Compass : Digital Compass

I have a few complaints. You can't trust it when you turn it on first. You have to do the figure eight with your phone in order to make sure that it's calibrated properly or you're going to get false readings. Does not work well inside for obvious reasons, outside not near metal objects is the best result. No crashing issues or anything like that.

Since the ads on this app block the button on my phone that closes the app I'm considering deleting it if this isn't changed.

Finally! An app that is easy to install, easy to use, doesn't waste my time with ads I'm going to ignore anyway, and does what it says "on the tin". It's accurate "straight out the box" and doesn't waste my time with unnecessary rubbish. Are there ads? Yes, but they're tiny and don't get in the way. I don't have to watch a 5 minute video of some stupid game I won't ever play or some Muppet giving me a speech about their latest get-rich-quick scheme. I like this app. WELL DONE!

Works great...keeps me from getting lost. I do a lot of relic/artifact hunting in large, dense, and remote wooded areas where it's easy to get turned around and sometimes headed in the wrong direction. I can get back on course quickly by using a combination of Google Maps and this digital compass. Both great apps!

Have tried several compass apps and this one is excellent. Simple, good graphics, easy to use. Ads are not intrusive. Really appreciate the ability to transition from geographical (true north) to magnetic (magnetic north) presentation. My one observation is that WHICH presentation is active is NOT intuitive. Currently when the T inside the circle is displayed the compass is reading magnetic. When the M inside the circle is displayed the compass is reading true. That's confusing. Terima kasih!

Good app less adds, adds will only launch if you click those adds at bottom of the screen apps will automatically open after clicking it unlike others you need to watch some adds before app is ready for use .... About accuracy well it depends to the place if where GPS signal is good that you can receive accurate data, signal may not the same for every location.....

Great experience. Sometimes people fear the ads. But believe me, this app does not show any ads when data is off and even does not show unnecessary ads while it's on. I like the pitch black theme. Shows a lot of information. It can use GPS but you can turn it off if you don't want to let it use your GPS. Great app

I tried this app in areas where I knew the compass directions. This app failed to show a correct direction in either location and at times was 90° to 180°, off from the correct direction. The direction shown on the compass also fluctuated a significant amount when I rotated the phone. I attempted to calibrate the compass using the given instructions, but there was no improvement.

Needed a compass quickly for my truck while plowing snow. Download this one from the Play Store. This was my first experience with any compass app. This thing works great. Does exactly what it's supposed to do and is very easy to read. If you need a compass for your phone, download this one. You won't be disappointed.

This is the best free compass app. I use it almost daily at work. The GPS plot is spot on with the gps location on my computer, and the map feature is great when I need to locate the nearest cross-street. I can use this one app instead of having to use two or three. Its everything I need in one app. I like this a lot.

Hi. This app looks impressive, however, although you show that the bearing changes (with some great blue shading). The principal of operation is simply incomplete. In other words, you need to do more ! For example, if I point at destination, then walk around a lake or thorn bush to get to destination, your shading will not be correct as you have no remote gps reference point that you are pointing to / or locked onto. Yes you have my start location, but you must log your remote destination too.

Easy to install, light weight app and easy to use. Accuracy seems to be spot on, I left it for three minutes and didn't experience any deviation in orientation. Really impressive app. On my Samsung S12 this works an absolute treat. Great work, definitely recommend.

Easy to install and operate! The nicely legible lettering and graphics make the compass reading easy on the eyes. Perfect on my cell phone! Also, I'm not getting hit with adds, unlike other free apps I have tried. Highly recommended.

The compass appears to be accurate, but the elevation measurement disagrees with Google earth's elevation measurement and another elevation measuring app that agrees with Google earth's measurement. Not sure if I did something wrong during the calibration step or if the app just doesn't provide accurate elevation measurements.

Works great! AFTER calibrating sensors, which this app easily explained how to do (which also fixed Google Maps orientation issue). Nice simple accurate reliable compass. The ads aren't intrusive, but I'd like to pay a few dollars to skip them, I don't see that option.

The only downside I have is my own cellphone device. It doesn't have all the necessary sensors to have this app working to its full potential. Other than that, with regards to showing the nearest registered physical address, or the physical address I am at if it is registered on Google maps, this app is excellent.
