QR & Barcode Scanner

It's true this app lets you see the link. Usually, I copy and paste into my browser. However, this time I clicked on the link in the app instead, and after the fact realized the page I ended up on looked suspicious, but only after I had entered my email and CC information. Immediately, I was flooded with new spam. It's possible that my CC was compromised, too. Android/Chrome recognized the page as a CC form and was happy to use my saved information to auto populate it. Reported.

While most photo apps or Google Lens can scan QR codes, I sought one where I can see the entire URL before going there. This one allows you to share/save/create QR codes. Ads are clearly marked and shown at the bottom, and for US$7 lifetime cost you can purchase the pro version, which eliminates ads and provides other things. The app says you can watch 3 videos to get the pro version for free, but that didn't work for me. Great app!

I just downloaded the app tried to use it once and already popping up to upgrade to the paying version and I declined. When I scanned the QR code I need to find out about because it's from the post office about a letter I'm waiting for, it scans the code and nothing else. Can't click on it, won't open to a new web browser, in fact it does absolutely nothing at all!! Waste of time and all they want you to do is upgrade to the paid version in order for the scanner to properly work!!👎👎👎

Update: It's been more than 2 maybe 3 years, and I still use this app regularly because I'm a reseller, and before i buy something, i want to know quickly how much it sells for on eBay and Amazon. THIS IS PERFECT!!! Orig Review: Works great for me on my Samsung S22 Ultra. Some codes do not pick up NOT because of the app, but instead because the code is internal to the company and not really a QR code but a different type of code.

The most powerful feature for my workflow is the automatic URL handling combined with the in-app Chrome browser. It allows me to build custom HTML/JavaScript validation pages that can trigger a close() command once a process is finished. This automatically returns me to the scanner, making bulk processing incredibly efficient. Highly recommended for anyone needing a programmable scanning loop!

For a generic barcode scanner, it is really good at its job. It can read most common codes and even regenerate them for clarity. Over all, it's a great app and I would recommend any other app for the job.

Great scanner with lots of formats and features, fast and easy to use. Ads can be annoying but pro upgrade helps. Useful for quick QR/barcode scanning on the go . it is very useful and great apps....

scanning works fit free, links open and one can view code in digital version, link opens pagea. i havent tried generating codes but i see app duppot the festure

it scans qr codes but if you use it to sign in to something the sign in will cancel because it redirects you to a ad every time

App used to work fine but recently it's been updated to either force the user to pay to upgrade or to accept third party cookies, the latter of which is a big no no. shame but there's plenty more apps available to choose from. avoid this one.

Update - recently the scan region that used to save its shape between sessions, now it resets every time. it's irritating because it works best the way I set it. I also don't think the paid version provides any real value over the free version.

Works well for me. ive never had any issues with the app. and it even warns you when the QR code you scan is faulty or fake.

Placing an order on the in-store computer screen is cute, but it takes away human interaction. It does not make service any faster

Bad experience, whatever I scan, it just copies the code written down and it shows something completely different.

to access content, you must register. step 2 of registration is give your credit card information even though there's no charge. lol. kick rocks bottom feeders. stay away from this one, they are scammers.

Finally, a free app that doesn't need credit card details. It did exactly what I needed. Mostly because I didn't click an ad. A warning for all. Be careful of the ads on the bottom. Had a similar ad on other apps that has a START button, which takes you to a credit card page. I might have been a little harsh on the first 4 apps I tested. But I doubt that.

app works okay, did what I needed to do. I'm uninstalling due to full page ads that have no way to get out of them other than to clear the app off the phone. I'm done with this app. uninstalled right after this feedback
