Good effects when it's not busy crashing. Also some of the ads they run are beyond obnoxious. They blast sound through your speakers and you can't stop them till they run their way too long courses. Sometimes when one ad finally stops another immediately follows, and you wait and wait and wait to actually use the app. Fix those problems and I'll give it a 5. Till those things are fixed, a 3 is VERY generous.

Love it... Would have 5 stars if there were less ads...And I feel like there would be if... the app could be improved by allowing users 2 add different filters to the same picture, by simply saving it and clicking back to add a different filter. At this point, you would have to go back and watch an ad, find and click the same picture again and add a different filter. It's kind of a lot if you like several filters for the same picture. Even still though, I do love this app! Thanks a lot

I dig it! Nice selection. I paid for all the ad free options - the ads are invasive so the free version isn't so good. But I paid a few bucks for everything, removing ads, extra filters and 4k. The 4k image add on slows use down horribly and could be improved. The filters are great for comic book styled images from photos. I love it so far. For the developers: how about a PC version? Would love to be able to work with it on my desktop or laptop. Nice job! I really am enjoying the app!

I'm knocking it down to ONE stars. They fixed the issue with the images always saving. Unfortunately, when they fixed this, they ADDED an ad when you send a comic as a text/MMS message. I have to delete their "My comic Send from my phone" with a link to app every time I send a comic as a text/MMS. I PAID for the app to be ad-free. I PAID for the app. I did NOT PAY TO BE THEIR UNPAID ADVERTISER. This should be a five star review. The app is great. It's intuitive and easy to use. I haven't sent a non-comic/non-cartoon text message in months. I'm only giving it four stars instead of the five it deserves because even if you don't save an image, even if you click on "confirm" when it says this image hasn't been saved, it saves it anyways and you end up with a load of comic/cartoon images cluttering up your phone. Because I send almost every text message in cartoon/comic form, I have to go in daily to delete all of the extra images it saved even though I told it not to. Fix this and I'll update the review to five stars.

Would be great if it didn't crash & return to the title screen on me over and over again. I would love to try to actually do 3 or 4 pictures and put them in a collage so it looks like a comic. But i can't get past 1 filter. I'm lucky when i get that far. Gotta click on it and hit the checkmark quick before it goes home on me. Most times I can't even do that. Idk if its the OnePlus phone, or Android 10, because I see all the other good reviews. But it's not working for me. 3* for what I can see

I just want to give u guys some great feedback. I love the cartoon filter and many others. I couldnt find other similar apps comparable as yours. Please keep up the good work. One small note, please work on an update where u can easily navigate through the picture albums. It take forever to edit pictures from years ago because of scrolling, and it reset each time you select a picture. My wife and I love the app so much that I bought both upgrades in support.

Solid for beginners. Best for memes. When used in conjunction with Autodesk Sketchbook, you can begin to do some amazing things. I'd like a better paneling selection with the option to edit the size and shape of the panels. A font selector. I also think there should be a standardized page option to format projects to fit different screens, and print sizes. Needs to be able to read and convert .tiff files., but looks on the road to becomming a comic art professional's companion. Keep it up.

I get having to pay for more filters that's business, too many adds. If I pay for a premium package I shouldn't have to pay for ads to be removed. The multi-function to actually make a comic is to restricted there needs to be more options to choose from. Those are more collage photograph frames and not comic book storyboard style frames. Read some comic books, see how they're laid out. Make the necessary tweaks, this app could be top-notch!

This does more than I wanted. I make lino-block prints and needed a quick way of converting digital images to grey scale with sharp lines as with the "comic" filter on this app. Additionally, I've found the other filters to be useful as well, but for my sensual, adult art. I really like the "cartoon" and "lusid" filters for this purpose, especially since the app gives several options for comic book style frame-in-frame multi images. Speech bubbles! "Marker" is great too. Thanks.

App will not "Save"; a fairly important feature!?; don't you think?; also, intrusive constant ads❗Even if I liked & wanted to obtain the products in the ads, I would immediately change my opinion! It's a shame; the thesis beyond the app is totally kewl & I think the graphic arts genre has a lot of room to grow in this particular failure...bummer...

so far so good. just got the paid version (and I rarely like an app enough to get paid version). For me was worth the 2.99, so many extra themes. I wish the freehand paint was easier to use. Some of the themes are very cool but would be even cooler if you could adjust or change the color schemes of them. that said, this was perfect for what I was looking for.

I really enjoy this app. Only had it for 2 days so far. Wish they waited for me to use it a bit more before asking me to rate it. Here goes. More layouts for square photos in the milultuple selection, more fonts always..., more types, sizes, and ability to rotate text bubbles would be nice. Love the amount of choices you can turn photos into, and the whole concept of this was exactly what I was looking for. ACES

So good. So fun. I just LOVE it! Great for fav's, for projects, for fixing flaws and just overall picture fun. But the best part of it all is you actually get to make a comic strip out of your photo's. A joy for the whole family. I am actually creating a comic book and I am then flipping them into my Flipboard App which is a great app too but it really compliments the games and magazine dedicated to Comics of my own; made from my own snapshots and turned into a comic strip. So great!

I love how, when I convert one of my own photos into a comic or otherwise, I can then use it as a template for artwork! Like a paint by numbers painting! I totally had my friends fooled when I uploaded a comic image to my social media page. They believed me when I said that it was a painting 😂 I was, of course, messing around with them, but they fell for it. It's a super cool app! Thanks!

I just came back to comment on this app. I loved it so much that I have been on a spree making all my photos and wallpapers into comic, dreamy or sketch like graphics with so many filters available. If you want more filters (it means MORE) you can buy a cheap in-app upgrade. Also, if you want to remove just ads you can buy another even cheaper in-app upgrade. The ads just open at the top mostly, I did not need the ad removal. But I got the in-app purchase just to support the developer. 5/5

This app is really good for making comics from pictures. The filters are ok. the Stamp filter looks most like a comic. If you can add an option of having multiple pages and saving your comics, export to pdf, and a few more text input styles like double pointed text /thought balloons, narration box, and a comic print dot matrix colored filter, it would be amazing. But still it's the best (and probably the only good one) app in this arena.

PROS: It changes a lot of photos in actual comic book drawing art, so.etimes painting. It's a lot of fun and you keep wanting to change your friends onto Marvel heros. CONS: 1 or 2 adds after each creation and ypu have to research your photo from the syart, even if you wanted to work on the same one. But i guess they need the money You have to check, it doesn't work on all the photos, depends on light and angles. But it works on a lot of them :)

Inspirational. I am a total beginner when it comes to editing photos and graphics. Comika is easy to use and the results satisfy my comic book art loving soul. Limited options? Probably, but the lack of choices helps this noob to choose and complete projects. Special thanks to the reviewer who suggested applying filters to landscape images. I love this and so does my 7 year old granddaughter.

This app lets you create simple comic strips with resizable speech balloons, thought bubbles and description boxes, using pictures from your phone or taken with your camera, and which can be repositioned. You can even apply filters like cartoon. While the undo function is slightly limited and you can't re-edit a balloon, bubble or box after it's been applied (only delete it), this isn't much of a problem since it's so easy to recreate these. Excellent and dead easy to use.

This is a great app, I just wish they offered a pro version so I could get rid of the adverts! Great fun easy to use I'd give it 5☆ if I could only get rid of the ads! You can get rid of the adverts! I'm an idiot press the bottom right button and not only do you get rid of the adds you get a load more great filters. I'm giving this app the full 5 Stars.
