This is an absolutely horrible mobile banking app. Everytime I try to login, it wants to send me an email with a one time code to log in with, and I'm using biometrics to log in. The emails sometimes don't show up for over 10 minutes. Barebones functionality is putting it nicely. Haven't tried any "features" yet, but as far as I can tell, it's only going to be good to check balances in my account. I hope they do some modernization to this app because it is way outdated.

I've banked with Comerica for many years and have no issues with the banking experience. I must say when it comes to electronic interfaces though they lag behind EVERY other institution that I've dealt with. This app used to work and was tolerable, but bare bones. Now it doesn't work at all. It just closes instantly. Also, Comerica doesn't allow their cards to be loaded to Samsung Pay. They seem to be more Apple friendly as at least there you can use biometrics to log in... Not on Android

it suddenly stopped working.it keeps saying to try again later, for like three weeks.. Update -- after 3 months of 'try again later' it suddenly started working again. When I originally reported the problem, they said they put on an update that required me to buy a newer phone. I pushed back hard against this and asked them to fix the update and let me know when it was working again. They didn't notify me, but it is working now. Still, three months is a long time to fix a bad update.

Used to be an okay app for general banking, mainly used for mobile check deposit since I don't live near any branches of the bank. For the past couple months, however, the app freezes when attempting to start a mobile deposit, resulting in force closing the app. Every time this is done you have to relogin, and after doing it a few times it locks the account (even web banking). This forces you to call customer service to get it unlocked. Very aggravating!

This app is extremely unreliable, which is obviously not a good thing when managing money on the go. For the last two months now, the app will fail to recognize your password, even if you type it perfectly. So you have to reset it at unpredictable times, which is a time consuming annoyance. Also, Zelle integration is terrible. Sometimes, the Zelle interface simply won't load. When it does, it fails to complete transactions each time, with no reason given. Comerica needs to do better.

1 Star - Update Aug 2024 allowed login then said I had no stored bills to pay & app asked me to log in again. Then, trying to log back in, it kept saying the password or user ID are bad, yet I can login with them in them in browser. This is something no one wants to see on a banking app. Update: 3-star - deleted data and cache and app seems to work now. Apparently, the new app did not clean out the old data for the old app on installation. Still seems to be a poor process.

Do not rely upon this App for anything important (like banking). If something fails in the background after you are done using the app, you will get a "pending" notification but will never get a subsequent notification that something failed on their end. This is especially problematic with deposits because of a "deposit pending" notification. If something fails after that, you will never know unless you constantly refresh for the next few days and happen to notice that the deposit never posts...

I have been banking with Comerica for a very long time and used to never have an issue with the mobile app. For the last 7 months I have not been able to access the app, it keeps telling me that an error has occurred to try again later. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, restarted my phone, called customer service, and talked to my branch about it and no one has an answer as to why i cant access the app. This is incredibly frustrating. This needs to be fixed or im closing my account!

Im being going through some embarrassing moments with this bank, specially when Im trying to use Zelle to pay for food & other items. I end up driving 30 minutes to the bank to take money out their atm ( which by the way has been down for the past 2 days) The app is no different. It always says "System is down, try again later". The problem here is that when my information is compromised i can't get hold of anyone. Sucks 0/10 stars! Bank is outdate!

The app has been the same for a number of years with the same features. I don't really have issues with the bank but their app has to be updated. They don't have biometric logins and a lot of times it takes a while before you are signed it. The selections on there aren't much and there's no option to change your debit pin. They need to change their app

Can't Bookmark in Chrome. I use the PC version instead of the app. Bookmarked, quicker and protected by Google, easier and simple to use. Only downside may take 5 seconds to load sometimes and can't pay thru Zelle. But use the app for that one function.

USELESS APP! Doesn't show transaction history. What's the point? I usually just log in to the website. There's much more detailed account info available. The app is just a waste of space.

Comerica has the worst App ever. always crashing or telling me I have the wrong password and I'm using fingerprint 🫆. They need to get with the program and update their app, I swear I'm clicking forgot password at least 3 times a month.

I experienced massive fraud to my accounts multiple times and Comerica threw me out instead of repairing my debit card fraud. i had 5 different debit cards by Oct. In fact one week after I received a new debit card I didn't activate it for a week. when I did activate my card there were 3 fraudulent charges to my new account number and I hadn't even activated my new account yet. Now how does that happen other than inside numbers theft. And then initially Comerica wanted to charge me for those.

Cant login to your account from the app. Continues to give error for password despite it being auto saved. Will lock you out if you continue to enter correct password.

Biggest POS on the app store. Out of all the money you charge for maintenance fees and any other fee you get away with, you should put into this app. Loading peed is like dial up in the 80's (if there's not an error or problem logging in at the time), this app is 15 years behind everyone else's. Get with the times. I'm on a 1gb connection. Even the website is so outdated.

1. Its Zelle function doesn't work, and Zelle itself forces me to use its service by using the Comerica app, which says Zelle is "unavailable" when I click it. Already reinstalled the app multiple times to no avail. 2. Trying to deposit a check...number pad lacks a "." for the cents and thus I'm unable to put the actual deposit amount.

I have not been able to use this app since 4/30/21. It is beyond frustrating and I'm highly contemplating if I should just switch to a new bank. I need to use the mobile deposits but can't do that if I can't log in. Please fix this already!! I have undownloaded and downloaded it again, I have cleared all data and cache. Nothing works.

App has far to many issues, especially considering it's a major banks app, the load times for the bulletin message and to connect to your account to do anything are ridiculous and sometimes take several minutes, errors are very common, and many times it simply seems as though its offline and cant reach the services, and add a fingerprint sensor already. It's pretty sad banking apps are a pretty standard thing these days and are how many people conduct their banking I expect more from my bank.
