better than other apps which were awful and full of adds that actually blocked the functionality of the app.

I'm having trouble using the "resume" function. I am in the free trial period and the resume function does not work for all recordings, only for some. Also, where can I go to see what all the premium functions are?

Audio was surprisingly clear given the quality of my microphone, and the app was easy to navigate. Audio files took up little to no space.

great app, easy to use, always available without waiting for adds or something, it's very important to have it available in the moment you need it.

It's an easy -to use app and it doesn't require internet so, You can record what you want easily. It's also free.

WHERE ARE MY FILES!? I've been using this for years. An hour ago I had over 600 files, how the hell did they just disappear!? I need recovery options
