Voice Recorder

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!! Besides the fact that you can't push a single button on it without being immediately walled by UNSKIPPABLE ADDS with volume on... a 3 hour session of something that was really important to me is now just lost. I watched it record the entire thing only to now see that the file is showing 0 bytes of data and cannot be played at all. Furthermore, the app randomly starts itself and caused my alarms for work to not go off. I've now literally lost money from this app.

Immediately asked for agreeance to privacy policy. I am used to having a voice recorder available on a phone like a notes app and expect it to be private. I don't trust a voice recording app that has its own policy to agree to. Really off-putting. And ads? Come-on. What for? It's literally one of the most basic apps one can ask for. Imagine using a calculator app with ads. How about let's not.

I downloaded this app because I need a voice recorder and I'm frustrated because, aside from simply pressing "record" and "stop", this app is not very easy to use. Along with that, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what but every time I need to record something...IT DOESN'T. Like it will record a few background noises but no voices or anything else. I'm just...not a fan of this one, I guess. Thumbs down for me 👎🏾👎🏾

I'm assuming it's really easy to make an app that just records with your phone. This one is obnoxious to use; if I need Voice Recorder I want to grab my phone and hit record as quickly as possible and the ads on here make it so you can't. There's a pop-up asking you to rate the app every time you hit the back button to escape so I figured I'd give my honest opinion right now.

If giving zero stars was an option that is the one I would have taken. This app is the worst voice recording app that I have ever used. It requires permissions to record why you're on the phone with somebody. That's bonkers to begin with! That's a big red flag! But if you're dumb enough to agree like I was, and you use the app and record something it doesn't play back for you. When you hit playback in the app it starts to give you the sound and then it go silent for the rest of the recording. MD

I spent $200 on trauma hypnotherapy today. I used this app to record the entire thing so I could go back and re listen to it and the app won't open now. No updates needed, cache cleared, phone restarted, storage is available. Just randomly won't open. Super disappointed. I emailed the customer service email. We will see if they can do anything.

I paid the $2 for the premium for no ads and there were still ads. I don't know why and the button to "Get Premium Now: No Ads" was still there within the app after purchase. Also the pictures that are in the app store don't represent the app at all, the layout looks very different than what the pictures show and the pictures make it look much better. If these can change then I would give it a better review.

To be honest, I was expecting to hear what I recorded and then immediately uninstall. However, I found that the app rendered an excellent recording. I've only used the app in an office setting, but the speaker was over 15 feet away from the device. Speakers used microphones, while others did not, and the audio was great in both instances.

I would like this app a whole lot more if it did not REQUIRE me to allow permissions that have nothing to do with functionality of the app itself. "I let you use my app if I can invade your phone, make and manage calls, display over other apps and record your key strokes, peruse your contacts" and we must not forget "I need permission to access every single one of your data and media files". Anyone still want to download the app.?

I downloaded this Voice Recorder App and attempted to record a phone conversation. When the call came in, I tapped the record button, and the app indicated it had begun recording. When the conversion ended, I stopped the recording and saved it. The app indicated I had approximately 40 minutes of conversation that had been saved. But when I tried to listen to the recording, it would only play the ringing of the incoming call, and nothing more. SOMETHING IS WRONG! EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!

I tried recording my voice by using this app. The only thing the app recorded was the first 2 seconds of my 10 minute recording and nothing else. My work went to waste when I found out for the first time. Wouldn't recommend if you want to multi-task when using the app to record your voice. This app also unnecessary opens when you end a phone call.

Absolute TRASH! I needed to record an hour long service, and had this running the entire time, and at the end, only the last 1 minute was recorded... It's like it kept resetting every 10 minutes and not saving the older ones. Do NOT rely on this for anyting important. The ads are frikn annoying and the app won't stop even when you close it from the background. Absolute trash bloatware that doesn't even work!

This app is TERRIBLE!! It's a spam house on your phone. I can't do anything on the app without it bombarding me with 5 different ads first. When I try to adjust settings, it asks me about two different times if I'm sure I want to change the setting, which is annoying. When I make/receive calls, the app shows up on the screen, and it's not subtle at all. It takes up a lot of the screen. And on top of that, half the time it doesn't save my recordings. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.

Ads everywhere but almost all are instantly skipable. Fair deal for an app that's free. I like to have it handy because I write songs and when an idea hits me, it could be at any time, anywhere. During work, commute or before I go to bed and if I don't record my thoughts immediately as they happen, I lose them forever unless I luck out and remember them. This is handy for musicians on a budget like myself. Thanks to this, I can keep all my thoughts safe for proper recording as they hit me.

Horrible, the worst... I downloaded this app to record stories that my dad and family were telling during a get together, but I didn't want it to be known I was doing it so that it would be more authentic. I started recording then closed my phone and set it down so noone would notice. The recording kept going and each recording was several minutes long, but they were empty, it quit recording when closing phone screen. Now I'll never have these stories recorded for future. Do not install!!!

Super loud ads at the worst times ever. Slow entry into the app when time is of the essence. It used to be an amazing app, but now I hate it. Also recorded a 40-minute conversation I needed for court that can never be gotten again, and it only recorded 3 seconds. 3 SECONDS!! Acted like it was working. Don't trust it.

Worst voice recording app ever. Sometimes it doesn't even record the sound. Ads are ridiculous and pop up in the middle of a playback. To make matters worse, I recorded probably a hundred different music demos, and now the app won't even open! All that material is now lost. Whatever you do, don't get this app. It's absolutely terrible. -5 stars

I've had this free version many months. It's incredibly glitchy. I've never been able to use something important. For instance: This afternoon I recorded a doctor appointment for a client and saved it carefully. I had three files saved. This sunset, there are zero files. I can not send her the doctor review. I did not open or use the app after saving the file under meetings. Now no files exist. No recordings. No important info for my client who needs the info.

It kept pausing on me. I kept having to repush play. Then when it didn't pause I got to an 1:30, then it started every few minutes adding one extra hour till I decided to just save it and start a new one. It said it saved it but then it disappeared when I tried to retrieve it. So I recorded a few minutes to see if it would save and that saved but everything that I tried to record for that almost 2 hours end up becoming lost when I really needed it to record.

Worst app ever. After recording a call, unclear guidance to SAVE THE RECORDING. Press the wrong button, recording gone! I have some how managed to save several calls, but I don't know how I got to that point. You'd think after a call ended there would be a clear and unmistakable save this recording, "yes" or "no". This app is worthless if I can't SAVE THE RECORDING!!!!!
