Response below does not jive with app. Nothing called "Pedometer". Went to "Steps" but could not find options in menus to stop and restart counting. Tried force stop and clearing cache. Still not working. The app changed recently after months of daily use as a step tracker. This week, instead of tracking steps in real time as I walk, it now counts in the background and updates the displayed steps count roughly every 2 minutes. I have been unable to find a fix for this. Frustrating!

Only decent for food/water tracking as it is not compatible with any other devices except Samsung watches, ring, phone, etc. I wear a Garmin watch and various other workout apps. Mistakenly thought SH would be ideal since it seems to encompass all of the tracking needs in one app. But, I do not carry my phone when I am working out. And since it isn't compatible with my watch or other apps to sync my info, it's pretty useless.

this app looks nice and has a lot of features but none of them works well at all. It does a terrible job tracking workouts, even if you choose the walking option it will randomly miss large chunks of the walk. (yes I turned off power saving mode even when I shouldn't have to) Also the food tracking is unusable. Additionally you can't edit workouts. for example you play tennis, it auto detects a walk, later you want change it? Gotta manually enter a new workout and delete the old one.

The app lacks a sort of sophistication other fitness apps have. Cartoon animals and color coded amoeba? Nah. Oura's interface is something to envy; made for adults, not children. Next issue is with sleep tracking. No, it didn't take me 3 hours to fall asleep last night. I spent some time reading. I should be able to make this adjustment without deleting the whole sleep record. I can't. Third, data trends. Not prominent or easy to get to. Shouldn't have to port data to excel to make sense of it.

Worked great for the first year, but some time over the last few months it stopped sleep tracking entirely. I have to manually log the hours I was asleep (it even gives me the exact times! so it knows but refuses to log it?) and hasn't shown sleep stages for ages. I have done a restart, checked all permissions, everything suggested online, and it's still useless. Would have been nice to know before I blew so much money on an overpriced watch.

I dont know what they were thinking with this last update. The app is very slow and clunky now. when I search for meals, it will just show me the list of ingredients, not the actual name. Everything was divided up into multiple menus for no reason. If I want to update a meal or check what's in it, it takes me to the name change section, so I end up typing instead of scrolling. The app takes about 5 full seconds to open the search bar after I tap it as opposed to being instant like before.

ever since latest update sleep tracking has been useless. all of a sudden all stages are inaccurate or missing data. I did not say anything about deleting data. I am saying all the data seems inaccurate compared to.previous data. and i see others with the same issue. so i am not sure how if I call as others have also been told that anything will get fixed for me when everyone has an issue since last update to sleep tracking. Again, my issue has nothing g to do with deleting past data.

Was really enjoying the app. UNTIL the latest update. I like being able to track everything, but they took away the pause function on the step counter. It's not too big a deal if it's not something you keep track of. I work in the oilfield and drive down lease roads at a slow pace, and now I'm averaging anywhere from 13,000 to 20,000 steps. 😅 I would always pause it before driving down them because I knew it affect it. Please bring it back!! Enjoy the app either way.

This is my go to app for tracking my calories intake, menstrual cycle and excercise times. It's generally good but since the last update has been a bit laggy when searching for items to upload in calorie counter. Edit: good grief. You made the app fine again and now you've changed it again. It's time consuming enough counting calories without having all of your buttons moved around on the screen, making you have to stop and figure out where everything is. Stop fixing what isn't broken!!

I've been using this app for food tracking for about 2 years. I love that you can set custom meals, and they were ordered Alphabetically which was nice, with the most recent update they are ordered by when you created them, so they appear completely random while searching for meals which takes forever to find them, on top of that there's no way to change the order. This was a poor choice by developers.

I have been using this app for over a year. First with the Ring, now with my watch 8. It seems to vary quite a bit on whether it's accurate it not. If I'm still for a while, it has said that I'm napping when I'm actually on my phone. Also, why did you remove the ability to check your stress level at will? I found that tool useful. Also, with the Aura rings, they will suggest to their user that may be getting sick. Why doesn't Samsung do that?? This would need extremely helpful.

Sleep time is very inaccurate. This affects everything else. The app shows that I sleep 3 hours a night. Rarely more. I sleep about 6 to 8 hours a night but the app doesn't show that. Seems if I get up and go to the bathroom during the night the app stops my sleep time and doesn't show it in the morning. It starts my sleep from when I get back into bed after using the bathroom. This is a major problem for me as it affects everything else the app tracks.

sometimes, it doesn't track my steps at all, even if I restart my phone. I've granted all necessary permissions. I walked for 30 minutes, and when I sat down to check it, the steps were the same as when I started :( it's really inconvenient during a workout. I like to see real-time accuracy... kinda weird that it doesn't work anymore..

Since the update, I can no longer pause steps. Really enjoyed the app before, but the update makes it useless for me. When I mow it adds steps now, so my data is skewed. Also, I haven't liked the sound that was added when I open the steps counter, and have met my goal, it makes that stupid sound, I liked it quiet and cannot find an option to turn that off. If they put the option back, its 5 stars, but as of now, its not.

Don't even want to use the app anymore because the new UI for logging meals is comically inefficient. This is the process now: You hit Search at the top of the screen. Then all the way down at the bottom to type in the food you had. Then back toward the top to choose the right food. Then back to the bottom to click Save. Then all the way back at the top right to hit Next. Then back at the bottom to hit Done. It's a masterclass in bad UI and it was perfectly good before so why change it

Love this for tracking my workouts and my meals! I also love that it connects to my smartwatch so it can track my workouts in a more detailed way. My only complaint is about the saved foods list - it used to be in alphabetical order but it recently changed to chronological order they were entered and its kind of a pain to search for my foods as I enter them in.

Great app overall. However, the split guide is enabled on my phone but does not alert based on the distance setting. Also, sleep tracking recently started calculating incorrect start times or failing to track nights when I wake up in the middle of the night. Other sleep apps on my phone track these sessions correctly, so my sleep score in this app ends up being very inaccurate.

Was fine before this update. Steps don't update in real time anymore. Can't pause step counting anymore either. This feels uselessly intentional. Physical activity also doesn't feel like it's being accurately recorded anymore. If not fixed soon I will jump ship to another app, I'd advise others to do the same. MASSIVE inconvenience. Then they'll tell you "call *some number they leave behind*" for leaving a bad review lol... they need to roll out a new update to fix this QUICK.

The most recent update removed live step counting. it now updates with new totals every minute or two. Stupid change. Why? Sometimes I walk late at night and want to get to a certain amount before midnight. It used to keep step counts as you made them, now I can only hope I get to what I'm aiming for when it updates. Whoever made this change within the app coding should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY.

App decided to stop tracking my steps so restarted the app, restarted the phone, forced stopped the app and restarted, now my entire history is gone. There doesn't seem to be a way to get it back. I'm logged in with the same account, I restored backup data, nothing is there. Absolute garbage of an app. Use ANYTHING else that retains data better and actually counts your steps.
